Presidential Historian Allan Lichtman Loses It When Criticized By Left-Wing Pundit

Historian Allan Lichtman fumed during a heated discussion on Tuesday when he was confronted by “The Young Turks” host Cenk Uygur over botching his call on who would win the 2024 presidential election. The exchange happened during a segment on “Piers Morgan Uncensored” when Uygur brought up Lichtman’s “13 Keys to the White House” projection that Vice President Kamala Harris would beat Donald Trump. “Don’t blame the voters,” Uygur told Lichtman. “I think, look, we can get into this discussion, but one, I think you’re blaming the voters. I think that’s a terrible idea.” “And look, I debated Professor Lichtman before,” he continued. “I told him his theories about the keys were absurd. I was right. He was wrong. I said he’d lose his keys, couldn’t find them before the election.” Lichtman exploded: “No, you were not right and I was not wrong!” “And that’s a cheap shot, and I won’t stand for it,” he continued. When asked who won the election, Lichtman responded: “You should not be taking cheap shots at me.” “You want to make your point, make your point, don’t make it personal,” he continued. “You live in a total world of denial,” Uygur responded while giving Lichtman the cuckoo sign while whistling. Lichtman continued to complain that Uygur was making “personal” attacks against him. “I’ve only been a professional for 51 years, published 15 books,” Lichtman said. “How many books have you published?” MATT WALSH’S ‘AM I RACIST?’ NOW STREAMING ON DAILYWIRE+ “Brother, you got it wrong!” Uygur fired back. “You were preposterously and stupidly wrong. So, can I just finish a g*****n thought ever on this show?” “Don’t call me stupid!” Lichtman snapped. “Who taught you manners? ” “Hey Allan, you deserve a tall glass of shut up juice,” Uygur responded. “So can you just shut up for a second?” Lichtman claimed that Uygur’s criticisms were “blasphemy” against him. “Blasphemy against you? Who the hell are you?” Uygur responded. “Are you Jesus Christ? You loser.” WATCH: GIVE ME THREE HOURS OF THIS pic.twitter.com/0FRJsGaXlm — Yashar Ali ? (@yashar) November 20, 2024

Backed By Millions In Liberal Dark Money, Group Teaches Climate Activists To ‘Talk Like a Human’

A radical environmental group uses millions of dollars from liberal dark money groups to try and teach climate activists how to talk like human beings. The organization, Potential Energy Coalition, a 501(c)(3), says it “creates and executes marketing campaigns grounded in deep analytics and human-centric stories that are proven to persuade.” One of Potential Energy’s projects is the “Talk Like a Human” campaign, an attempt to change messaging on climate change. A slide of this presentation obtained by The Daily Wire shows the group encouraging people not to use words like “climate change” or “warming,” and instead use “extreme weather” and “over heating [sic],” respectively. The group also suggests people no longer use the term “sacrifice” when talking about the subject and instead use words like “enjoy,” suggesting a more positive future than the doom and gloom typically associated with climate change activism. Potential Energy Coalition slideshow The organization also features a series of slides telling participants not to exaggerate and explains that while “climate crisis” and “climate emergency” work for people who are already terrified of climate change, it doesn’t work for people who are not. The slides also suggest keeping the phrasing tied to where a person lives rather than globally and talking about fighting pollution rather than climate change. MATT WALSH’S ‘AM I RACIST?’ NOW STREAMING ON DAILYWIRE+ Potential Energy slideshow Potential Energy slideshow Potential Energy slideshow The organization was once a sponsored project of the Arabella Advisors dark money network’s Windward Fund before it spun off into its own separate nonprofit. Still, Potential Energy continues to rake in millions of dollars from Arabella-managed groups, including $17.5 million in grants from the Windward Fund between 2021 and 2022, and another $13 million in 2023. The Windward Fund paid Potential Energy nearly $2 million in consulting services between 2020 and 2021. Also in 2021, Potential Energy joined other dark money groups, Climate Power and League of Conservation Voters, on a more than $10 million advertising campaign to urge President Joe Biden and Congress to pass a spending bill directed toward climate change. In 2022, the Inflation Reduction Act was passed, which allocated billions toward climate change initiatives. Also in 2022, Potential Energy brought in $38.6 million in revenue, nearly doubling its 2021 revenue. Its spending also nearly doubled. Despite this effort, polls continue to show people aren’t willing to give up oil and gas. An American Enterprise Institute poll from October asked participants whether they wanted to “use a mix of energy sources including oil, coal, and natural gas along with renewable energy sources” or “phase out the use of oil, coal, and natural gas completely, relying instead on renewable energy sources such as wind and solar power only.” By a 3-to-1 margin, participants backed the all-of-the-above approach. Two-thirds of respondents in a September New York Times/Siena College poll said they supported a policy of “increasing domestic production of fossil fuels such as oil and gas.” And an NBC poll from October found that 67% of respondents said they were more likely to support a candidate who wanted to expand fossil fuel production.

Little Girl Points Out Mom On Dad’s Phone… The Pic Is Not What You’d Expect!

In kids’ eyes, their parents are usually “beautiful” and “handsome.” They spend their first several years in hero-worship mode. Parents relish their children’s unconditional love and accept all compliments with grace. Most families fit within these norms, but not all. When Taylor Lanahan’s family was at a restaurant, Dad showed a picture to their daughter and asked who it was. The answer that it was a mom pic was not what either parent expected. @_taylorjenae_ still the best video of her #babysoftiktok #funnyvideo ♬ original sound – Taylor When shown the image, the daughter very clearly answered, “Mommy,” and her dad looked shocked. He asked again; she pointed to the image on his phone, looked at her mom, and said again, “It’s you, Mommy.” After that, her dad turned the “mom pic” image to appear on the video Taylor was recording. The image was hilarious. It showed a furry, blue-tinged monster with huge eyes and sharp, crooked teeth. It looked nothing like the young girl’s mom. Image from TikTok here and here. As you can see, the daughter is much older now, but her mom is still beautiful. There is not one single hint of a furry blue momster. The daughter answered so matter-of-factly. She seemed to believe that pic was her mom. It is possible that Taylor was wearing a costume; the Momster is her, and the daughter knew this. It is also possible that the child was being silly, but she seemed so sure of herself with no underlying giggles. We won’t speculate on the daughter’s reasoning for pointing out the mom’s pic like that. We all agree with the parents that this is a hilarious clip. The daughter is either very confused or the best “straight man” in the business. Please share if you did not expect the momster. You can find the source of this story’s featured image here. Democrats Make Last-Minute Push to Confirm Controversial Biden Judicial Nominees During Lame Duck Session

THE DAILY CALLER NEWS FOUNDATION—Senate Democrats are pushing to confirm more than two dozen of President Joe Biden’s remaining judicial nominees during their final weeks in the majority, including several with controversial records. The Senate has already confirmed four judges during the lame duck session: Judge Mustafa Taher Kasubha to the District of Oregon, Judge Embry Kidd to the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, Judge April Perry to the Northern District of Illinois and Judge Jonathan Hawley to the Central District of Illinois. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York said Monday on the Senate floor that Democrats will “keep working to confirm as many of Biden’s judicial nominees as we can before the end of the year,” according to The Hill. Trump called on Truth Social Tuesday for an end to confirming Biden-nominated judges. “The Democrats are trying to stack the Courts with Radical Left Judges on their way out the door,” he wrote. “Republican Senators need to Show Up and Hold the Line — No more Judges confirmed before Inauguration Day!” Kidd, who was confirmed Monday by a 49-45 vote, was criticized by Republicans for failing to disclose two of his rulings as a magistrate judge granting pretrial release to child sex offenders. Both rulings were reversed by the district court. Another Biden nominee confirmed in a 51-44 vote Tuesday, Judge Mustafa Taher Kasubhai, instructs parties in his courtroom to address one another using preferred pronouns. “The effort today is similar to what Republicans did four years ago, when their party also lost the White House and Senate,” Thomas Jipping, senior legal fellow at The Heritage Foundation’s Edwin Meese III Center for Legal and Judicial Studies, told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “It’s unlikely that all of the nominees now pending before the Senate will be confirmed, some are highly controversial and may not have enough votes,” Jipping continued. “There are also a few important pieces of legislation that Congress has to address and [the] number of days available for Senate floor activity is dwindling.” During his first term, Trump confirmed 234 federal judges, including three Supreme Court justices. As of Monday evening, Biden confirmed 216 judges. “If Elizabeth Warren and these left-wing radicals get their way, Biden is going to surpass President Trump’s first term,” Article III project president Mike Davis said Tuesday on Steve Bannon’s War Room. “How do you stop this? It means Senate Republicans need to show up to work and grind the Senate to a halt.” George Mason University law professor Robert Luther, who helped prepare judicial nominees as associate counsel to the President during Trump’s first term, said Thursday during a panel at the Federalist Society’s National Lawyers Convention that it will be a big deal if Democrats are able to confirm a significant number of judges. “Many or all may still be confirmed, but if Republican Senators don’t focus on this, you can be sure they will be,” Luther said. Trump started his term in 2017 with 108 vacancies available on the first day. In January, he will begin with significantly fewer available seats. “If you had hundreds of vacancies awaiting you during the term, maybe you could convince yourself it wouldn’t be the end of the world,” Luther said. “But Trump isn’t going to have anywhere near the vacancies we had in 2017.” The remaining nominees include “abysmal picks,” many of whom have “been lingering for eight months or more” without confirmation, Judicial Crisis Network President Carrie Severino wrote Friday in National Review. “It is critical that Republican senators unite in opposition and show up during the lame duck session to try and block any more radical and unfit Biden judicial nominees from being confirmed to lifetime positions on the federal bench,” Severino wrote. Biden’s nominees have had a higher percentage of no votes than Trump’s nominees, at an average of 38.1 compared to 22.2 votes in opposition, according to The Heritage Foundation’s judicial appointment tracker. Demand Justice, a left-wing organization that promotes court packing, launched an initiative Friday pressing Democrats to confirm as many judges as possible “With only weeks left before the new Congress, it’s more urgent than ever that Democratic senators do whatever it takes—staying late, working weekends—during the lame duck session to confirm the dozens of remaining fair-minded, qualified judges nominated by President Biden that the American people deserve,” Demand Justice Managing Director Maggie Jo Buchanan wrote in a statement. The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights likewise penned a letter to senators joined by over 140 groups, including the American Civil Liberties Union and the Human Rights Campaign, urging Congress to “confirm every pending judicial nominee.” Originally published by The Daily Caller News Foundation. Final Fantasy 14 mobile is real, and it recreates the early days of the MMO

Yes, you read that headline right, the Final Fantasy 14 mobile port is real and director Naoki Yoshida himself confirmed it. The critically acclaimed MMO with one heck of a free trial is officially coming to mobile devices, and it looks so much better than I ever imagined it would. This version of FF14 won’t be quite the same as Square Enix’s PC and console counterparts, but there’s still going to be an awful lot to do. You can even sign up right now. Future AMD Radeon gaming GPU range to drop Navi name, says leak

While the next generation of AMD Radeon RX 8000 RDNA 4 gaming GPUs is widely expected to launch in early 2025, rumors are already circulating about what will come with the new Radeon RX 9000 series. Not only is this new GPU lineup reportedly going to be the first to be based on the new UDNA architecture, but it will also apparently see AMD adopting a new overarching codename for its gaming GPUs, rather than the Navi moniker the company has used since the Radeon RX 5000 lineup. Although AMD is widely expected to leave the very best graphics card category to Nvidia with its next-gen RDNA 4 lineup of GPUs, the company is reportedly working hard to get its next GPU architecture out the door in a much shorter timeframe than the usual two years. According to the latest rumors, AMD UDNA is coming in 2026, with the new graphics cards potentially in production as early as April of that year.
