“Hey Mom” Goes Viral For Her Grammy-Worthy Voice

Moms can do just about anything. We are the cooks, the maids, the chauffeurs, the nurses, and a million other titles on demand. Sometimes, when we are in the throws of motherhood, it can become our entire identity. But it’s important to remember who we are, at our core, and what life was like before we had children. It’s equally as important for our children to know that we are more than just their mom. We have hobbies and talents, too. Stephanie Ferrett, known on TikTok as @heyyymommm, has a not-so-hidden talent she’s shared with the world, and people are impressed. Stephanie can sing like nobody’s business. She recently went viral for her rendition of Celine Dion’s My Heart Will Go On. People simply can’t get enough. @heyyymommm My heart will go on ♬ original sound – heyyymommm “Hey Mom” Nailed My Heart Will Go On It’s not just a few bars. Stephanie belted the heck out to the song when her daughter asked her to sing. Stephanie, a former singer and actress, now lives in California with her husband and four kids and uses social media as a creative outlet. Her kids say, “Hey mom,” before requesting a song. She told Good Morning America, “I’m a singer. If you’re a singer, you always sing. You’re always singing everywhere. So, it never really goes away.” For Stephine, singing is a bonding experience for her and the kids. “They’ll have these memories in the kitchen forever, like, they’ll have their mom singing forever,” Julie said. “I remember my dad. He created an album too, and he passed 10 years ago, and I’ll always have that … and so it’s like creating these core memories for them. That’s what’s important,” she told GMA. Fans made her My Heart Will Go On a viral sensation. With 6.5 million views, Stephaine is a hit. A fan joked, “‘Mom, can we go to a Celine Dion concert?’ No, we have Celine Dion at home.” Another person pointed out. “I love how you went from exhausted mom to singing Broadway back to exhausted mom just like that!! Your voice is amazing.” You can find the source of this story’s featured image here. The post “Hey Mom” Goes Viral For Her Grammy-Worthy Voice appeared first on InspireMore.

Daniel Penny’s ‘Crime’? Wrong Race, Wrong Place

The same day Daniel Penny, the retired Marine and architecture student, pleaded not guilty to manslaughter and negligent homicide, a New York grand jury declined to recommend charges against Jordan Williams. Williams and his girlfriend, who are both black, were on a Brooklyn subway train when Williams, 20 years old, was approached by an aggressive 36-year-old ex-con homeless black man, Devictor Ouedraogo. In a confrontation captured on video, Ouedraogo punched Williams’ girlfriend in the face, and Williams then pulled a knife and fatality stabbed Ouedraogo in the chest. Williams was later arrested and charged with manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon. Williams’ lawyer said, “The victim was menacing people, as all of us have probably seen on the subway, erratic, deranged, crazy and in many people’s faces before he even encounters my client.” New York Mayor Eric Adams said: “A person with severe mental health illness, what appears to be severe mental health illness, got engaged in a very violent way. The investigation is going to take its course.” A grand jury, citing self-defense, declined to indict Williams, who worked at FedEx and had no criminal record. The Brooklyn district attorney dropped the charges. Unlike in the case of Penny, no “activists” publicly accused Williams of engaging in “racially motivated vigilantism.” As to the case of Penny, who is white, Jordan Neely, a black schizophrenic on drugs and a career violent criminal with over 40 arrests, boarded a New York subway train and threatened passengers. Penny took Neely to the floor with the assistance of two other passengers, one named Eric Gonzalez, and applied a chokehold for several minutes until the police arrived. Penny, unaware that Neely had died, spoke to detectives without requesting a lawyer, and was released without charges. In come the “activists.” CBS News wrote: “Protesters have said they will continue to demonstrate until Penny is arrested. ... Authorities say a crowd of about 100 people stormed the (subway) station, with some jumping onto the subway tracks in protest. At least 12 people were arrested during the demonstration, where multiple officers were injured ...” The New York public advocate, an elected position, demanded charges against Penny: “To say anything else is an equivocation that will only further a narrative that devalues the life of a Black homeless man with mental health challenges and encourages an attitude of dehumanization of New Yorkers in greatest need.” Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg got the message and charged Penny. The jury deadlocked the first charge of manslaughter, and the judge dismissed it. The head of the New York chapter of Black Lives Matter said, “Today, white supremacy got another victory. Today, the KKK (Ku Klux Klan), the Klansmen, the evil in America got another victory.” After Penny’s acquittal on the second charge, the BLM head said: “We need some Black vigilantes. People want to jump up and choke us and kill us for being loud? How about we do the same when they attempt to oppress us?” Meanwhile, nearly half of the nation’s homicide victims are black, almost all killed by other blacks. Of New York’s nondomestic homicides, in a city that is around 25% black, the NYPD statistics show black victims and black perpetrators account for 71% of the total. In Chicago, over the Fourth of July weekend, more than 100 people were shot, 19 fatally, almost all in the mostly black areas of Chicago’s South and West Sides. Where’s Black Lives Matter, if black lives matter? If Penny were black, there would have been no charges. If Neely were white, there would have been no charges. If both were black, or both were white, there would have been no charges. So, to summarize, Daniel Penny, a white man, subdued Jordan Neely, a black man, with the help of two other good Samaritans, one named Eric Gonzalez. Neely posed a threat to passengers on the subway, many, if not most, of whom were black. The D.A. who charged Penny is black. The mayor of New York, who praised Penny’s heroism, is black. The jury that found Penny not guilty included four “people of color.” Yet Penny’s acquittal, according to the head of the N.Y. chapter of Black Lives Matter, means “white supremacy got another victory”?! Cops arrest female who allegedly used infamous phrase connected to accused CEO killer during phone call

A Florida female allegedly used a trio of now-infamous words — “delay, deny, depose" — in what police say was a threat against a health insurance company over a claim denial.Police in Lakeland, Florida, on Tuesday charged 42-year-old Briana Boston with threats to conduct a mass shooting or an act of terrorism, WFLA-TV reported.'Health care companies played games and deserved karma from the world because they are evil.'Boston reportedly called BlueCross BlueShield about a recent medical insurance claim denial and ended the call by saying, “Delay, deny, depose. You people are next," the station said. Those words reportedly were among those engraved on bullet casings found at the scene of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson's targeted, fatal shooting last week and apparently refer to health insurance claim denial tactics. The words are similar to the main title of a 2010 book “Delay, Deny, Defend: Why Insurance Companies Don’t Pay Claims and What You Can Do About It.”According to an arrest affidavit, police said the FBI contacted them about the alleged threat issued during the phone call — the entirety of which was recorded, WFLA said.Investigators said Boston could be heard stating near the end of the call, “Delay, deny, depose. You people are next," the station reported, adding that the affidavit noted the three words have become nationally recognized as a phrase “directed against insurance companies.” Police spoke to Boston at her home in Lakeland, WLFA said, adding that she reportedly admitted to using those words during the call and told detectives that “health care companies played games and deserved karma from the world because they are evil.” Boston reportedly added to detectives that she used the phrase “because it’s what is in the news right now” and learned of it because of the UnitedHealthcare CEO's fatal shooting, the station said.WFLA, citing police, said Boston also noted that she doesn't own any firearms and “was not a danger to anyone."Investigators said they believed Boston meant to threaten the insurance company “by using the UnitedHealthcare CEO’s homicide to her advantage," the station said, adding that the affidavit says Boston was charged with threats to conduct a mass shooting or an act of terrorism.WFLA said a judge set her bond at $100,000 and stated that "I do find that the bond of $100,000 is appropriate considering the status of our country at this point.” Blaze News on Wednesday reported that law enforcement is sounding the alarm over graffiti, flyers, and online posts that not only support Thompson's death but also threaten other CEOs.Like Blaze News? 'Two completely different human beings': Luigi Mangione’s ex-roommate tells ALL

Now that Luigi Mangione has been arrested for the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, there are still more questions than answers as to why the valedictorian would commit such a heinous act. And in a recent interview with Jesse Watters, Mangione’s former roommate, R.J. Martin, tried his best to provide some answers. “Did this guy do drugs?” Watters asked. “Absolutely none that I was aware of,” Martin responded. “He was a great community member, he kind of followed by our values and our ethics to leave things better than you found them. He was always contributing, taking care of other people.” “Even after he moved out, he came and hung out and contributed to the community, spearheaded a book club. He and I became closer friends, working out, going to yoga classes, playing volleyball,” Martin continued. His former roommate also explained that Mangione had “some severe back pain,” though he was “doing his best to take care of himself." Watters then asked Martin about Mangione’s sex life. “He was athletic as long as he could be. I know there were days and perhaps even a week at a time where he was bedridden, so he was doing what he could when could,” Martin explained, adding, “I couldn’t comment about his sex life.” Mangione also was discovered to have had a Goodreads account, where he reviewed Ted Kaczynski’s manifesto, which his former roommate claims was his own suggestion to read in the book club Mangione started. “We had a normal discussion, debate around it, nothing that stood out at the time. No anger, no special affinity towards it, just, you know, thought-provoking discussion,” Martin said. “The manifesto that we got our hands on cites that quite often. Do you feel strange now that this guy you lived six months with has now been picked up on murder charges?” Watters asked. “I feel strange because he was a great friend, and I would consider him a close friend, and that somebody who would assassinate somebody is completely incompatible with the person that I lived with, the person that I cooked meals with, the person that was part of book club and other activities,” Martin responded, adding, “It’s like two completely different human beings.” Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report” believes there might be something to Martin’s insistence that this is a “completely different human being” than the person he knew. “There is a mental health problem in this country that is maybe partly because of prescription drugs, but it’s also partly because so many people have been lied to by the media for so long. So many people have been taught all of the wrong things,” Rubin says. “So much of that is connected to what I think now is happening in the country,” he adds.
