The United States appears to be entering a golden age, as signaled by President-elect Donald Trump’s reelection last week, according to Daily Wire Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro. Shapiro spoke at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, on Wednesday evening on the significance of Trump’s election and what it means for the future of the United States.  “For the first time in a long time, I really feel like we are entering the best days of America,” Shapiro began his speech. “It does feel like we are entering a new golden age for the country for three specific reasons, because there are three things that make a golden age for a country or a civilization or even an individual in their life: liberty, strength, virtue.” While it may seem odd that the man leading the U.S. into its golden age is Trump, Shapiro said that the American people made the decision to pursue the “golden age” through liberty, strength, and virtue. “I don’t think the election so much was about President Trump – obviously, he’s a singular figure in American history – as much as it was about the American people who were just done,” Shapiro said. “We were just done. We were done with the age of stagnation. We were done with the age of moral confusion. We were done with an age that suggested that weakness was a substitute for strength, and that foolishness was a substitute for virtue, or that regulation was a substitute for liberty.” Shapiro said that the golden age will see an expansion of liberty that can be measured in economic terms. Liberty combined with property rights leads to innovation, and with Trump’s government cutting regulations, the U.S. will see a surge in investment and economic growth. Trump’s agenda will create an environment where the best innovators in the United States can succeed and thrive. “Liberty means we have to let geniuses be geniuses. In fact, we should help geniuses achieve their very best,” Shapiro said. “The world only has freedom and prosperity because of the United States of America. Only. Okay, it is the threat of military force, or the use of military force by the United States of America that keeps the world free safe and prosperous. It is simply that. That’s all. There is no one else. Okay, if the United States were to disappear tomorrow, the world would decay into darkness almost overnight.” On American strength, the first four years under Trump were the best American foreign policy “in my lifetime,” Shapiro said. The Daily Wire host attributed that foreign policy success to what he defined as the four pillars of the “Trump doctrine.” The first pillar of the Trump doctrine is that “America is governed by her interests.” The second pillar builds on the first and is a recognition that, because resources are scarce, the United States needs to calibrate its response wisely to global events to ensure its most critical interests are protected. The third pillar concerns military conflict: “If you are going to go [to war], you use every means at your disposal to achieve your interests.” MATT WALSH’S ‘AM I RACIST?’ NOW STREAMING ON DAILYWIRE+ During Trump’s first administration, the United States did not enter any new foreign conflicts, which could be attributed to what Shapiro defined as the fourth principle of the Trump doctrine: “The final principle is, you let everyone know the first three principles.” “The credible threat of use of force is the basis for all solid foreign policy, and if you express all of that, then you barely ever have to use military force,” Shapiro said. Finally, the third component of a U.S. golden age will be a resurgence of virtue, which Shapiro defined as “people acting like responsible human beings with actual real roles and duties in the world.” Virtue built on religion is a prerequisite for any society that wants to incentivize strong families. “If you’re not building a civilization around successful families, the civilization falls down,” Shapiro said. “These three things – liberty, strength, and virtue – these are what’s going to save Western civilization,” Shapiro concluded.

White suburban women — we drive minivans with “I used to be cool” stickers, we’re bffs with the Starbucks barista, and the over eager among us are presidents of our neighborhood associations, policing the shade of beige we just painted our front doors. However, until last week, we were first and foremost an expected pro-abortion vote for Kamala — otherwise known as the Democrats’ ace in the hole. Democrats put all their marbles in an uninformed identity politics box, and it blew up in their face. Opinions are formed by what people are experiencing. And white suburban women have experienced a whole lot of bad. From gas to groceries — prices are higher on everything, and women tend to feel the pinch more because we generally take on more of these everyday responsibilities.  The safety of our kids keeps us up at night. Between illegal immigrants raping and murdering girls and women, and boys hijacking our daughters’ sports teams, stealing their college scholarships and changing in their locker rooms — we’ve not had much sleep over the last few years. White suburban women started shifting toward Republicans two years ago, so it’s no big shock they voted for Trump. Unless of course you have a TV that’s permanently stuck on MSNBC, then you might be understandably confused. The shift began around the time of Covid when we were all watching in real time the egregious government overreach and liberties being taken with our children at the expense of our parental rights. Our kids were locked out of school, forced to wear masks and sit a made up six-feet apart when they finally returned.  While they were busy teaching our kids Critical Race Theory and inserting transgender policies in the classrooms, parents were labeled Domestic Terrorists for objecting and told to mind their own business.  It was so brazen that in 2021 Glenn Youngkin was elected the first Republican governor in Virginia in 12 years, thanks largely to help from white suburban women — no bastion of conservatism in Virginia. Add usurping parental rights to the laundry list of failures this administration left in its wake. Moms don’t forget when you mess with our kids. In the days leading up to the election, Julia Roberts made a disastrous “useful idiot” ad, assuring us weak women that we’re allowed to vote for Kamala, and we don’t have to tell our husbands. In the ad it may as well be 1900, except women can vote, and men aren’t really men, they’re the typical 21st century neanderthal buffoons that Hollywood typecasts. Clearly the ad never made its way to a focus group. Perhaps that sort of dysfunction is prevalent in Hollywood, where the average marriage lasts about as long as it takes the ink to dry on the marriage license. Out here in the suburbs, or in most of the country that painted the map red on election night, being jerked around on a leash by our husband doesn’t rank very high on our list of concerns because it’s not our reality.  Not like the girls we’re seeing murdered by illegal immigrants, the gender indoctrination of our kids, or the 28% sticker shock spike on groceries. Of course, I doubt these Hollywood mouthpieces have seen the inside of a grocery store in the last four years. But they could probably direct you to the closest abortion clinic. Kamala spent less than four months running for president, raised $1 billion and made it all disappear. Then she spent another $20 million she didn’t have — and the country still wasn’t with her.  If this were Vegas it would be called betting the house while it’s burning, but since it’s the Harris campaign it’s the fiscal absurdity we’ve become accustomed to the last four years.  One million dollars also went to Oprah — or Oprah’s studio, Harpo Studios — for Oprah’s endorsement.  Maya Rudolph, in a mirror image skit with Harris on Saturday Night Live leading up to the election said, “We know each other so well…” That wraps up Kamala’s entire campaign in one soundbite.  The Hollywood, entertainment, entitled celebrity class — those are her people. She made next to zero effort to exit her comfort zone and get to know women in the rest of the country, and it showed. Instead, she chose to throw cash around like she’s Oprah for the Who’s Who of the entertainment industry — her people — to do her job for her. It turns out the $20 million debt is also roughly the magic number the Harris campaign threw down the night before the election for star studded concerts in swing states. They hung their closing message to voters on the hopes that big name headliners like Jon Bon Jovi, Christina Aguilera, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga would lead them to the polls the next day. Bon Jovi probably has no bigger fan base than Gen X white suburban women — my generation. My friends and I grew up listening to them, we have their songs on our playlists, we work out to their music. The wife of a well-known transgender writer has been charged with murdering her father with an ice axe the night of Donald Trump’s election to the presidency. She then allegedly shattered the windows of the $800,000 Rainier Valley, Washington, home in which she and her father lived in what she claimed was an “act of liberation,” according to charging documents. Corey Burke, 33, who is married to transgender writer Samantha Leigh Allen, the author of “Real Queer America: LGBT Stories from Red States,” was discovered after the death of her father, Timothy Burke, 67 — who had health issues — “smiling and clapping covered in her loved one’s blood, cops said,” according to The New York Post, which added that Burke “allegedly confessed to investigators the next day that she killed her father with the ax and also by strangling him. She also admitted to biting her father while choking him, the docs alleged.” Timothy Burke “rarely left the house, where the two lived together, according to a Seattle police report … Officers discovered a silver-and-blue ice climbing ax on the floor, with blood on it,” the Seattle Times reported. “‘Corey stated (when) her father started arguing with her about the lights being shut off, that she ‘just freaked out,’ Seattle Detective Azrielle Brikey wrote.” MATT WALSH’S ‘AM I RACIST?’ NOW STREAMING ON DAILYWIRE+ Court documents reportedly state that Burke, with her face still covered with blood, told police that her father’s murder was meant to “help people change their attachment to their parents” and “had to happen today.” The Post reported that Burke was upset about the election results and was aware that Trump had won. She allegedly became upset because her father would not turn off the lights, then went upstairs, seized an ice pickaxe, came downstairs where she tripped her father, strangled him, and then used the pickaxe to bludgeon him. The Post continued: Burke then sat down next to her father and watched him die, then smashed all the windows in the house in what she described “‘as an act of liberation,’” officers reported. When the cops arrived, they found Burke “clapping … because she was so happy.” … Donald Trump’s election victory “overwhelmed” her and finally pushed this tension to the breaking point, she said. Charging documents stated that Burke whispered, “I killed him,” to one police officer.
