Rick Scott of Florida tweeted.The lawmakers' calls for the president's removal erupted in response to a special counsel report that indicated that Biden had memory issues."Our investigation uncovered evidence that President Biden willfully retained and disclosed classified materials after his vice presidency when he was a private citizen‚" the executive summary of the report states. "However‚ for the reasons summarized below‚ we conclude that the evidence does not establish Mr. Biden's guilt beyond a reasonable doubt." The report summary states that "we decline prosecution of Mr. Biden."It also states that "at trial‚ Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury‚ as he did during our interview of him‚ as a sympathetic‚ well-meaning‚ elderly man with a poor memory."The report states that‚ "In his interview with our office‚" Biden‚ "did not remember when he was vice president‚ forgetting on the first day of the interview when his term ended ('if it was 2013 - when did I stop being Vice President?')‚ and forgetting on the second day of the interview when his term began ('in 2009‚ am I still Vice President?'). He did not remember‚ even within several years‚ when his son Beau died."During remarks on Thursday‚ Biden declared that his memory is "fine." Regarding the suggestion that he had been unable to recall when his son Beau passed away‚ Biden asked‚ "How in the hell dare he raise that?" A family of four has been missing for a month‚ and police are asking for help from the public in their investigation. Family members said that 27-year-old Steys Yanira David-Funez and her husband‚ 30-year-old Ramon Ruiz Crisanto‚ told them they were travelling from Louisiana to Houston‚ Texas‚ on Nov. 30 with their two daughters. A relative said they drove the parents and their children‚ 4-year-old Jazzlyn Esther Ruiz David and 1-year-old Dara Ismeray Ruiz David‚ to a Greyhound bus station in New Orleans. The relative received a text message the next day from the family saying that they had arrived at their destination. That's the last time family heard from them. The family has sent them messages‚ but the parents have not responded. KPRC-TV reported that they obtained evidence of a bus ticket revealing that the family got back on the bus in Houston and then travelled to Monterrey‚ Mexico. The family said they have no idea why they would want to go to Mexico. The family had been living in New Orleans but was originally from Honduras. They were moving to Houston in search of a new employment opportunity. The family said that service to David-Funez's phone was cut off Dec. 15‚ and it had been last used Dec. 1. “We think about it every day‚ every night we can’t sleep thinking about her. It’s so sad‚” said David's grandfather Farid Miranda‚ who lives in Houston. David-Funez's father‚ Roberto David‚ said that before his daughter went missing‚ they would talk three times a day on a normal basis. Anyone with information that might be helpful to the investigation is encouraged to contact detectives with the New Orleans Sixth District.
