Whoopi Decries Penny Celebrating 'Not Guilty' Verdict, Hostin Decries America

In a victory for justice and common sense, subway hero and former Marine Daniel Penny overcame politically motived charges brought against him by far-left, pro-crime New York District Attorney Alvin Bragg. Of course, the liberal ladies of ABC’s The View were up in arms that an innocent man was found not guilty. On Tuesday, moderator Whoopi Goldberg ranted against Penny daring to celebrate his big win for justice in a bar. Meanwhile, not-so Sunny Hostin was lashing out at America for supposedly not having compassion and lying about Jordan Neely not threatening people. “Penny's defense was that he was de-escalating the situation, after Neely threatened other commuters. And he celebrated the verdict with his lawyer while Neely's family was mourning the loss,” Goldberg whined. Even though she was not the one facing the possibly of spending years behind bars for protecting people, Goldberg lectured Penny about how he should have jest went home instead of celebrating his freedom: I don't know. I don't know that seeing them celebrating in a bar made me comfortable, you know? I mean, you killed a guy. The man is dead, and maybe you just -- you take the celebration home. You don't do it outside but that's just me. Don't listen to anything I say. Not listening to Whoopi’s advice is the smartest thing to do. Goldberg even declared that the jury’s not guilty verdict was a “Failure on the part of the courts.” Later in the segment, Hostin released some hot air when she questioned, “How do we describe and subscribe danger and who is dangerous?”     She called Neely a “victim” and downplayed his threatening demeanor on the train by simply calling him “a former Michael Jackson impersonator” who “talked about being hungry and thirsty and said he didn't care if he lived or died.” “There is no evidence that he attacked anyone. There is no evidence that he put his hands on anyone,” Hostin argued before Alyssa Farah Griffin got her to admit “on this occasion.” Someone talking out loud about how they don’t value their life is pretty big red flag that they’re about to mess around and they care if they find out. Try saying that on an airplane, Sunny. Hostin completely ignored the fact that other people were helping Penny subdue Neely (with no curiosity about why they weren’t charged as accessories) and Farah Griffin’s notation that a mother had to shield her child in fear of Neely, she falsely claimed “he didn't approach anyone in a threatening manner.” She then lashed out America and questioned the lack of “compassion.” “And so, when you look at that and look at the result of what happened, my question is where is our compassion?! As a society, where is our compassion?!...Where is our compassion as a society?!” she screeched. In May of 2023, after this incident happened, Hostin insanely attacked the people on the train car for not forking over all their money to Neely. “Where was the humanity of anyone that was on that train?! I would have given him money! I would have tried to give him food! I would have tried to help!” she lectured. Joy Behar apparently woke up on Tuesday and self-identified as a self-defense and chokehold expert. She ranted about how the hold should only be used for “eight seconds” and wondered why they didn’t just sit on Neely like an egg (Click “expand”): BEHAR: It is supposed to last eight seconds! It’s something called a blood choke that he learned in the Marines. I think that seemed – That seemed longer than eight seconds. [Crosstalk] HOSTIN: He did for minutes. FARAH GRIFFIN: There were two other men with him. BEHAR: Let me just ask this question: so, if he had let go of the guy before he died. SARA HAINES: He probably would have survived. BEHAR: He would have survived and the other guy was on top of him and he was holding him down. Farah Griffin’s take was much more measured. She proclaimed Penny was not the “villain” of the story, but rather, “it is the City of New York who repeatedly fails people who could be a danger to themselves and others.” She even admitted that she and staffers of The View have felt unsafe on the subway. “I can say I've been on the subway and felt unsafe. People that I've talked to on our staff have been on the subway and felt unsafe,” she said. She also noted that Neely had “previously assaulted a woman.” Her “only criticism” was “have not let go sooner?” But she did add that she “wouldn't presume to know what's going through someone's mind when you're afraid and you're trying to react in the moment.” She also feared the case would cause others “to be afraid to help their neighbors.” Adding: “And I want to mention he is a Marine. I have a lot of dear friends who are Marines. It is in their nature to want to protect people. Did it go too far? I wish he had let go sooner. But I think that is built into who he is as a service member.”

Trump’s AI Czar Pick Draws Praise—Guess His Blunt Views on Censorship

President-elect Donald Trump’s pick for artificial intelligence czar has drawn praise from free speech advocates, including Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski, because of his outspoken criticism of Big Tech censorship. On Dec. 5, Trump announced on Truth Socialthat David O. Sacks, an investor, co-host of the All-In Podcast, and PayPal’s former chief operating officer, will be the new administration’s “White House A.I. & Crypto Czar.” Sacks will help direct administration policy for AI and cryptocurrency, which Trump described as “two areas critical to the future of American competitiveness.” Trump also stated that Sacks would defend free speech and fight online censorship. Sacks is a staunch advocate for the First Amendment, emphasizing in September that the “fight of our times is over free speech. The bad guys are always the ones trying to restrict it.” His pro-free speech stance has garnered widespread praise, with many applauding his appointment as the AI czar. FTC Commissioner Andrew Ferguson Puts NewsGuard on Notice

FTC Commissioner Andrew Ferguson Puts NewsGuard on Notice

It looks like the Federal Communications Commission under Brendan Carr won’t be the only agency looking to tear down the government-backed dystopian activities of website traffic cop NewsGuard. Federal Trade Commissioner Andrew Ferguson issued a statement Dec. 2 joining his colleague Commissioner Melissa Holyoak in urging the agency “to investigate online platforms for unfair acts or practices relating to their opaque, unpredictable processes for banning users and censoring content.” Ferguson stipulated that “we must vigorously enforce the antitrust laws against any platforms found to be unlawfully limiting Americans’ ability to exchange ideas freely and openly.” Part of Ferguson’s antitrust push includes cracking down on unlawful, facilitated advertiser boycotts of right-leaning outlets by leftist media sentinels like NewsGuard and the World Federation of Advertisers’ Global Alliance for Responsible Media (GARM) initiative. “NewsGuard ‘goes to great lengths to create the appearance of nonpartisanship and objectivity,” but it seems to give a free pass to deceptive and biased news coverage by major left-leaning outlets,” Ferguson rebuked. “NewsGuard is, of course, free to rate websites by whatever metric it wants. But the antitrust laws do not permit third parties to facilitate group boycotts among competitors.”  MRC Free Speech America released three studies of NewsGuard’s ridiculously skewed ratings system across three consecutive years consistently showing NewsGuard heavily favoring left-leaning publications like The New York Times, The Washington Post, the now-defunct BuzzFeed News (which infamously published the notorious Steele Dossier) over right-leaning media.  If any outlet runs afoul of the leftist dogmas undergirding NewsGuard and GARM’s worldviews, the two outfits target that outlet’s advertising revenue by scaring away advertisers. Ferguson didn’t mince words: “We must prosecute any unlawful collusion between online platforms, and confront advertiser boycotts which threaten competition among those platforms.”  The commissioner excoriated the censorship cartel between Big Tech platforms, government and outfits like NewsGuard as completely antithetical to the American concept of free speech: Censorship, even if carried out transparently and honestly, is inimical to American democracy. The Commission must use the full extent of its authority to protect the free speech of all Americans. That authority includes the power to investigate collusion that may suppress competition and, in doing so, suppress free speech online. We ought to conduct such an investigation. And if our investigation reveals anti-competitive cartels that facilitate or promote censorship, we ought to bust them up. Ferguson is not the only agency commissioner taking NewsGuard to task. FCC Commissioner Carr recently sent a letter citing MRC research on NewsGuard to the respective CEOs of Google, Microsoft, Meta and Apple accusing them of “improper conduct” in silencing Americans’ exercising free speech on political, religious and scientific issues. Carr specifically called on these tech giants to surrender any documents related to their work with “the Orwellian named NewsGuard” given its history of targeting right-leaning websites by bullying their advertisers.  A warrior for free speech on a number of fronts, President-elect Donald Trump nominated Carr to chair the FCC following MRC President Brent Bozell’s endorsement. Conservatives are under attack. Contact your representatives and demand that Big Tech be held to account to mirror the First Amendment while providing transparency, clarity on “hate speech” and equal footing for conservatives. If you have been censored, contact us using CensorTrack’s contact form, and help us hold Big Tech accountable.

Christian Olympic champion in women's wrestling prefers to compete against women only

A female Olympic gold medalist in wrestling has weighed in on men competing in women's sports, saying she prefers wrestling against men only "in practice."Tamyra Mensah-Stock, 32, recently traveled to the Tilles Center for Performing Arts in Brookville, New York, for the sixth annual FOX Nation Patriot Awards. Wearing glasses, dreadlocks, and a gold cross around her neck, Mensah-Stock stopped to answer whether she had ever competed against so-called transwomen athletes in freestyle wrestling."No, thank goodness. But I know a few people that have," she replied. When pressed about whether she might consider doing so in the future, Mensah-Stock hesitated."I'll just say this. I've wrestled plenty of guys in practice, and I will only wrestle them in practice — because wrestling men is very, very difficult even when they are 20 pounds smaller than me," she explained. The thought of competing against a man in her weight class then seemed to give her further pause. "If they're the same weight as me ..." she said, trailing off. She then came to a firm conclusion: "I just keep it in practice."'It’s just by the grace of God that I’m just able to even move my feet,' she explained. 'I just leave it in his hands.'Mensah-Stock first captured the hearts of Americans everywhere with her exuberant demonstration of patriotism immediately after she took the gold medal in women's freestyle wrestling at the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2021."I love representing the U.S. I freaking love living there," she gushed with a grin on her face and an American flag wrapped around her shoulders. "I love it, and I'm so happy I get to represent U-S-A!"Overcome with emotion, Mensah-Stock then expressed thanks to God, crediting him with giving her the talent and means to achieve her dreams."It’s just by the grace of God that I’m just able to even move my feet," she explained. "I just leave it in his hands. I prayed that all of the training and practice, the hell that my freaking coaches put me through pays off. Every single time it does. I get better and better. It’s so weird that there is no cap to the limit of what I can do.""I’m excited to see what I have next."Because of her love of country and her honorable representation of the United States at the Olympics, Fox Nation named Mensah-Stock the Most Valuable Patriot of 2021.In May 2023, she signed a contract with WWE to become a professional wrestler. She has not ruled out wrestling against men as part of that agreement. The FOX Nation Patriot Awards aired on the Fox New Channel on Sunday night.H/T: the Daily MailLike Blaze News? Detransitioner sues prominent child sex-change doctor who admitted to hiding results of her own study

Johanna Olson-Kennedy, the medical director of the nation's biggest youth sex-change center at Children's Hospital in Los Angeles and head of a $10 million National Institutes of Health initiative studying youth "gender medicine," recently suppressed the results of a years-long study following 95 children who were given puberty blockers. Olson-Kennedy, no doubt aware of the damage that Britain's landmark Cass Review had already done to the sex-change regime's credibility, told the New York Times, "I do not want our work to be weaponized." While she might ultimately prevail in concealing the results of the study, Olson-Kennedy cannot hide the fallout of so-called gender-affirming care in the wild, including the radical procedures she has personally executed. Clementine Breen, a 20-year-old drama student at the University of California, Los Angeles, filed a medical negligence lawsuit Thursday against Olson-Kennedy, the CHLA, and others involved with her "gender-affirming" mutilation. According to the complaint, Breen was a vulnerable, mentally compromised girl who had suffered multiple instances of sexual abuse and hailed from a family rife with mental health problems. Rather than subject her to psychotherapy and tests, she was allegedly "fast-tracked onto the conveyor belt of irreversibly damaging puberty blockers (age 12), cross-sex hormones (age 13), and 'gender-affirming' surgery (age 14.)" The lawsuit claimed that Olson-Kennedy and her team — who allegedly separated Breen from her parents at the first opportunity — "immediately and unquestioningly 'affirmed' Clementine as transgender, and at her very first visit, after mere minutes, Dr. Olson-Kennedy diagnosed Clementine with gender dysphoria and recommended surgical implantation of puberty blockers." 'Even if she could conceive and deliver a child, she would not be able to breastfeed because her health breasts were removed when she was only 14.' Olson-Kennedy — who has publicly argued against the need for psychological assessments for sex-change mutilations, compared teen girls cutting off their healthy breasts to taking the SATs, reportedly dished out sex-change hormones to kids as young as 12, and referred little girls as young as 13 for double mastectomies — allegedly did not bother with a mental health assessment, with asking Breen relevant questions about her mental health struggles or diagnoses, or with involving other health care professionals in her gender dysphoria diagnosis. The complaint alleged further that Olson-Kennedy also failed to furnish Breen with the necessary time or information to obtain consent, which appears all but impossible anyway when dealing with prospective minor sex-change patients — a troubling reality even World Professional Association of Transgender Health scientists have apparently admitted in private communications. Extra to blowing past the matter of informed consent and allegedly obtaining the parents' consent under fraudulent pretenses, the complaint claimed that Olson-Kennedy misrepresented Breen's "gender-identity history" in her letter of support to Breen's surgeon. Citing a full copy of the letter, the Economist reported that Olson-Kennedy wrote that Breen had "endorsed a male gender identity since childhood," which was not the case, according to Olson-Kennedy's own records. Neither the surgeon nor Olson-Kennedy responded to the Economist's requests for comment. After years of being pumped full of potentially sterilizing and bone-compromising drugs then having her healthy breasts removed by surgeons, Breen's mental health unsurprisingly declined. "It took Dr. Olson-Kennedy and the team at LA Children's a single visit to send Clementine down a life-altering, traumatic, body-disfiguring, and irreversibly damaging path of transgender medicalization," said the complaint. Although Breen has detransitioned and now identifies with her real sex, the complaint indicated that as a result of Defendants' so-called "gender-affirming care," Clementine now has deep physical and emotional wounds, severe regrets, and distrust of the medical system. She has suffered physically, socially, neurologically, and psychologically. Her voice has permanently deepened. Her female body did not develop, and she has a very masculine body structure. Her fertility is almost certainly destroyed from the combination of years on puberty blockers and testosterone. And even if she could conceive and deliver a child, she would not be able to breastfeed because her health breasts were removed when she was only 14. Breen told the Economist that her lawsuit was not just about "personal closure reasons" but making clear that rushed sex-changes on minors are not as rare as activists have suggested. "People are just brushing exactly what happened to me off as something that doesn't happen," said Breen. According to the medical advocacy group Do No Harm's Stop the Harm database, Children's Hospital, Los Angeles, has at least 265 sex-change patients; 165 surgery patients; and 103 hormone and puberty blocker patients. The organization reportedly claims that its youngest patients, as young as 3 years old, "receive no medical interventions, just counseling." The lawsuits against elements of the sex-change regime continue to pile up. Last year, Chloe Cole filed a suit against the Permanente Medical Group, Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, and Kaiser Foundation Hospitals, which performed, supervised, and/or advised transgender hormone therapy and surgical intervention on her between the ages of 13 and 16. The Dhillon Law Group and LiMandri & Jonna LLP similarly filed suit against Kaiser Foundation Hospitals and the Permanente Medical Group last year, alleging malice, oppression and fraud in the case of Layla Jane, a girl who underwent an elective double mastectomy at the age of 13 and hormone therapy. Luka Hein filed a lawsuit last year against the University of Nebraska Medical Center and numerous UNMC medical practitioners alleging that their "misleading descriptions and false claims" pertaining to sex-change mutilations were in violation of the state's Consumer Protection Act. Dr. Miriam Grossman, the board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist who authored the 2023 book "Lost in Trans Nation: A Child Psychiatrist’s Guide Out of the Madness," told Blaze News earlier this year that lawsuits will help make practitioners "think twice before they pick up a scalpel and remove the healthy breasts of a 13-year-old girl." "It could be the malpractice carriers will stop covering — if they have to pay out huge amounts, they may think twice about covering the malpractice of these surgeons," continued Grossman. Dr. Roy Eappen, an esteemed endocrinologist and senior fellow at Do No Harm, similarly suggested that lawsuits can help "make it expensive for them to continue with this kind of procedure." Christian soccer player who wrote 'I love Jesus' on Pride armband breaks silence, says his message is clear

English soccer player Marc Guéhi spoke publicly about his decision to write a religious message over a gay-pride armband, saying his message was also one of "inclusivity."Guéhi, who was born in the Ivory Coast, is a devout Christian who plays for Crystal Palace, a soccer team in England's top-tier Premier League.Guéhi agreed to wear a rainbow armband, which was issued to team captains in the league by Stonewall, a gay English charity that says it stands for "lesbian, gay, bi, trans, queer, questioning and ace (LGBTQ+) people everywhere."However, Guéhi sparked headlines when he chose to write "I love Jesus" on the armband, which is against the English Football Association's rules.'I think the message was pretty clear, to be honest.'Although the FA did not punish the player, it issued a warning about the guidelines surrounding armbands.A few days later, Guéhi spoke to Sky Sports about the controversy and provided an interesting statement."I think the message was pretty clear, to be honest," Guehi said, per the Daily Mail. "It was a message of love and truth, as well, and a message of inclusivity, so I think it speaks for itself."Guidelines state players must "wear an armband, which is simple and conforms to the requirements ... relating to slogans, statements, images, and advertising."At the same time, uniform rules state "any political or religious message" is forbidden and "disciplinary action may be taken" for any breach of the rules. This does not apply to messages that are inherent with the rainbow armband, it seems.'Marc did not offend anyone with what he wrote.'Guéhi was the only player to protest in a sense; however, another captain, Sam Morsy of Ipswich Town, refused to wear the rainbow armband as he is a practicing Muslim. He instead wore the typical black captain's armband without any special markings.Morsy did not receive a warning from the FA, however, causing Guéhi's father to speak out about the apparent double standard."I am saying, did he offend anyone?" John Guéhi said about his son. "I don't think so. I do believe in what the Bible says, Jesus loves everyone, and, in my opinion, Marc did not offend anyone with what he wrote.""I really don't see what is offensive and what the problem is," he added. The father called the rainbow armband an imposition of belief in its own right, saying the "LGBT community ... are trying to impose on others what they believe in."He continued, "At the end of the day, everyone has the right to an opinion. But if that opinion's aim is to offend you, then there is a problem, but if my opinion is just to express what I feel, then I think that is fine, and I don't think what Marc wrote on that armband is offensive."Aside from the very English remarks on offensive speech, the soccer dad said the focus should be on Morsy, instead."People should pay more attention to the person who refused to wear it.""Marc said 'Yes' and did the right thing by wearing it, but people are having a go at him for what he wrote, he accepted to wear the armband, he was just trying to balance the message."John Guéhi concluded by saying it is a "problem" that soccer players are being used as spokespeople for different beliefs."It is still a Christian country. Therefore, I don't see what is offensive."While Guéhi has avoided a fine, his Crystal Palace manager has affirmed that his team stands for "integration.""Everyone now is about integration, no discrimination and Marc as well," Oliver Glasner said. The manager added that he discussed the issue with the player, saying, "He's no child, he's an adult, he has his opinion, and we respect it."Like Blaze News?
