How to avoid Vault traps in Diablo 4

To open Wardwoven Chests at the end of Vaults to score more Tuning Stones in Diablo 4‚ you need to avoid the traps. It’s much easier said than done… unless you know these tips and tricks. Best tips and tricks to avoid traps in Diablo 4 Avoiding traps might be a slight skill issue in Diablo 4‚ but honestly‚ there are way too many traps in Vaults. If you’re using a melee build like me playing Barbarian‚ avoiding traps is very difficult. And it wouldn’t be an issue if Wardwoven Chests didn’t exist‚ giving you a reason to take as minimal damage as possible. Related: How to open Wardwoven Chests in Diablo 4 Here are the two tips I recommend: use a controller or turn on WASD movement. State Department Still Won’t Say Why It Doesn’t Classify Nigeria‚ India as Countries Violating Religious Freedom

State Department Still Won’t Say Why It Doesn’t Classify Nigeria‚ India as Countries Violating Religious Freedom

Secretary of State Antony Blinken determined that Nigeria and India do not meet the threshold to be designated as “countries of particular concern” under the International Religious Freedom Act‚ the State Department confirmed to The Daily Signal. Though the State Department is still refusing to designate either of those nations as a “Country of Particular Concern” or CPC‚ the State Department press office told The Daily Signal that it is concerned about some Nigerian state governments’ enforcement of blasphemy laws against the African nation’s citizens who are expressing their religious beliefs and about the attacks on religious minority communities in India. State’s response to The Daily Signal comes as international religious freedom advocates press the State Department to explain why the Biden administration excluded Nigeria and India from a list of nations with severe violations of religious freedom. In a letter first obtained by The Daily Signal‚ more than 40 religious freedom experts and organizations pointed out that since 2009‚ more than 50‚000 Christians have been killed in Nigeria‚ and 18‚000 churches and 2‚500 Christian schools attacked. They also cited India‚ where they say that between 200 and 400 churches and 3‚500 Christian homes have been attacked just since last May. A “Country of Particular Concern” can be so designated by the secretary of state if a nation is engaged in those sorts of severe violations of religious freedom under the International Religious Freedom Act of 1998. The IRFA defines “particularly severe violations of religious freedom as systematic‚ ongoing‚ egregious violations of religious freedom‚ including violations such as torture‚ degrading treatment or punishment‚ prolonged detention without charges‚ abduction or clandestine detention‚ or other flagrant denial of the right to life‚ liberty‚ or the security of persons.” Under then-President Donald Trump’s administration‚ Nigeria was designated as a CPC. President Joe Biden’s administration removed that designation‚ but it’s not clear why. State did not further clarify that to The Daily Signal. Religious advocates want the U.S. to do more to protect Christians in Nigeria. The State Department says: “We remain deeply concerned about the ongoing violence and insecurity impacting communities of all religions and beliefs in Nigeria…” EWTN’s @owentjensen asked about this. pic.twitter.com/Wrhs1NQVMz— EWTN News Nightly (@EWTNNewsNightly) January 25‚ 2024 Asked again on Thursday about the matter‚ a State Department official gave EWTN a similar response. Planned Parenthood campaign attacks virginity‚ claims it's a 'completely made-up concept'

Planned Parenthood may be best known for butchering the unborn and helping to sterilize minors — as its eugenicist founder intended — but a big part of its focus in recent years has been the distribution of leftist propaganda‚ both in the classroom and online. Apparently aware that its abattoirs and STD clinics are of little use to those saving themselves for marriage‚ Planned Parenthood has attacked virginity in its latest propaganda campaign. "Virginity is a completely made-up concept‚" a Planned Parenthood spokeswoman said in a video published on YouTube Wednesday. "It's a term that was created simply to control and shame people." While the video claims that the concept of virginity is "not as simple as it seems‚" up until this week‚ a virgin was simply understood to be a person who had not had sexual intercourse. Virginity‚ in turn‚ was the quality or state of being virgin. Where the English language is concerned‚ the specific term "virgin" has been used in reference to a "young woman in a state of inviolate chastity" and a "chaste man" since at least the Middle Ages‚ according to the Online Etymology Dictionary. In the millennia prior‚ Latin speakers used "virginem" to refer to a "maiden‚ unwedded girl or woman." Planned Parenthood stated as a "fact" in a corresponding blog post that "virginity is a social and cultural concept that is more important in some cultures and religions than in others. Many times‚ virginity has to do with a person being 'pure'‚ and this idea of purity is often used to control and shame people — mainly women." While cast by Planned Parenthood as a means to control women‚ virginity appears to be an effective way for both sexes to avoid a life controlled by debilitating sexually transmitted diseases and chronic sores. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's latest "Sexually Transmitted Disease Surveillance" report‚ there were well over 2.5 million reported cases of chlamydia‚ gonorrhea‚ and syphilis in 2021. Syphilis rates skyrocketed 74% over a five-year period. There were nearly 3‚000 congenital syphilis cases‚ which claimed the lives of 220 babies. There were also an estimated 32‚100 new HIV infections in the U.S. in 2021‚ 70% of which were among non-straight men "who reported male-to-male sexual contact." Things apparently did not improve among non-virgins in 2022‚ which saw 1.6 million cases of chlamydia; 648‚056 cases of gonorrhea; and 207‚255 cases of syphilis. Planned Parenthood's campaign against virginity leans heavily on relativistic thinking. "It's super important to remember that sex means different things to different people‚" Planned Parenthood claimed in its blog post. "If we only think about sex as penis going into vagina‚ we leave out a lot of people and a lot of experiences. At the end of the day‚ you get to say what 'having sex for the first time' means to you." The abortion group expanded on the need to relativize the term and sever the concept of sex from the procreative act between a man and a woman: "Society tends to define sex is a very narrow way: penetration. Penis into vagina. But where does that definition leave queer people? Or folks who can't or don't have penis-in-vagina sex?" Planned Parenthood stressed that society should altogether reframe the issue‚ focusing not on prospective clients' loss of innocence from acts of fornication but on the "empowerment" sex supposedly entails. "It's time to throw away the notion of losing your virginity‚" added the spokeswoman."When we make our own decision to become sexually active‚ we aren't setting ourselves up to lose anything at all." This is not the first time that Planned Parenthood has attacked the concept of virginity. Last year‚ the abortion outfit apparently ran billboards stating‚ "Virginity is a social construct." In a corresponding social media post the abortion outfit claimed‚ "Virginity comes from outdated — let's be real‚ patriarchal— ways of thinking that hurts everyone." ‘Our jaws DROPPED’: Why Kari Lake waited 11 months to release alleged bribery tape

A leaked recording between Kari Lake and Arizona GOP Chairman Jeff DeWit revealed that powerful people “back east” would stop at almost nothing to get her out of the Senate race. Lake tells Glenn Beck that she recorded it because after DeWit was persistent that he came over to talk to her instead of discussing what he had planned on the phone‚ she “just got a bad feeling about it.” Lake also was under the impression that there might be a threat‚ asking herself why he’d want to come to her door to talk to her. “I just thought if there’s a threat‚ if he’s gonna’ threaten me‚ I need to have this on recording‚” Lake says. After the recording was released‚ DeWit resigned. “His resignation letter was bizarre‚” Glenn says‚ adding‚ “Why would he resign and say I’m resigning because of her threat that she’s got more tapes?” Lake tells Glenn that there were no more tapes. “And that’s what is so disturbing about it‚ that he thinks that his behavior has been so unethical‚ that he thinks there’s worse stuff out there‚” she says. The tape itself was recorded 11 months ago‚ but Lake didn’t release it until now. “I didn’t want to release anything‚ and I also didn’t listen to it. I taped it because I was afraid there was going to be a physical threat‚ and when there wasn’t‚ I just kind of put the file away and never even dealt with it‚” Lake says. It wasn’t until recently that Lake relistened to the tape with her husband and daughter‚ horrified that it was “so much worse” than she remembered. “My daughter was shocked. She said‚ ‘Tell me that guy doesn’t work in politics anymore.’ I said‚ ‘He heads up the Arizona GOP‚’ and she said‚ ‘What are you going to do about it Mom?’” Lake recalls. “I didn’t really want to put that out‚ but how disappointing when your kids hear something like that‚ and then you just sit on it‚” she adds. How to escape the surveillance state: Secure text messaging

Editor's note: We're facing an unprecedented moment in American history. Our government and multinational tech monopolies are making it clear that we‚ the people‚ are the target of the monstrous surveillance state they've constructed. The deep state is attempting to jail people who share memes‚ Blaze Media journalists‚ and even the leading presidential candidate. It's time we take back control over our privacy and digital communications‚ and this guide will provide you with the tools to do that. This is an excerpt from a larger guide. Use secure text messaging If you use texting to discuss work‚ family‚ or other personal topics‚ it's essential to have a secure text messaging service. Apple's iMessage works well; it's encrypted‚ and the company claims it doesn't track or identify as much as others. The problem with text messaging is that AT&;T‚ Verizon‚ Apple‚ and Google can track your texts. They also link a lot of data back to you. So does WhatsApp‚ which Meta‚ formerly Facebook‚ owns. Meta collects incredible amounts of user data and does not respect your privacy. WhatsApp is part of Facebook. It collects data and metadata and shares it with Meta‚ so a lot of data‚ including location‚ purchases‚ and other identifiers‚ are linked to you. I would not use a Meta application for messaging. The messaging service I recommend is Signal‚ which states that it does not collect data or link data to you. It uses end-to-end encryption‚ meaning your messages cannot be read if they are intercepted. Signal does not use ads or trackers or collect your data. Signal is free‚ which goes against my earlier advice‚ and I wish there were a paid option‚ but the company is a non-profit 501(c)(3) and states it has no connection to large tech companies and won't be acquired by one the way Facebook acquired WhatsApp. Signal also offers encrypted group messaging and encrypted voice and video calling. Edward Snowden and journalist Laura Poitras endorse it. Signal gives better privacy‚ but it is a platform you have to join and get others to join you. This is less convenient than phone texting‚ which can go from number to number regardless of the service. Other private options include: Telegram. Wire has personal and business accounts and has paid versions‚ which I like. There is also a new chat application called Pravica‚ which is built on blockchain technology‚ that I am testing. It is still a bit rough but promising. Remember this: There is no perfect privacy. Signal‚ Telegram‚ and everything else can be hacked. Every application and digital technology has trade-offs. Still‚ the lack of a perfect solution doesn't mean we should do nothing.

The 10 Trumpiest movie characters of all time

The 10 Trumpiest movie characters of all time

Donald Trump was a movie star‚ of sorts‚ long before he camped out in Democratic heads. The real estate mogul appeared in films including “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York‚” “Zoolander” and “Two Weeks Notice.” That’s when Hollywood found him an essential part of Big Apple culture and a larger-than-life soul. Looking back‚ Trump’s persona has permeated the film landscape for decades. No‚ these characters didn’t have his particular shade of skin. Nor did they share his wispy locks or media mastery. There’s still something … Trumpian … about them that’s undeniable. Warner Home Video Take Al Czervik‚ the character inimitably played by Rodney Dangerfield in 1980’s “Caddyshack.” Yes‚ Al’s rich like Trump‚ but it’s how he comically crashes polite society that rings a bell. Al gets under the skin of Ted Knight’s character‚ but his boorish antics are ultimately liberating at the stuffy Bushwood Country Club. Did we mention Al’s real estate chops? Universal Pictures What about Melissa McCarthy’s breakthrough role in 2011’s “Bridesmaids?” Her Megan Price is a bull in a china shop‚ storming through life on her own terms with her heart on her sleeves. She’s big‚ bold‚ and unapologetic‚ yet her friends forgive the lack of decorum not unlike MAGA nation looking the other way from Trump’s less admirable traits. Megan doesn’t mind being different. It’s who she is‚ and she’s not about to change. Columbia Pictures Trump’s inability to hold anything back reminds us of Billy Bob Thornton’s black comedy “Bad Santa.” Imagine a little one sitting on Trump’s knee‚ asking for what he wants for Christmas. He might answer like Thornton’s Willie Soke‚ giving the tyke the real deal about both Kris Kringle AND the lack of resources required to fulfill the lad’s list. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Trump’s signature 'do is the target of every late-night host‚ and it does defy gravity in curious ways. It’s reminiscent of Bill Murray’s combed-over coif in 1996’s “Kingpin.” Murray co-stars as a bowling legend Ernie "Big Ern" McCracken‚ a bowling legend with a Trump-sized ego. Ern also drives his opponents to distraction with his charm and humor. In “Kingpin‚” that means Randy Quaid’s Amish bowler gets so flustered by Ernie’s insults he punches a wall‚ breaks his hand‚ and takes himself out of the bowling competition. The real Trump makes many foes step on rakes of their own volition. Marvel Studios Robert Downey Jr. revived his career and jump-started the Marvel Cinematic Universe with 2008’s “Iron Man.” Cultural observers compared his Tony Stark character to‚ who else‚ Elon Musk. Yet re-watching the original film shows some similarities to Trump. He does what he wants‚ sleeps with whoever he wants‚ and makes everyone play by HIS rules. So very‚ very Trump. Paramount The real Trump crashed the political scene in 2015 and followed his gut to outlast his primary opponents. It’s not unlike Axel Foley using his street smarts to upend a drug-smuggling operation. Eddie Murphy’s Axel initially alienated officers Taggart and Rosewood (John Ashton and Judge Reinhold)‚ but by the end of the film they were working alongside him (think Sens. Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio with the real-life Trump). 20th Century Fox Another on-screen president predicted Trump’s penchant for speaking like his voters‚ not the elite class. Yes‚ President Camacho from “Idiocracy” sprinkled profanity throughout his stump speeches‚ much like Trump does when hammering home a point (or punch line). Terry Crews’ character was meant to show the country’s intellectual decay‚ not the need for a plainspoken candidate. Warner Bros. Some Trumpian characters arrived on purpose‚ and that’s why they failed to leave a mark. The excellent Pedro Pascal turned in one of his worst performances in the dreadful “Wonder Woman 1984.” The sequel casts him as a crooked businessman named Max Lord‚ complete with floppy hair and an oversized ego. The film’s creative team danced around the Trump comparisons‚ but it didn’t matter. The film proved a massive disappointment considering how charming the original 2017 film “Wonder Woman” proved. Universal Pictures “Back to the Future’s” Biff Tannen‚ our hero’s arch-nemesis‚ also had Trump firmly in mind 40-odd years ago‚ according to co-writer Bob Gale. The comparisons were weak enough to make it a long-standing mystery‚ and the film trilogy didn’t stop the stories cold to make the Trump comparisons clear. Thankfully. Orion Pictures The wildest Trump-like film connection could be the “Terminator” saga. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s iconic Model 101 killer robot pursues his target at all costs. No one can stop him‚ and even when he loses an eye or a limb he keeps … on … going. The real Trump has survived the worst media attacks in modern history‚ his own lack of discipline‚ and‚ to date‚ a flurry of indictments. Yet he’s still going to represent the GOP this fall in the Trump-Biden rematch barring a robot from the future coming back to stop him. They do have one big difference between them. Schwarzenegger famously vowed‚ “I’ll be ba-ack.” Trump‚ by comparison‚ has never left.

Ignore the Supreme Court

Ignore the Supreme Court

Question: If the Supreme Court ordered the governor of Texas to permit trans surgeries performed by drug mules strung out on fentanyl‚ for the victims to then be human trafficked into the transsexual porn market‚ should the Texas governor obey that order? Now that I have your attention‚ let me first check all the celebratory boxes before I get to my main point. I am thrilled with Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s line in the sand to the U.S. Supreme Court and all tyrannical feds‚ a letter that some are comparing to the Declaration of Independence. I am relieved that early reports about Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton missing the mark on the legal defense of the right of a state to defend its borders were incorrect. I am amazed that 25 Republican governors across the nation as well as GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump have rallied so quickly to come to the aid of Texas‚ its governor‚ and its people (and therefore the American people because it's not just about Texas’ border). And finally‚ don’t even get me started on Ted Cruz’s Civil War muttonchops. Sublime. But (and you probably saw this coming) ... We are not a nation of laws‚ and we never have been. We are a nation of political will‚ and we always will be. With all of that good news‚ there are still some Conservative Inc. blue checks who simply cannot be bothered to smell the free air. They immediately threw up the caution flag after the Supreme Court rendered its 5-4 decision against Texas‚ contending that no order was actually given for Texas to follow. This brings me back to the question I posed at the outset‚ because as important and even existential as this border fight is‚ what we are fighting for right now goes well beyond a single issue. In fact‚ the fight is about all the issues we hold dear. Because the truth is‚ the Supreme Court has no explicit constitutional authority to issue any orders at all. Or maybe I misread Alexander Hamilton in Federalist 78 saying the judicial branch has “neither force nor will.” My goodness‚ please tell me we really don’t have people on our side rushing to defend our enemy’s stupid premise of judicial supremacy‚ instead of joining what could be the most consequential constitutional moment of our lives! For whether or not Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is running for president‚ what is currently on the table for civic debate is nothing short of the governance he made enormously popular in the Sunshine State beginning in 2020 while so many others floundered. That’s when he reintroduced to a starving and desperate nation a foundational American principle: the doctrine of the lesser magistrate (or "interposition"). It is why we have branches of government. It is why we have a 10th Amendment that says whatever power has not been explicitly bestowed upon the federal government goes to the states. It is why constitutional amendments must get approval from a supermajority of the states. It’s why we even have juries "of our peers." All of that flies in the face of the idea that anything an unelected judge or federal bureaucrat wants to order must be enforced by a captive nation‚ which then has no choice but to submit. Nonsense! It is officially “don’t mess with Texas” time! But I’ve been fooled so many times before by those who claim the banner of the constitutional republic (if we can keep it) yet turn out to be nothing more than cheap cucks that I’m having a hard time believing we have what it takes for this vital moment. Look around‚ though‚ people. Has the 101st Airborne unleashed hell by parachuting into Austin to charge Greg Abbott with insurrection? Are the Navy SEALs swimming the Rio Grande as we speak upon orders issued by the U.S. Supreme Court? Nope. Once again‚ Hamilton in Federalist 78 is instructive: “It may truly be said the courts have neither force nor will‚ but merely judgment and must ultimately depend upon the aid of the executive arm for the efficacy of their judgments.” Efficacy is a key word here. Because it clearly denotes the power of the executive to go full Ron Burgundy and tell the court to its face: “I don’t believe you.” The Supreme Court’s legal ruling is total anti-constitutional garbage. Thus‚ Abbott isn’t enforcing it. If the justices have a problem with that‚ we have these things called elections (for now)‚ and they can take it up with the ultimate lesser magistrate — “We‚ the people” — at a later date. If the people wanted us to enforce the court’s trash‚ they can take us out like the trash through elections. But in this country‚ the people formed the Constitution‚ and the people are supposed to have the final word on its meaning‚ not unelected judges and bureaucrats. America’s founders didn’t pledge their "lives‚ fortunes‚ and sacred honor" to go from fighting red coats to black robes. The signers of the Declaration of Independence who would later see their plantations lit on fire or covered in blood from battle in protest of "no taxation without representation" never intended for the result of that to be “whatever spews forth from the bowels of totally depraved elites who aren't directly accountable to the people is now irrevocable law.” So if it is starting to sound to you like the courts don’t have nearly the power you thought they had‚ we might have a chance. We’re not a nation of laws‚ and we never have been. We are a nation of political will‚ and we always will be. It’s time for 30 million Texans to tell five Supreme Court justices to get bent and remind all of us about the most important lesson of all: We could have been doing this the entire time on any and every issue that matters.
