‘I Don’t Believe it’: Glaude Insists Trump Elected Because America Is Racist, Not Economics

Appearing as a guest on Friday's The 11th Hour, MSNBC contributor Eddie Glaude charged that racism was the real reason Donald Trump was reelected president and raged over fellow liberals implicating economic issues instead. The race-obsessed analyst even tied in Trump supporters allegedly finding it "confusing" to see "racially ambiguous children on Cheerios commercials." Host Stephanie Ruhle argued that some voters supported Trump because of inflation: "There are a lot of people who voted for Donald Trump who didn't listen to the rally and who don't know who Tucker Carlson is, but who are super-unhappy about inflation -- that they can't afford their lives, and they voted for him. And they're not buying into fascism."     Glaude, a Princeton University professor, asserted that Trump voters were afraid that "whiteness" was "under threat" as he responded: I get that, but I think they have an idea, though, that whenever the incoherence of the country comes into full view, the tricky magic of falling into place -- falling behind a notion of whiteness that can hold off all of the -- the reason why all hell is breaking loose economically, right, is because government is putting its thumb on the scale and redistributing -- redistributing resources from deserving people to undeserving people, right? He added: "So there's this sense, right, that whiteness, right, is under threat -- the demographic shifts the country is in -- all these racially ambiguous children on Cheerios commercials are confusing the hell out of me." On the liberal news network where it's unusual to see two participants actually have a debate, the two did go back and forth this time; with Glaude refusing to believe that Americas were feeling the pain of Bidenomics: RUHLE: Eddie, a lot of people voted because their life's too damn expensive, and it was here, and (inaudible) GLAUDE (jumping back in): You're telling me, Stephanie, that all of these people who believe that their lives -- that bread is too high and eggs are too high, that they voted for a convicted felon -- a guy who said we can grab the P -- RUHLE: I think that a lot of -- GLAUDE: They voted for this guy. Ruhle continued to press the point: I'm not defending it, but I think there are tons of people that don't pay attention to -- and I'm not defending it -- don't pay attention to politics at all, but while we live in the most prosperous country in the world, people are saying, "Life's not fair -- I'm not doing well -- my son's still living in the basement -- I can't seem to get a job -- I don't like the status quo -- I'm voting for something else and a different person." Glaude then concluded his rant, and ended up letting salty language slip out before slapping his hand over his mouth: Steph, I love you to death, but I do not believe that. I cannot believe that. And the reason I think you believe it is because you don't want to believe that that's what's really motivating them. That's always the case! We -- people don't want to believe what the country actually is because if they believe it, they're going to have to confront what's in them. I don't believe that. They voted for a crook -- a person who they know is stealing from -- just doing everything to undermine the so-called country that they love. And then they're telling us the BS that it's economics. We know that's not true! We know it's not true, and we got to raise out kids in this shit. Oops! The transcript is below. CNN Liberal Melts Down When Confronted With Facts by Conservative Latino

Monday afternoon’s CNN News Central featured a surprising guest in conservative political strategist and film afficionado Giancarlo Sopo being brought into the fold to debate liberal CNN political commentator Maria Cardona on the surge in support for President-Elect Trump and the Republican Party. Sopo came ready to rumble has he repeatedly took Cardona to task with thereality that, like the rest of the country, Hispanics are “sick and tired of D.C. elites” dictating to them what to believe or deem important. It started off with Cardona laying down her skepticism for a pre-election poll that co-host Brianna Keilar noted found “53 percent of registered Latino voters favor[ing] Trump’s mass deportation plan,” claiming Trump’s plan was never a focus of the campaign and thus the Latinos who voted for Trump did so because of the economy and will be horrified by Trump’s immigration plans. Sopo succinctly replied polling actually showed “immigration was actually one of the top issues” and that it was “very clear that Hispanics — no matter which polls you look at, favor a strong border policy because it’s just common sense.” “We cannot have simply — we simply cannot have millions of people rolling around this country who have been unvetted. Many of whom have criminal backgrounds,” he continued, even predicting there wouldn’t be “any kind of major backlash to these — to any kind of border enforcement.” Cardona promptly lost her cool, shouting at Sopo that he “know[s] so much better than what you are spouting right now” because their “community is going to go through pain” and “cruelty.” She even went onto outline the groups of people she believes would be deported, which conveniently sorted into the left’s lazy, ugly, and almost discriminatory view of Hispanics: WATCH: @GiancarloSopo TRIGGERS Maria Cardona on CNN in debate over mass deportations. Cardona says Trump will go after your local “delivery guy,” the people who serve as nannies for America’s children, restaurant workers, and people who “pick fruits and vegetables”! Sopo: “I… pic.twitter.com/n6s1DiP53D — Curtis Houck (@CurtisHouck) November 11, 2024 Sopo finally got a word in, stating the obvious that “the Hispanic community is sick and tired of D.C. elites pulling on our heartstrings” that “have been tugged at so hard that they’ve snapped.”     “We’re sick and tired of people...so they can feel better at cocktail parties...[W]e’re telling people loud and clear, you do not speak on our behalf...[T]hese are the same people that...encouraged their party to call us Latinx. They are the same people who lobbied Joe Biden to apologize for calling Laken Riley’s murderer an illegal immigrant,” he added as Cardona tried to shout him down over his point about Riley’s alleged murderer. While Cardona framed Latinos as at least in part riddled with identity politics, Sopo argued these so-called advocacy groups “do not speak for our community” and “are way to the left of your average Latino” because “we are worried about prosperity,” “not...about pronouns.” Pressed by co-host Boris Sanchez on Trump increasing his Puerto Rican support, Cardona conceded “growth in the percentages of support among the Latino community for Donald Trump,” but again denigrated the I.Q. of Hispanics by lamenting they fell victim to and believed a “massive...misinformation” campaign by Trump supporters spreading “lies and conspiracy theories”: CNN’s Maria Cardona blames Latinos falling victim to “massive...misinformation and lies and conspiracy theories” for why so many of them flocked to Trump and the GOP: “There were absolutely growth — there was growth in the percentages of support among the Latino Community for… pic.twitter.com/xHN4XCjEsR — Curtis Houck (@CurtisHouck) November 11, 2024 Sopo was only given a few seconds to respond with time having run out, but he again provided the facts on this tiresome “excuse”:     I don’t think that makes any sense, especially if you’re trying to single it down to Spanish language misinformation. You know why? Because most of the Hispanics who are moving towards the GOP are English dominant. So, I think Democrats can make up that excuse every couple of cycles to make themselves feel better and save face with donors, but it’s just not the case. Megyn Kelly’s FIERY message for Taylor Swift, Beyonce, and Julia Roberts: 'You effed around and found out'

Megyn Kelly’s FIERY message for Taylor Swift, Beyonce, and Julia Roberts: 'You effed around and found out'

One group Democrats can always count on to show their support for even the most radical candidates and policies is celebrities. And this election season was no different. From Taylor Swift and Beyonce to Jimmy Kimmel and psycho Mark Hamill, Kamala Harris’ list of celebrity endorsements was long. As it turns out, however, nobody cared. Taylor Swift’s cringey Instagram post where she praised Harris and Walz and threw a jab at JD Vance was for naught. Beyonce’s “As a mother, I demand the right to kill children” speech at Harris’ Houston rally was for naught. In fact, every Harris celebrity endorsement was for naught because Donald Trump won in a landslide victory. Americans didn't care what celebrities had to say. Dave Rubin plays Megyn Kelly’s hilarious message for celebrities following the epic red sweep that just changed the trajectory for the nation. “One of the big losers? The celeb crowd,” she began. “Beyonce? Loser. Oprah? Huge loser. J.Lo? ... Loser!” “We would like to know what happened between you and Ben Affleck, what happened between you and P. Diddy, exactly what you're doing to your butt, and how you keep your skin so glowy. That will end the list of things we care about,” Kelly said regarding Jennifer Lopez. Her message for Swift was even more brutal. “Taylor Swift, sorry you effed around and found out. You do not have unlimited influence. The young girls love you because you sing songs about men who break up with you, and they can all relate to that. No one gives two s**** about your political opinion, so you should take it and stuff it,” she lambasted, adding that Swift’s next song should be called “Stuff It.” Kelly also roasted Julia Roberts for narrating a Harris-Walz ad centered around a woman who secretly votes opposite of her husband’s political views. Calling Roberts a “husband stealer,” Kelly said, “Maybe don't be the voice of the ad in which we talk about women betraying their husbands.” “Of course she’s right,” says Dave. “We've had it with the celebrities; we don't care about these people. You want to talk about your skin regimen or your Botox or whatever, fine, fine. But stop bludgeoning us with your bulls*** because you've been to parties with child molesters.” To hear more of Kelly’s epic celebrity roast, watch the clip above. Rep. Pramila Jayapal brazenly admits her hypocrisy on Senate rules after Trump election 'trifecta'

Washington state Democratic Rep. Pramila Jayapal didn't mince words when she admitted her complete hypocrisy over changing Senate rules after the devastating election for Democrats. Far-left Democrats have called for senators to get rid of the filibuster rule in order to allow a simple majority to pass legislation instead of having to secure some support from the opposing party. Critics on the right and others cautioned against lowering standards for bipartisanship in Congress. 'Clearly not enough voters knew what Democrats were gonna do to make their lives better.' Jayapal was asked by Jennifer Bendery of the Huffington Post whether she still supported changing the filibuster rule after President-elect Donald Trump chalked up historic gains in the election. "Am I championing getting rid of the filibuster now when the [GOP] has the trifecta? No. But had we had the trifecta, I would have been," she responded. Trump has been declared the electoral vote victor and will likely be declared the popular vote winner. Republicans have regained control the U.S. Senate while getting closer to increasing control of the House of Representatives. "If we had had control of the trifecta and gotten rid of the filibuster to pass minimum wage, to pass paid sick leave," Jayapal continued, "things that are passing on ballot measures that are so popular… then I think we would have built some trust with the American people." She didn't even pretend to acknowledge the brazen hypocrisy of her position on the filibuster. Jayapal added that it would have been justified for Democrats to get rid of the filibuster "because we have to show that the government can deliver."Jayapal also offered her explanation for the devastating election losses for Democrats. "Clearly not enough voters knew what Democrats were gonna do to make their lives better," she replied, "particularly poor and working class Americans across this country." She went to say Democrats were eager to mount an effort to defeat Trump's appointments, which she said were extreme. "I think we’re gonna continue to see a number of people that have disturbing histories being appointed to many of these positions," Jayapal added. "We’re gonna have to figure out how we fight that best." Jayapal is the chair of the Progressive Caucus in Congress. Like Blaze News? Masked male caught on video allegedly trying to kidnap 6-year-old boy while victim holds his father's hand on sidewalk

A masked male was caught on video allegedly trying to kidnap a 6-year-old boy while the victim was holding his father's hand on a sidewalk in Brooklyn over the weekend.WABC-TV reported that the 28-year-old male was seen on surveillance videos yanking the boy so hard while he held on to his father's hand that the victim's feet came off the ground — but the the dad and son continued to hold hands tight.'I don't think it was a hate crime, but it was scary.'The father is seen on the clip quickly turning around and shoving the culprit, and the incident appears to end at that point. You can view a video report here about the incident, which includes a pair of surveillance clips showing the suspect grabbing the child. The incident occurred in front of multiple cameras on a block of Kingston Avenue in Crown Heights around 3:30 p.m. Saturday while the father and son were on their way to a Sabbath gathering, WABC said.Incredibly, the boy's mother told the station that the suspect is actually their neighbor. What's more, the couple noted to WABC that they've seen the suspect before and said he's never said or done anything unusual."He'd always hold the door, he always was nice," the mother added to the station. The mother also told WABC she's heard from neighbors that something else was going on with the suspect, and he'd had a bad day. She added to the station that while members of the Jewish community in the neighborhood already are on edge with a citywide increase in anti-Semitic incidents since October 7 of last year, the mother doesn't believe it was a hate crime."I don't think it was a hate crime, but it was scary," she told WABC. "It was like a scary incident. When you live in New York, you don't expect someone to attack a six-year-old and take him away from his parents."The mother noted to the station that she's proud of her husband and son for the way they held on to each other and didn't let go.She added to WABC that her boy will be getting therapy, and her family is hoping justice is served in court. The station said Stephen Sowe is charged with attempted kidnapping, harassment, and endangering the welfare of a child.Anything else?In mid-October, a male was charged with a hate crime after he allegedly hollered, “I’m gonna kill you f***ing Jews!" during Yom Kippur in a predominantly Jewish neighborhood in Brooklyn. Police said Muhammad Hashim's alleged outburst was directed at a 43-year-old man in Borough Park, according to the New York Post. Like Blaze News?
