Hey‚ I was inspired by Becky Zarling‚ an MRF Assistant rep and a hardworking member of ABATE of Wisconsin. She pronounced in her newsletter that members of ABATE would attend every motorcycle event in Wisconsin‚ meet bikers and hand out fliers regarding legislation‚ MRF efforts and ABATE of Wisconsin activities. I was moved and motivated. I asked Becky if I could create an important MRF flier about the biggest threat to our lifestyle. Could she add it to her leaflets and make it available to riders all over her state? She said yes‚ but there were some guidelines she must follow. First the flier had to be motorcycle centric and secondly‚ and of course‚ the wording must be approved by the MRF Board. There you have it. Texas is arresting illegal immigrants for trespassing in Shelby Park as the state continues to defy the Biden administration’s demands that it cede control of the park back to federal authorities.  Last week‚ Texas took control of Shelby Park‚ a 47-acre public park in Eagle Pass that has seen large influxes of illegal immigrants. Texas said it was necessary for it to control the park because federal officials were compounding the border crisis while the Biden administration has said the state has impeded Border Patrol.  Texas Department of Public Safety Spokesman Chris Olivarez announced on Wednesday that state troopers had started arresting illegal immigrants in the park.  “Under the authority of [Governor Greg Abbot’s] Border Disaster Declaration‚ [Texas DPS] Troopers are arresting illegal immigrants for criminal trespass at Shelby Park in Eagle Pass. Troopers are enforcing criminal trespass on single adult men &; women. The State of Texas will maintain a proactive posture in curbing illegal border crossings between the ports of entry‚” he posted on X.  Under the authority of Gov. @GregAbbott_TX’s Border Disaster Declaration‚ @TxDPS Troopers are arresting illegal immigrants for criminal trespass at #ShelbyPark in Eagle Pass. They had attempted to cross into the park through barbed wire Texas had set up and were arrested and jailed for criminal trespass.  The Department of Homeland Security sent a cease-and-desist letter to Texas on Sunday demanding that they cede control of Shelby Park‚ which the Texas National Guard took control of as part of the state’s crackdown of illegal immigration.  In response‚ Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said that the state would not give up control of the park. “Texas will not surrender to Biden’s destructive open-border policies. Attorney General Paxton will continue to defend Texas as it uses its constitutional authority to defend state territory‚ sovereignty‚ and citizens‚” Paxton said on Wednesday‚ responding to the DHS letter.  CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP “Rather than addressing Texas’s urgent requests for protection‚ President Biden has authorized DHS to send a threatening letter through its lawyers. But Texas has lawyers‚ too‚ and I will continue to stand up for this State’s constitutional powers of self-defense. Instead of running to the U.S. Department of Justice in hopes of winning an injunction‚ you should advise your clients at DHS to do their job and follow the law‚” Paxton wrote in a response letter.  The Biden administration has said it will use all legal measures to take back control of the park. 

Two Madonna fans from New York are suing the pop singer for delaying her Brooklyn concert two hours past the scheduled start time‚ a move which they say caused undue hardship and stress. Michael Fellows of Brooklyn and Jonathan Hadden of The Bronx are upset in part because they had to be up early for work the next day. That made them especially aggravated when the 65-year-old star didn’t take the stage until close to 11 p.m. at her December 13 performance at Barclays Center. The show was part of the singer’s “Celebration Tour.” The two men filed the lawsuit Wednesday in Brooklyn federal court‚ per The New York Post. The document states that their tickets showed a start time of 8:30 p.m. but Madonna didn’t start her portion of the show until around 10:45 p.m. The lawsuit accuses Madonna‚ entertainment company Live Nation‚ and hosting venue Barclays Center of “unconscionable‚ unfair‚ and/or deceptive trade practices.” Fellows and Hadden further noted that they were “confronted with limited public transportation‚ limited ride-sharing‚ and increased public and private transportation costs at that late hour‚” side effects which were blamed on the late start time‚ the outlet noted. “In addition‚ many ticketholders who attended concerts on a weeknight had to get up early to go to work and/or take care of their family responsibilities the next day‚” the document says. The plaintiffs are seeking unspecified damages and hope to create a class action suit as other performances have also started later than advertised. In 2019‚ Madonna was named in a class action lawsuit which sounded very similar to this latest complaint during her “Madame X” tour.   “Ticketholders [have] to work and go to school the next day‚ which prevent[s] them from attending a concert that would end at around 1:00 a.m.‚” the suit said‚ per a PageSix report at the time. Plaintiff Nate Hollander accused the pop star of having a “long history of arriving and starting her concerts late.” Madonna responded to the accusations at the time‚ telling a crowd of concert attendees at the Colosseum in November 2019‚ “Here’s something you all need to understand‚ and that is … a queen is never late.”
