Wall of Facts: Jacqui Heinrich Blasts KJP on MULTIPLE Biden WH Lies About the Border

Towards the end of Wednesday’s White House press briefing‚ Fox’s Jacqui Heinrich confronted Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre with not one‚ but two bald-faced recent falsehoods offered up by the Biden administration about the border crisis that Republicans want to cut the number of Border Patrol agents and that Texas officials were responsible for the death of three illegal immigrants in the Rio Grande. Having caught the National Security Council’s John Kirby as unable to “name a single lawmaker who has called to reduce the number of Border Patrol agents” during the January 4 briefing‚ Heinrich cut right to the chase with Jean-Pierre: “Why are you repeating this false claim that Republicans voted to reduce the number of Border Patrol agents even though The Washington Post gave the administration three Pinnochioes for that?”     Hilariously‚ Jean-Pierre immediately doubled down: “So‚ we don’t believe it’s a false claim. Our statements were very direct here. Last year‚ House GOP voted — voted — and not only did they vote for it‚ they touted — they touted their Limit‚ Save‚ Grow Act. That’s the act.” Heinrich stepped in to point out House Republicans insisted their plan to cut government spending “would never — never affect Border Patrol” and “clearly stated at that time that Border Patrol‚ also veterans benefits‚ and entitlements would never be impacted”. But‚ given the liberal media’s penchant for both covering for the White House’s lies and cosplaying grocery store gossip magazines over the various Trump trials‚ there was no reason for Jean-Pierre to change her lying ways (click “expand”): HEINRICH: They were still appropriations for that and they vowed — JEAN-PIERRE: Well‚ let me — HEINRICH: — that it would never — JEAN-PIERRE: — but they — they limit — HEINRICH: — never affect Border Patrol. JEAN-PIERRE: — they — they — they voted for and touted it‚ right? This is an act. And this would have forced the elimination of 2‚000 Border Patrol agents. That’s what this act that they touted‚ that they voted for in the House. So‚ that was their proposal. And that was what — HEINRICH: They clearly — JEAN-PIERRE: — they voted for back in May. HEINRICH: — they — they clearly stated at that time that Border Patrol‚ also veterans benefits‚ and entitlements would never be impacted by any of the reductions. And‚ also‚ the bill never had any appropriations in it.  Heinrich blasted this as “the White House applying White House math to a bill that never had any appropriations” when even drafters of the legislation “vowed that it wouldn’t affect CBP.” Channeling her colleague Peter Doocy‚ Heinrich fired off this hardball about Team Biden’s credibility: “[T]o voters‚ don’t you think they know the difference between‚ you know‚ what is a truthful statement and what is spin and is it insulting to them to keep saying it when it was — it’s just not true?” Jean-Pierre chuckled before asserting “[o]ne thing that the President does not do is insult vote — insult voters or American people to be more exact”. Fact-check: Pants on fire. See here‚ here‚ and here for a minuscule sample. Jean-Pierre stuck to her talking points about the GOP wanting to see and “tout[ing]” their desire to see the “elimination of 2‚000 Border Patrol agents” Heinrich moved to the next Biden border crisis falsehood about Texas‚ which she noted flies in the face of “saying...the White House‚ the President doesn’t want to...insult the American people”: “[W]ill the administration then amend its separate statement that implied that Texas officials were responsible for the deaths of three migrants when‚ in fact‚ they had nothing to do with it?” She gave the facts‚ which were that the three migrants “had already been dead for an hour by the time Mexico told anyone in the U.S. about it and the administration admitted as much in the court filing.” As a result of this lie‚ Heinrich footnoted that “a number of outlets were forced to issue corrections and editor’s notes because of that White House statement.”     Restating her thesis that the White House might want to “amend that statement‚” Jean-Pierre insisted Heinrich be more “sensitive” since “[t]hree people died” in a “devastating” and “heartbreaking situation.” Sure enough‚ since she won’t be held accountable by Heinrich’s colleagues in the room and elsewhere in the press corps‚ Jean-Pierre did what she did in the first exchange by doubling down with the insinuation circumstances could have changed if it weren’t for law enforcement sent to the border by big meanie Governor Greg Abbott (R-TX). Thankfully again‚ Heinrich let Jean-Pierre have a few minutes before she interjected to call out the spin (click “expand”): JEAN-PIERRE: I want to take a step back and — and just — as you’re talking about our statement — look — as I — as I mentioned‚ a woman and two children died. They drowned near Eagle Pass‚ which is‚ as I said‚ devastating. And that Texas officials blocked Border Patrol from accessing the area. That’s what was happening at that time. Our statement is consistent with DOJ’s filing. As the DOJ filing said‚ there was an ongoing emergency situation that Border Patrol was blocked from accessing. There were other migrants in the — in the water as well. HEINRICH: That’s a separate thing‚ but the ongoing — JEAN-PIERRE: But I’m just saying there was — HEINRICH: — emergency situation was separate. JEAN-PIERRE: — there was an ongoing — HEINRICH: And this — the White House statement implied — it says — the White House statement says that Texas official blocked U.S. Border Patrol from attempting to provide emergency assistance. JEAN-PIERRE: To — there were other — there were other migrants in the water as well. HEINRICH: Then why wasn’t that included in the statement — JEAN-PIERRE: There were other migrants in the water as well. HEINRICH: — that — if that’s what you were referring to? JEAN-PIERRE: But the — our — our statement does — is very much consistent with DOJ filing. Anything else specific you want to know about that? I would certainly refer you to DOJ. Former ESPN sportscaster explains how he was ejected out of RV into traffic on highway: 'By the grace of God‚ I'm still here'

A hospitalized man explained the circumstances that led to his bizarre ejection from a recreational vehicle while his wife drove on a California highway. Video showed the moment a vehicle swerved out of the way to avoid running into Cordell Patrick‚ a former ESPN sportscaster who was on vacation with his wife. They were driving through the city of Newhall when the accident happened. Patrick says that he had gotten out of his seat to go the bathroom in the recreational vehicle when he noticed that his wife had fallen asleep at the wheel and they were drifting dangerously toward the center median. “I noticed my wife had dozed off‚ so instead of going straight‚ we were headed toward the median‚" he said. "I tried grabbing the steering wheel‚ but before I could grab it we already had impact.” The motorhome slammed into the median‚ and the impact sent Patrick through the driver's window onto the highway. “All I’m thinking about is that I’m going to get hit by a car‚” he said. “I’m on one of the busiest freeways in L.A. County so what was going through my mind was‚ ‘I’ll be dead shortly.’” He realized he had survived after he came to a stop on the other side of the median. He said that many good Samaritans stopped to provide him aid. “I just dragged myself and then I leaned up my back against the median until help could come and help came pretty quick‚” Patrick said. He suffered numerous injuries. "I got road rash on 60% of my body‚ broken ankle‚ broken bones above the ankle‚ broken bones below my knee‚ broken toes‚" he said‚ in addition to 17 stitches‚ a dislocated shoulder and lacerations to his head. His wife was unhurt‚ and no other driver was hurt in the incident. Their beagle who was in the vehicle was also uninjured. The motorhome however‚ was mostly destroyed. He went on to say that he believes God intervened to save him. "I am blessed‚ it's a God thing‚ man‚" he said. "It's strictly a God thing. By the grace of God I'm still here‚ man!" He says he is going to start a podcast about his experience. “It was divine intervention‚” Patrick concluded. “If you didn’t think there was a higher power before this‚ I’m a living witness and I’ve got a living testimony to tell.” Here's the interview with Patrick: Like Blaze News? 10-year-old raped in Harlem after meeting man online‚ NYPD releases photos of suspect

The New York Police Department released photographs of a man in connection to an alleged rape of a 10-year-old girl that met the predator on an online app. Police said the man met with the girl in person near Third Avenue and East 122nd Street in East Harlem at around 9 p.m. on Jan. 6. He allegedly raped the girl and then fled on foot. Paramedics transported the girl to be evaluated at a hospital and receive treatment. She was said to be in stable condition. The photographs released showed a man in a Nautica hooded sweatshirt and gray sweatpants. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the NYPD‚ which said the investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made. Police did not disclose which online app the child used‚ but experts have issued warnings to parents to monitor their children's online activity. In one heinous case‚ Matthew Christian Locher admitted to searching for victims online who were suffering from mental problems‚ including suicidal ideation‚ depression‚ and anorexia. “Locher groomed his victims to engage in self-mutilation and instructed a victim struggling with an eating disorder to starve herself‚ ordering her to film herself cutting her body when she disobeyed him‚” read a statement from the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Prosecutors said the child predator ordered one of his underage victims to set her Ohio home on fire in an attempt to kill her parents so that she could run away to California and become his sex slave. Locher was sentenced to 27 years in federal prison. While there have been 44 incidents of rape reported to the NYPD so far this year‚ that number is down from 71 incidents that were reported during the same period last year. 3 football fans found dead after gathering at house to watch Chiefs game. Their families are outraged at investigation.

The families of three men found dead outside of a home near Kansas City are demanding answers after police indicated there were no signs of foul play. The three friends were all their thirties and had reportedly gotten together to watch an NFL football game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Chargers on Jan. 7 at a home in suburban Northland. Their families began to get worried when they didn't hear back from any of the trio and they couldn't get a hold of the owner of the home where they were to meet. Two days later‚ on Tuesday‚ the fiancée of one of the men went to the home and broke in in order to get inside after no one answered at the door. She reportedly called police after finding a body on the back porch. Kansas City police found the other bodies of the two men at the home after they investigated. The homeowner reportedly told police that the three died as a result of the freezing temperature in the area. Police confirmed to NewsNation that they were not investigating the deaths as a homicide‚ meaning they had not yet found evidence of foul play. Jennifer Marquez‚ the mother of 37-year-old victim David Harrington‚ says the families of the men are outraged. “I’m furious. Everybody is furious‚” she said. “Nobody believes this story. None of his friends‚ none of the families‚ none of us believe it.” The other victims were identified as 38-year-old Ricky Johnson and 36-year-old Clayton McGeeney. Police said their bodies were found in the backyard of the home. Police said they are awaiting cause of death results from the medical examiner's office. They have made no arrests and say that the homeowner is cooperating with the investigation. Marquez said her family will never be the same now that her son is gone. “It’s a huge loss. He’s everything‚" she said. "He’s a brother‚ he has a sister and a brother. They’re missing him and they are broken hearted. They will never see their brother again." A relative of Johnson set up a GoFundme account to help pay for funeral costs. Here's a news report about the incident: Like Blaze News?
