Lead CBS, NBC Shows Ignore BOMBSHELL Report on FEMA Discriminating Against MAGA

Late Friday, our friends at the Daily Wire uncovered a massive Biden-Harris administration scandal that blew away the liberal media’s claims that FEMA was fully in control of and taking care of communities affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. Thanks to Leif Le Mahieu, we learned a FEMA supervisor instructed employees to avoid homes in Florida with Trump signs. Of course, this wasn’t of any interest to the flagship morning and evening newscasts of CBS (CBS Mornings and the CBS Evening News/CBS Weekend News) and NBC (Today and NBC Nightly News). On cable, CNN, Fox News, Newsmax, and NewsNation all numerous mentions throughout the weekend and into Monday. Le Matieu explained in his ground-breaking story that “a federal disaster relief official ordered workers to bypass the homes of Donald Trump’s supporters as they surveyed damage caused by Hurricane Milton in Florida, according to internal correspondence obtained by The Daily Wire and confirmed by multiple federal employees.” He added the supervisor in question, Marn’i Washington, “told workers in a message to “avoid homes advertising Trump” as they canvassed Lake Placid, Florida to identify residents who could qualify for federal aid” and sources said it added up to “at least 20 homes with Trump signs or flags...from the end of October and into November[.]” Washington was fired with FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell insisting this “reprehensible” action “departed from [FEMA’s] values” of “helping people before, during and after disasters, often sacrificing time with their own families[.]” Mahieu had the receipts, including multiple sources speaking out, pictures of homes skipped, and screenshots from the surveys FEMA workers were filling out of affected homes. But given this intrepid reporting came from a conservative website, ABC and PBS pretended this scandal suddenly appeared out of thin air or was something Criswell admitted to on her own. On Saturday, PBS News Weekend (the weekend version of News Hour), anchor John Yang gave it 20 seconds: The FEMA administrator said today she’s fired a worker for advising her survivor assistance team not to go to homes with signs supporting Donald Trump. This was in the aftermath of September’s Hurricane Helene. In a statement, Administrator Deanne Criswell said the former employee’s actions were “reprehensible” and vowed to take steps to make sure it doesn’t happen again. ABC broke the “Big Three” network blackout a day later with a one-minute-39-second report on World News Tonight. Anchor Linsey Davis kept it vague: “FEMA is investigating a former employee for what it calls reprehensible actions. A supervisor was fired after telling her team that was helping hurricane victims not to go to homes with Trump signs.”     Correspondent Perry Russom kept it vague by claiming it’s unknown which state this official allegedly made this demand and what their name was (click “expand”): RUSSOM: Tonight, a federal investigation at FEMA, after the agency fired a supervisor for what's being called “a clear violation of FEMA's core values and principles to help people regardless of their political affiliation.” FEMA administrator Deanne Criswell says the unnamed supervisor ran a “Survivor Assistance Team” and told her workers not to go to homes with yard signs supporting President-Elect Donald Trump. CRISWELL [on 10/09/24]: I think we're going to have a lot of impacts and people that are going to need our help, sir. RUSSOM: Criswell is not naming the supervisor, nor saying when or where the incident happened, but Governor Ron DeSantis says it was in Florida, calling it “targeted discrimination.” Two major hurricanes hitting Florida this fall, including Hurricane Milton. The category three storm killing at least 16 people in Florida early last month.  Russom alluded to the blowback FEMA had received during this year’s hurricane season, whining Trump had questioned “FEMA's integrity” and Criswell had to spend time “denying Trump’s claim.” Ignoring this disconnect, Russom was already out of time, concluding with a tone of Criswell being in charge and nothing about anyone doing anything to investigate whether this was an isolated incident: “Criswell is calling the supervisor's actions reprehensible. She is also not saying whether or not the workers did what they were told to do and skip homes.” By Monday morning, the overnight CBS show CBS News Mornings had host Michael George deliver a 26-second brief, citing the South Florida Sun Sentinel. The flagship CBS Mornings had an allusion to this Monday, but buried it in the show’s “Eye Opener” (which we at NewsBusters leave out of time counts given its informal role as a highlight reel vs. actual news reporting). Worse yet, they used a single-sentence soundbite from ABC overnight anchor Andrew Dymburt on World News Now. College Republican group says conservative students have faced 'intimidation and hate speech' since election

Boston College Republicans called for students and faculty at the school to oppose "intimidation and hate speech" aimed at conservative students since the election. 'You can't love your country only when you win. You can't love your neighbor only when you agree.' Social media has been choked with images and videos of liberals expressing their anger and shock at President-elect Donald Trump's stunning victory in the Electoral College and likely the popular vote as well. Unfortunately, some of that frustration has expressed itself in "hate speech" against conservative students. "The last few days have seen escalating attacks on conservative students at Boston College in the wake of President Donald Trump's reelection," the statement from Boston College Republicans read. "Conservative students have been targeted on social media and on campus, being told that they condone rape, sexism, racism, and every other 'ism' in the English dictionary. We will no longer sit idly by while unhinged people openly defame the character of students who voted for President Trump," it continued. The letter went on to call for unity and quoted President Joe Biden's speech after the election: "You can't love your country only when you win. You can't love your neighbor only when you agree." The statement was endorsed by the Massachusetts College Republicans. "We as the leaders of the BC Republicans call upon everyone in the BC community to avoid shutting each other out and dehumanizing those who disagree. Instead, we encourage respectful political discussion," the group continued. "The country has spoken, and it is time for our community to come together around our shared values as Americans," the letter concluded.Like Blaze News? Democrat governors vow to resist Trump as massive deportation operation looms

Democrat governors have come out since Donald Trump's presidential victory to declare they will resist the incoming administration on issues they deem to be out of bounds.Their declarations come as President-elect Trump has promised to carry out his massive deportation operation on day one of his administration. The deportation operation is in response to the border crisis that was created by the policies of the Biden-Harris administration.Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey was one of the first to indicate she will do everything in her power to prevent Trump from deporting illegal immigrants from her state."Every tool in the toolbox has got to be used to protect our citizens, our residents, and protect our states and certainly to hold the line on democracy and the rule of law as a basic principle," she added.Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker also weighed in.“[To] women seeking reproductive health care. Immigrants searching to work hard for a better life. LGBTQ Americans looking for welcome and protection. And people with disabilities whose civil and human rights are under attack. Over the years ahead, we'll do more than just protect against the possible reversion to an agenda that threatens to take us backward,” Pritzker said, according to NBC Chicago. 'If you're not going to help us, get the hell out of the way, because we're going to do it.'"To anyone who intends to come take away the freedom and opportunity and dignity of Illinoisans, I would remind you that a happy warrior is still a warrior. You come for my people, you come through me," he added.California Governor Gavin Newsom convened a special session in the state legislature to "safeguard California values and fundamental rights" before Trump takes office next year."The special session will focus on bolstering California legal resources to protect civil rights, reproductive freedom, climate action, and immigrant families," the statement said."The freedoms we hold dear in California are under attack — and we won’t sit idle. California has faced this challenge before, and we know how to respond. We are prepared, and we will do everything necessary to ensure Californians have the support and resources they need to thrive," Newsom explained.New York Governor Kathy Hochul announced she is going to work with Attorney General Letitia James to "protect the fundamental freedoms of New Yorkers in preparation for President-Elect Donald Trump’s second term" and "to address potential federal legal threats to reproductive freedom, gun safety laws, and other key issues."In response to the governors' declarations, incoming border czar Tom Homan told Fox News on Monday, "I've seen some of these Democrat governors say they're going to stand in the way [of deportations] and make it hard for us. A suggestion: If you're not going to help us, get the hell out of the way, because we're going to do it." Like Blaze News? AOC's supporters reveal why they split their ticket for Trump and down-ballot Dems

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a far-left New York Democratic U.S. representative, asked her social media followers over the weekend why some of them chose to split their ticket, voting for both President-elect Donald Trump and down-ballot Democratic candidates. In a landslide, Ocasio-Cortez won her re-election race for New York's District 14 against Republican opponent Tina Forte last week. According to the Associated Press, Ocasio-Cortez clinched nearly 69% of the vote. Despite the Democratic candidate's sweeping victory, District 14 also leaned toward Trump by one of the most significant margins in New York City.'Trump is authentic. Harris was grown in a lab. People can tell.'"People who support both Trump & me OR voted Trump/Dem, tell us why," Ocasio-Cortez asked her eight million Instagram followers. The congresswoman shared some of the unexpected responses, and a few common themes emerged: Voters wanted a change candidate, appreciated Trump's authenticity, and were unimpressed by Vice President Kamala Harris. One respondent stated, "It's real simple… trump and you care for the working class."Another respondent explained that they "wanted change," so they voted for Trump and Democratic candidates for the remainder of the ballot "to put some brakes."Other followers explained that they lost trust in establishment candidates from both parties."I feel like Trump and you are both real," one follower wrote. "I feel that you both are outsiders compared to the rest of DC, and less 'establishment,'" another individual responded.A third person stated that "action & progress" are greater than "stagnation & excuses.""Both of you push boundaries and force growth," the social media user added."You are focused on the real issues people care about," another person wrote. "Similar to Trump populism in some ways."One respondent did not vote for Vice President Kamala Harris because Harris did not prioritize fixing the economy, adding that "when she talked [about] it she didn't have a plan."Echoing this sentiment, another shared that Harris "wasn't the choice of the people," she "couldn't interview," and she had "no clear policies."Another contributor stated that Trump "speaks of war as something that is bad," while the Democratic Party has become "the party that supports war."In response to Ocasio-Cortez's poll, a senior Democratic aide on Capitol Hill told the New York Post, "If either party wants a sweep, they have to figure out how to harvest authenticity.""That's who wins. Trump is authentic. Harris was grown in a lab. People can tell," the source added, noting that the Democrats had a lot of messaging misses with voters."The Democratic Party wrote the symphony of Donald Trump — they even conducted it," the source continued. "All he had to do was take a bow."Like Blaze News? Bypass the censors, sign up for our newsletters, and get stories like this direct to your inbox. Sign up here!

The Adventurers is a DnD inspired fantasy RPG that’s out now in early access

Fantasy RPGs are everywhere you look these days, but that doesn’t mean they’re all repetitive clones. Some choose to take things in surprising directions or combine multiple elements that make for a fresh-feeling experience, and The Adventurers looks to be a newcomer that falls into that latter category. With top-down turn-based action, a pixel art aesthetic, and an expansive fantasy world that is inspired by the DnD universe, it’s just launched into early access on Steam.
