by Pepe Escobar, Strategic Culture: On the political Richter scale, that was a killer – literally. What was supposed to be a Liberal Totalitarian Show was brutally, unceremoniously, swept out of the park – any park. Even before Election Day, critical thinking was aware of the stakes. BREAKING: President Trump Selects Surprise BADASS Chief Of Staff

BREAKING: President Trump Selects Surprise BADASS Chief Of Staff

President Trump has already made one of the most important decisions of his second term as President, weeks before he’ll take the oath of office and officially become the 47th President of the United States of America — he has chosen badass firebrand Susie Summerall Wiles as his White House Chief of Staff. The thing I love about Susie Wiles is that you can’t tell by looking at her whether she’s going to break your kneecaps or bake you a casserole. pic.twitter.com/1uNsfPSdj2 — Richard – Thought Criminal (@nowiknowmyabcs) November 8, 2024 She’s known as the Ice Maiden, because she can be extremely calculated — as cold as ice.  She has the look of a sweet Grandma; sometimes.  Is she going to bake you a pie?  Or is she plotting the downfall of a political power-player as a strategist of the opposition?  That’s the thing with Susie Wiles… you just don’t know.  And that means her enemies are always guessing; off-balance, unsure, and vulnerable. So while the lunatic Fringe is out there shaving their heads because of the mysogenistic patriarchy, President. Trump makes this badass woman chief of staff for the White House. First time a woman has ever held that position. Congratulations Susie Wiles! Feel silly yet ladies? pic.twitter.com/YEnnkOi45g — AmericanaRedHead (@Americana45_47) November 8, 2024 If that “Summerall” maiden name sounds familiar, it should.  She’s the daughter of the legendary NFL broadcaster George Allen “Pat” Summerall, who according to a story on Fox News, credits his daughter Susie for saving him from an alcohol addiction back when he sat side by side calling games with Madden. Wiles is the daughter of late legendary NFL broadcaster Pat Summerall. Summerall was an NFL champion kicker and the lead color commentator alongside John Madden on CBS for more than two decades. During his broadcast career, Summerall admitted to becoming an alcoholic. In his 2006 biography, he recounted how his daughter, Susie, staged an intervention for him and helped him break addiction. “Dad, the few times we’ve been out in public together recently, I’ve been ashamed we shared the same last name,” Wiles said in a letter that was read during the intervention, according to Summerall’s 2006 autobiography, “On and Off the Air.” Summerall wrote that the words of his daughter inspired him to take steps to address his addiction. President Trump has already been noted as making history with his choice of Susie Wiles as Chief of Staff — the first woman to ever hold that position.  But he also made a very strategic move by doing so, lessening the clout of one Kevin McCarthy who was reportedly vying for the position in Trump’s upcoming administration. #BREAKING: President Trump has selected Susie Wiles, his 2024 campaign manager, to be White House Chief of Staff This is a HUGE blow to Kevin McCarthy, who was vying for this incredibly powerful position. THANK GOD McCarthy’s been shoved to the side. pic.twitter.com/SPPRjWt0tP — Nick Sortor (@nicksortor) November 7, 2024 According to a report in the New York Post, President Trump credits Wiles as one of the primary reasons he was able to mount such a monumental political comeback, calling her an “integral part” of both his 2016 and 2020 campaigns — lavishing praise on the “behind-the-scenes operator” that she is known to be. Wiles, nicknamed the “Ice Maiden,” is widely credited as being one of the chief architects of Trump’s victorious presidential campaign. “Susie Wiles just helped me achieve one of the greatest political victories in American history, and was an integral part of both my 2016 and 2020 successful campaigns,” Trump, 78, said in a statement. Wiles, 67, managed the Trump-Vance campaign alongside senior adviser Chris LaCivita. A behind-the-scenes operator, she kept a very low public profile throughout the soon-to-be 47th president’s third White House bid. One of the democrats’ favorite attacks often levied against President Trump was his alleged misogyny and overall dismissive nature towards individuals of the opposite sex (I used the word “opposite” there to denote that only two exist — see what I did just then?).  Unfortunately for those who tried to wield that attack, those blows have landed completely flat.  Not only did President Trump named a STRONG & INTELLIGENT WOMAN (Mark Cuban, you’re a dork), to the position of his top campaign press secretary, but he has now named another STRONG & INTELLIGENT WOMAN to arguably the most important post in Washington DC, second only to the President himself. And Mark Cuban said Trump didn’t have strong intelligent women around. Susie Wiles is a highly competent person who happens to be a woman. First ever female Chief Of Staff Congrats to her with the new role. pic.twitter.com/6uZQLdkm6g — Martin Matthews (@1MartinMatthews) November 7, 2024 Hilariously, Susie Wiles hit back at Mark Cuban’s ridiculous comments herself… posting this back in October to her account on X. I’m told @mcuban needs help identifying the strong and intelligent women surrounding Pres. Trump. Well, here we are! I’ve been proud to lead this campaign. Complimented by @Linda_McMahon,Chair for Transition Policy and @LaraLeaTrump,RNC Co-Chair. pic.twitter.com/X7y9q3WsG8 — Susie Wiles (@SusieWiles) October 31, 2024 If you want a glimpse of the “other” firebrand I mentioned earlier that President Trump has let loose upon those who foolishly thought to attack him with lies — check out the clip of Karoline Leavitt completely demoralizing an ABC host in this story from just a few days ago!  This is not unlike the inner fire that seems to burn within the Ice Maiden herself — which is probably why they both ended up working for President Trump! WOW: Karoline Leavitt, President Trump’s Press Secretary, Eviscerates ABC News Host! Susie Wiles is no stranger to the world of politics -- she has orchestrated multiple winning campaigns, and according to that Fox News story I referenced earlier, she worked for Reagan during his 1980 campaign, and then in the White House after he won. In the late 1970s, Wiles was hired as an assistant to Summerall's old teammate on the New York Giants, someone who went on to have a long and successful career in the House of Representatives and later be nominated for vice president. That was none other than the late Jack Kemp, one of the chief backers of former President Ronald Reagan's supply-side economics theories and architect of the Regan tax cuts. Wiles went on to work for Reagan himself as a scheduler for his 1980 presidential campaign and later the White House. She left Washington, D.C., for Florida in the 1990s and served as chief of staff to John Delaney, the mayor of Jacksonville. She also worked as the district director for Rep. Tillie Fowler in Northeast Florida. Delaney heaped praise on Wiles in an interview for Politico Magazine. "I’ve described her as a political savant — just otherworldly sort of political instincts," he said. Wiles continued to be a fixture of Florida politics for decades, eventually helping a health care executive named Rick Scott become governor in 2010. Scott is now Florida's junior senator and this week is celebrating his re-election to a second term. Check out this video of President Trump calling Susie Wiles to the front during his victory speech the other day!  Even in the moment of exuberance when the victory was finally assured, Susie Wiles was to be found far off to the back of the crowd -- on stage, but off to the side; sort of like the proverbial velociraptor that you DON'T SEE... the one that actually gets you, to reference wisdom from that old tome, Jurassic Park. She's a longtime political strategist, she's tough, and she's incredibly resilient.  She also scares the living daylights out of President Trump's political enemies.  Who better to control the daily rhythm of the next Trump administration, intimately orchestrating the White House and the President's plan to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN?  I can think of no one better than the badass that they call the "Ice Maiden".

The James Madison Option: Vice President JD Vance as Senate Majority Leader?

The James Madison Option: Vice President JD Vance as Senate Majority Leader?

In the midst of preparing for President Trump to take up the reins of power, some questions are more important than others.  Near, if not at the very top, of that list is the question of who takes up the mantle of the Senate Majority Leader. There are currently three Republicans vying for the position: John Cornyn (who is favored to win it, according to many), John Thune (who I despise no less than I do John Cornyn for their RINO-ESQUE track records), and Senator Rick Scott — who I generally consider the best pick of the bunch by a long shot, and if I’m reading the room right, so does President Trump and the majority of his supporters. But leave it to the likes of Charlie Kirk, Senator Mike Lee, and Glenn Beck to throw a completely different possibility into the mix.  What if the Senate decided to go with the James Madison option?  Here’s a clip of Charlie Kirk explaining to Glenn Beck the idea that Senator Mike Lee is floating as an option for the next Senate Majority Leader. Vice President @JDVance as Senate Majority Leader???@charliekirk11 tells me, “John Adams presided over the US Senate as Senate Majority Leader 200 years ago as Vice President of the United States. I think JD Vance should be President of the Senate and become Senate Majority… pic.twitter.com/Gwk7Z9C9vT — Glenn Beck (@glennbeck) November 8, 2024 According to a story in Newsweek, either John Thune, John Cornyn, or Rick Scott will likely become the next Senate Majority Leader.  The Newsweek story also mentioned Senator John Barrasso of Wyoming, but while he holds a senior position among his constituents in many respects, he is not actively seeking the leadership of the Senate. South Dakota’s John Thune, current Senate minority whip, is a potential front-runner for the GOP leadership position. The 63-year-old was first elected to office in 2005, and has defied Trump’s requests on multiple occasions. Cornyn served as the GOP’s whip before Thune and is a close ally of Trump. In a statement on Wednesday, the Texas conservative said that Democrats had “broken the Senate, but I’m confident our new conservative majority can restore our institution to the essential role it serves in our constitutional republic.” Florida U.S. Senator Rick Scott, a Trump-backed candidate who was elected for a second term this week, threw his name into the hat for the next Senate majority leader on Wednesday, telling Fox News, “I’m going to win.” The alternative idea of having JD Vance serve as the Senate Majority Leader as floated by Mike Lee and Charlie Kirk — which instantly sounded like a great idea to Glenn Beck — definitely has a precedence in that of John Adams. Vice President @JDVance as Senate Majority Leader???@charliekirk11 tells me, “John Adams presided over the US Senate as Senate Majority Leader 200 years ago as Vice President of the United States. I think JD Vance should be President of the Senate and become Senate Majority… pic.twitter.com/Gwk7Z9C9vT — Glenn Beck (@glennbeck) November 8, 2024 As Charlie Kirk pointed out during the conversation with Glenn Beck, John Adams presided over the Senate as Vice President of the United States.  Not to mention, according to Charlie Kirk, this was Mike Lee’s idea — a Constitutional lawyer almost without equal in my estimation… so my initial guess is this is a completely viable option.  And check out what I found from all the way back in July while researching for this story: Who else wants Vice President JD Vance to go full John Adams as president of the Senate? pic.twitter.com/4lBOia6pvI — Mike Lee (@BasedMikeLee) July 16, 2024 Of course, nothing amazing like this ever happens — right?  (Except for 3 days ago, one of the biggest “things” we’ve ever seen happen in the political sphere…. HAPPENED.)  Could we be in for another “big thing” to happen as well? Could JD Vance end up holding the position of Senate Majority Leader under the next Trump presidency, thereby ensuring that the Senators who attempt to thwart President Trump’s agenda from within the Capitol rotunda never see the inside of important Committee meetings? My biggest worry is that Cornyn, who admittedly owns the record for most funds raised to fund the sweep of Republicans wins we just witnessed… is likely to win this thing, primarily for that reason.  According to a report today in The Blaze, Sen. Josh Hawley just came out as Cornyn’s first public endorsement for the leadership position. Sen. Josh Hawley of Missouri announced his support for Sen. John Cornyn of Texas on Friday in the race to replace Senate GOP leader Mitch McConnell. At this point, this is the first public endorsement for Cornyn. Cornyn is running to succeed McConnell alongside Republican Sens. Rick Scott of Florida and John Thune of South Dakota. “I’m backing John Cornyn for majority leader,” Hawley said in a statement. “In the last two years, nobody has done more to win back the majority than he has.” Ugh — how it pains me to read that endorsement from Josh Hawley!  I have never understood how the likes of John Cornyn has withstood the test of time, holding down his position for over 20 years as one of Texas’ Senators.  As a Texan… I don’t know a single person who supports him, which makes me very suspicious of what happens behind the scenes with all that money raising he’s involved with.  And that suspicion, coupled with the mistakes of allowing too many “snakes” into Trump’s previous administration, worries me — a lot. Nevertheless, we’re set to find out who will be wielding the role of Senate Majority Leader on Wednesday, next week.  At least, that’s when the voting will begin.  In the meantime, I can’t help but hope that this outside-the-box idea of Mike Lee’s somehow sprouts legs, and becomes a legitimate option in the minds of the Senate.
