Hollywood Celebrities Melt Down Over Trump’s Big Win

Leftist celebrities are in a total downward spiral after their preferred candidate Kamala Harris failed to beat Donald Trump in the 2024 election. While many A-listers who endorsed Kamala are staying silent, others took to social media to express their frustration with the landslide Republican victory. Rapper Cardi B, who spoke at a Harris rally right before election day, originally posted a video in which she said, “This is why some of y’all states be getting hurricanes,” before quickly deleting it, per Variety, seemingly referring to states that went red. “I hate y’all bad,” she said in response to the results. She responded to someone asking if she’d appear at Trump’s inauguration during an Instagram live by saying: “I’m sick of you! Burn your f***ing hats, motherf***er. I’m really sad. I swear to God I’m really sad.” Actress Jamie Lee Curtis posted a lengthy reaction, too, worrying that the country would have “a return to a more restrictive, some fear draconian time” with a particular threat for minority groups. “Gay and trans people will be more afraid,” she posted on Instagram. “We know that many women will now find it difficult to get the reproductive healthcare that they need and deserve. For all those people there will be those who will help you. Me included.” “But what it really means is that we wake up and fight,” Curtis added. “Fight for women and our children and their futures and fight against tyranny, one day at a time. One fight at a time. One protest at a time. That’s what it means to be an American.” MATT WALSH’S ‘AM I RACIST?’ NOW STREAMING ON DAILYWIRE+ Actor John Cusack wrote in an X post, “The fact that the country would choose to destroy itself by voting in a convicted felon rapist and Nazi is a sign of deep nihilism. To put it mildly.” Christina Applegate had her own extreme reaction. “My child is sobbing because her rights as a woman may be taken away,” she wrote. “Why? And if you disagree, please unfollow me,” she posted on X. “Please unfollow me if you voted against female rights,” she repeated in follow-up. “Against disability rights. Yeah that. Unfollow me because what you did is unreal. Don’t want followers like this. So yeah. Done. Also after today I will be shutting down this fan account that I have had for so many years because this is sick.” Outspoken Leftist author Stephen King wrote, “There’s a sign you can see in many shops that sell beautiful but fragile items: LOVELY TO LOOK AT, DELIGHTFUL TO HOLD, BUT ONCE YOU BREAK IT, THEN IT’S SOLD. You can say the same about democracy.” Singer Billie Eilish posted to her Instagram, writing, “It’s a war on women,” over a black background. Singer Ariana Grande wrote, “Holding the hand of every person who is feeling the immeasurable heaviness of this outcome today.” Late-night host and comedian Jon Stewart also voiced his thoughts during the election night broadcast of “The Daily Show.” “My point is this: f***!” he said. “But this isn’t the end, I promise you. This is not the end. And we have to regroup, and we have to continue to fight and continue to work day in and day out to create a better society — for our children, for this world, for this country, that we know is possible. It’s possible.”

Democrat Elissa Slotkin Wins Michigan Senate Race

Democratic Senate candidate Elissa Slotkin will win the Michigan Senate race over Republican Mike Rogers, according to the Associated Press and Decision Desk HQ. With 99% of the vote counted, Slotkin holds a less than 19,000-vote lead over Rogers, according to the AP, which called the race for Slotkin on Wednesday afternoon. Democrats will hang onto the seat in Michigan despite former President Donald Trump’s dominant performance in the state, which he won by over 80,000 votes. Democrats have controlled both of Michigan’s Senate seats since 2001. Decision Desk HQ projects Elissa Slotkin (D) wins the US Senate election in Michigan.#DecisionMade: 3:01 PM EDT Follow live results here:https://t.co/cmyM8omXdf pic.twitter.com/kJJKY3Qk3i — Decision Desk HQ (@DecisionDeskHQ) November 6, 2024 Slotkin spoke to supporters on Wednesday, but stopped short of claiming victory, saying, “As things stand right now, we are very confident that when all the votes are counted, we will be senator-elect for the state of Michigan.” Rogers conceded the race and congratulated Slotkin in a statement shared with The Daily Wire. “Congratulations to Congresswoman Slotkin on her victory, I wish her the best as she serves the people of Michigan in the Senate. I am humbled and honored for the millions of Michiganders who embraced our campaign, shared their thoughts, their concerns, their ideas, and put their faith and trust in me to serve our great state as their U.S. Senator. I’m also proud to have run on the ticket with our President-elect, Donald J. Trump, and I have no doubt that he is going to help move Michigan and America forward,” Rogers said. Slotkin served one term in the House of Representatives for Michigan’s 7th District before running for the seat of retiring Democratic Sen. Debbie Stabenow. She also worked in the Obama administration as the Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs. Before that, she was a CIA analyst who served three tours in Iraq. MATT WALSH’S ‘AM I RACIST?’ NOW STREAMING ON DAILYWIRE+ The 2024 race between Slotkin and Rogers focused on the economy and immigration as Rogers attempted to tie his opponent to the Biden-Harris record. Slotkin, meanwhile, focused a lot of her campaign messaging on her support for abortion. In September, Slotkin warned donors that Vice President Kamala Harris was “underwater” in her campaign’s internal polling, a warning that became reality as Harris lost to Trump in the state. Republicans dumped tens of millions of dollars into the Michigan Senate race in hopes of flipping it in their favor. Despite the loss in Michigan, Republicans still flipped Senate control and currently stand at 52 seats with multiple races that have yet to be called that could add to that majority.

Prince William Gives Update On Kate Middleton’s Health Following Chemo Announcement

It’s hard to believe Princess Kate announced her cancer diagnosis nearly a year ago. She reportedly began chemotherapy treatment in February for an undisclosed type of cancer and wrapped up her treatments in September. This was undoubtedly difficult for Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three children. But as always, the royal family handled it with grace and dignity. View this post on Instagram A post shared by The Prince and Princess of Wales (@princeandprincessofwales) Prince William Said Kate Middleton Feels Well According to People, Prince William spoke to the media on November 6 in South Africa, and when asked about Kate Middleton, he said, “She’s doing really well, thanks. And hopefully, she is watching tonight. So cheering me on.” Though Kate kept a low profile during her treatment, she shared the end of her chemotherapy with the world in September in an uplifting Instagram post. “The cancer journey is complex, scary, and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you. With humility, it also brings you face-to-face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything,” the mother of three wrote. Kate Middleton added that Prince William helped keep the family strong during her recovery. Kate’s focus now is on staying well. “Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes. I am however looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can. Despite all that has gone before I enter this new phase of recovery with a renewed sense of hope and appreciation of life,” she wrote. Prince William and Kate Middleton continue to inspire with their love and concern for each other. They took their marriage vows seriously and inspired many. This story’s featured image is by B. Kieran Culkin Shares Grief 16 Years After The Loss Of His Sister

There are few things in life more painful than losing a loved one. Even as time passes, our heartache begins to heal, but life is never the same. Kieran Culkin understands this profound pain more than a decade after the death of his sister, Dakota. The Succession star recently sat down with CBS Sunday Morning, opening up about the struggle of losing a sibling. Kieran Culkin Grew Up Close To His Sister Kieran explained that he and his six siblings lived in Manhattan, and he would often count how many kids got in the door. He also made sure they were all in bed at night. He called it a “wolfpack mentality.” Losing his sister, a vital pack member, changed Kieran Culkin.   “That’s how I remember growing up, too. I couldn’t fall asleep until they all fell asleep. Like, I only existed because they did around me,” he said. Dakota died in 2008 at age 29 following a tragic accident in California where a car struck her as she crossed the street. Kieran Culkin explained to CBS Sunday Morning that he helped channel his sister’s spirit to improve his Succession character. “After a couple seasons on Succession, I realized there was some stuff that Roman did that I was like, ‘Oh, that’s my sister. That was her sense of humor,'” he said. “She could find exactly what the right thing to make fun of you was that would get to you but be really funny and make the room laugh. That was her.” Kiernan Culkin will never forget his sister or how she helped shape him. “I only knew who I was because of who my siblings are,” Kiernan said of Dakota. “So, to lose one was losing a big piece of myself. Losing one of my favorite people in the world. It doesn’t get easier. But you get used to it.” This story’s featured image is by lev radin via Shutterstock.
