Now prosecutor Per Nichols has issued a criminal injunction against the justice council that stole food in a Coop store - on two different occasions.
Among the evidence is a surveillance film where you see how the Justice Council puts goods in a bag and leaves the store without paying.
- You do not know who you are dealing with, I am a judge in the Supreme Court, she said according to the store inspector who caught her.
It was in early February that suspicions of petty theft against the Judiciary became known, and the Special Prosecutor's Office confirmed that a preliminary investigation had been launched.
In connection with this, the Judicial Council terminated its position in the Supreme Court and also relinquished several other positions of trust.
Even when the suspicions became known, the Justice Council's lawyer Johan Eriksson said that she would accept a criminal injunction, but despite that, it took time after the Justice Council repeatedly requested a postponement.
But now the penalty order has been issued.
- It has been sent to her, and either she pays directly and accepts in this way, or she signs and pays at a later date, Per Nichols says to Dagens Juridik.
Penalty injunction issued
Dagens Juridik has taken part in the preliminary investigation, which thus refers to petty theft. It comprises a total of 44 pages.
The two thefts took place on 13 and 17 December last year, in the same grocery store in central Stockholm. On the first occasion, the Justice Council stole goods of an unknown value, but under SEK 1,250, and on the second occasion, goods for SEK 336.
The preliminary investigation shows that on 17 December, the Judicial Council was noticed by a store inspector who saw how she picked up goods, including meatballs, Christmas ham, camembert and prince sausage, in a cloth bag she had brought with her. She then put another bag over the goods.
- I have been working with this for a while and it is a common way to steal goods. The thieves usually do so, says the store inspector in the interrogations.
After that, the Justice Council went to the checkout where she paid 6 kroner for a cabbage head - but not for the goods that were in the cloth bag. When she was about to leave the store, the staff intervened.
"I am a judge of the Supreme Court"
The store inspector brought the Justice Council into the warehouse, waiting for the police to be called.
- You do not know who you are dealing with, I am a judge in the Supreme Court, the Justice Council said then according to the store inspector and also gave him his business card - which is supported by another witness, but denied by the Justice Council.
According to the shop assistant, the Judicial Council then suggested that they could "solve it" by only paying for the goods she had stolen. She has, she said, convicted many of shoplifting - and the only thing that happens is that you get a fine - so it is better that he let her pay and release her.
- She got a little angry when she heard that she was detained and said that she was not, the store inspector says.
The Judiciary itself says in the interrogations that she acknowledges the facts as if she had left the store without paying for the goods. But she denies the crime and denies that she had committed the act intentionally when she was stressed to a meeting.
She says in the interrogation that the goods she forgot to pay for were for an elderly neighbor - but does not want to give the neighbor's name.
Christmas food
The first time she was fined, she was not caught in the store, but it was only later that she could be linked to it through a surveillance film where it is seen how she puts goods in a bag and then goes out without paying for these goods, but pay for a jam and a liter of milk.
The Judicial Council, which has an income of almost 4 million a year, will now pay a 50-day fine of SEK 1,000.

Appeals court orders Turku attack hero to pay €27k
An appeals court has doubled the fine that Hassan Zubier was ordered to pay by a lower court for the crime of fundraising without a permit on GoFundMe.

An appeals court has ordered Hassan Zubier to pay the state 27,000 euros of crowdfunding proceeds after the 2017 Turku attack in which his spinal cord was severed.
A lower court previously fined Zubier around 13,000 euros, or roughly half of the 27,000 euros in damages sought by the prosecution. The appeals court, however, found that it was not unreasonable for Zubier to lose all of the proceeds from the fundraising crime.
Permits issued by the police are required in order to legally fundraise in Finland, and Zubier's campaign did not have one.
Zubier, 50, is a UK national who lives in Sweden and was on a visit to Finland when the attack took place. He was severely injured by the attacker when he attempted to save the life of a stabbing victim at Turku Market Square.
The woman who had set up the fundraising campaign for Zubier was handed a 25 day-fine sentence, amounting to a total of 800 euros.
The district court found that Zubier was instrumental in launching the fundraising campaign, as the woman said she had initially told him that arranging a fundraising campaign would be too complicated after talking to the police. The court found that the woman would have given up on the plan if Zubier hadn't suggested that she launch a fundraiser for him on GoFundMe.
Fallen hero
The Turku stabbing case was deemed Finland's first official terrorist crime, in which a 23-year-old Moroccan man was found guilty of killing two women and injuring eight other people.
In 2020, Zubier received a 22-month suspended sentence for aggravated fraud, aggravated forgery and illegal fundraising crimes.
Following the attack, the media and public initially showered Zubier with praise. President Sauli Niinistö and Queen Elizabeth bestowed him with awards.
But he fell from grace in Finland after news emerged that he had embellished details about his life, including forging documents he submitted in a benefits application to the Finnish state.
