Lifelong Democrat Billionaire – “I Am Voting For Trump”

Mark Pincus, billionaire founder of mobile social gaming company Zynga, said he is voting for President Trump. “I am voting for Trump. I have been a lifelong Dem, supporting the past 4 presidential campaigns at $1m each (including Biden/Harris). This past year i have seen too much,” Pincus wrote. “Israel is America’s most loyal ally and the only Democracy in the Middle East. It is fighting Iran on 7 fronts and yet it can no longer trust the US. Anti semitism in America is reaching levels not seen since pre WWII. And there seems to be a war against freedom of speech. Happily MSM is no longer trusted but if our sources of free speech like X are censored we move a step closer to Russia and China where the state is the only voice allowed,” Pincus continued. “I know America will continue to be great under the Dems or Trump. And yet i think America and Israel will be stronger under Trump. My vote doesnt matter since i live in a one party state. But i feel its important that i state my position anyway,” he added. I only get Dem texts bc they punish their biggest donors the most! — mark pincus – e/acc (@markpinc) November 1, 2024 Daily Caller reports: Pincus joins a growing list of Silicon Valley billionaires and investors who have defected from the Democratic Party to outright support Trump. Chamath Palihapitiya, another Bay Area billionaire who has donated over $1 million to Democrats, has come out strongly in favor of Trump in recent months. Shaun Maguire, a partner at Silicon Valley venture capital firm Sequoia Capital who donated to Hillary Clinton’s campaign in 2016, announced a $300,000 donation to Trump in May. Maguire also cited Israel, writing, “somehow the Biden administration has chosen to cuddle up to Iran while driving Saudi Arabia and Israel away.” Elon Musk, perhaps the most glaring example of a billionaire who is backing Trump, spent his money somewhat equally on campaign contributions to Democrats and Republicans in the past. His largest contribution before 2023 was a $50,000 donation to Democrat Rahm Emanuel in 2015, according to Bloomberg. Musk has stepped up his Republican support. The multi-industry mogul reportedly donated $289,100 to a Super PAC meant to boost House Republicans. In addition to making multiple campaign appearances with Trump, Musk also offered to award $1 million to a different voter every day if they sign a petition pledging their support for the First and Second Amendments. Earlier this year, the Trump campaign raised $12 million at a fundraiser in the heart of Silicon Valley. Trump Campaign Raises $12 Million At Silicon Valley Fundraiser Tech investor David Sacks, who endorsed Trump for president, hosted the San Francisco event. Tickets for the event ranged from $50,000 to $500,000 each, according to The San Francisco Standard. “As many press accounts have reported, I’m hosting a fundraising event for President Donald J. Trump at my home in San Francisco this evening. Over the last couple of years, I have hosted events for presidential candidates Ron DeSantis, Vivek Ramaswamy, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., as well as several Congressional figures in both major parties. I give to many, but endorse few,” Sacks said. “But today I am giving my endorsement to our 45th President, Donald J. Trump, to be our 47th President. My reasons rest on four main issues that I think are vital to American prosperity, security, and stability – issues where the Biden administration has veered badly off course and where I believe President Trump can lead us back,” he continued. Kennedy Jr., as well as several Congressional figures in both major parties. I give to many, but endorse few. But today I am giving my endorsement to our 45th President, Donald J. Trump, to be our 47th President. My reasons rest on four main issues that I think are vital to American prosperity, security, and stability – issues where the Biden administration has veered badly off course and where I believe President Trump can lead us back. 1. The Economy President Biden took over an economy that was already recovering strongly from the Covid-induced shock of Q2 2020. Demand had roared back, and employment had recovered. But he chose to keep priming the pump with unnecessary Covid stimulus – almost $2 trillion of it, passed on a straight party-line vote in March of 2021, with trillions more to follow for “infrastructure,” green energy, and “inflation reduction.” Biden did this despite early warnings from former Clinton Treasury Secretary Larry Summers that it could lead to inflation. When the inflation came, the Biden administration dismissed it as “transitory.” In fact, inflation still remains persistently high even after the fastest interest-rate tightening cycle in memory. As a result of Biden’s inflation, average Americans have lost roughly a fifth of their purchasing power over the last few years. Moreover, any American who needs a mortgage, car loan, or credit card debt faces much higher interest costs, which further constrain their purchasing power. It’s no different for our federal government, which now must devote over a trillion dollars annually to interest on its $34 trillion debt, a massive sum that’s been growing by a trillion dollars every hundred days. This trajectory is unsustainable, yet Biden’s 2025 budget calls for even higher spending. Growth has already slowed from 3.4 percent in the last quarter of 2023 to an anemic 1.3 percent in the first quarter of this year. We can’t afford another four years of Bidenomics. 2. Foreign Policy / Ukraine War President Trump left office with ISIS defeated, the Abraham Accords signed, and no new wars raging on the global stage. Three and a half years later, the world is on fire. President Biden has made several strategic choices that have contributed to this situation. In his first year in office, Biden unnecessarily alienated the Saudis before realizing that they are an indispensable partner in the Middle East. He also presided over a chaotic withdrawal of our troops from Afghanistan (right policy, abysmal execution). But his biggest blunder by far has been in Ukraine. His administration immediately began pushing for Ukraine’s admission to NATO, despite no unanimity among the existing NATO members that such a move was a good idea. When this predictably antagonized the Russians, the Biden administration doubled down at every turn, insisting that “NATO’s door is open, and will remain open” with respect to Ukraine. Biden himself baited Russia when he said he didn’t “accept anybody’s red lines.” After the invasion, there was still a chance to stop the war in its early weeks before much loss of life and destruction had occurred. Russian and Ukrainian negotiators had signed a draft agreement in Istanbul that would have seen Russia retreat to its pre-invasion borders in exchange for Ukrainian neutrality. But the Biden administration rejected that deal as well as General Milley’s advice to seek a diplomatic solution in November 2022. As the war of attrition grinds on, the Ukrainians face ever-mounting casualties and infrastructure damage. Still, President Biden keeps allowing the conflict to escalate and risk World War III. Every escalation that Biden initially resisted – Abrams tanks, F-16’s, ATACMs, allowing Ukraine to hit targets in Russia – he has eventually acquiesced to. There is just one more escalation to go: NATO troops on the ground fighting Russia directly. And our European allies like Emmanuel Macron are already spoiling for exactly this scenario. With Biden, our choices are limited to fighting the proxy war to the last Ukrainian, or fighting Russia ourselves. President Trump has said he wants the dying in Ukraine to stop, and that he will seek to end the war through a negotiated settlement. Ukraine will no longer be able to get the deal we talked them out of in April 2022, but we can still save Ukraine as an independent nation and avert world war. 3. The Border As an immigrant to the United States myself, I certainly believe in America’s history of strengthening its ranks by welcoming talented people from other nations seeking freedom and opportunity. But that promise requires an orderly process of legal immigration that emphasizes skills and the principles of American citizenship. This was the preferred policy under President Trump. What Biden ushered in was a de facto open border policy. On his first day in office, he repealed President Trump’s executive orders restricting illegal immigration and stopped construction of a border wall, selling off parts of it for scrap metal. This quickly resulted in a massive spike in illegal border crossings and a chaotic and dangerous situation on our southern border. President Biden (along with the hapless Kamala Harris and the malevolent Homeland Security Chief Alejandro Mayorkas) responded to growing concerns by gaslighting the American public, saying there was no problem at the border despite constant videos of masses of people sprinting across it. When the situation became too dire to ignore or deny, Biden claimed he didn’t have the executive authority to do anything about it and blamed Republicans for not sending him legislation. But this week, facing abysmal polling numbers on this issue, Biden suddenly discovered he has executive authority after all. The order he signed is a tepid, too little-too late effort to slow the tidal wave of illegal immigration in time for the election. But Biden has shown he is not serious on this issue. If he wins a second term, the open border policy will resume, and tens of millions more illegals will stream across the border. 4. Lawfare A bedrock of the political stability we’ve enjoyed in America over the last 250 years is that we don’t accept attempts to jail political opponents in order to win an election. Yet Biden has pushed for selective and unprecedented prosecutions of his once and future opponent from the moment he assumed office. Merrick Garland took a long look at the January 6 situation and didn’t see a path to prosecute Trump, even after a one-sided Congressional committee sent a highly-prejudiced referral to his Justice Department. Press stories then appeared describing Biden’s frustration with Garland’s reticence. The result was Jack Smith at the federal level and Alvin Bragg and Fani Willis at the state level. All have pursued cases based on novel legal theories heretofore unseen and designed to get Trump. In the NY case, Bragg resurrected a dead book-keeping misdemeanor into 34 felonies by claiming it was in the service of a second crime that he never defined and that the judge never insisted the jury unanimously agree on. My immigration to this country as a young boy happened because my parents disagreed with the political system of their home country. That government sought to solve its political disagreements by imprisoning its political enemies. What a sad irony that the lawfare we escaped has now reared its ugly head in America of all places. President Biden keeps insisting that a return of President Trump to the White House threatens democracy. But his administration is the one that has colluded with tech platforms to censor the Internet, used the intelligence community to cover up his son Hunter’s laptop, and pursued elective prosecutions against his political opponents. Conclusion: The A/B Test The voters have experienced four years of President Trump and four years of President Biden. In tech, we call this an A/B test. With respect to economic policy, foreign policy, border policy, and legal fairness, Trump performed better. He is the President who deserves a second term.

PA: Mail Ballots with Missing or Wrong Dates Won’t Be Counted

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court, with a Democrat majority, once again declared on Friday that mail ballots returned with missing or incorrect dates will not be counted. According to KRON4, the Republican National Committee filed an emergency appeal to ensure that officials do not leverage the decision by a lower court finding such disqualifications violate the state […] The post PA: Mail Ballots with Missing or Wrong Dates Won’t Be Counted appeared first on www.independentsentinel.com.

My Case For Trump

When Donald Trump first entered the political scene almost a decade ago, I did not like him. That is a generous way of putting it. I really did not like him. The only thing I knew about Trump at the time, aside from the fact that he was a reality TV star, was that he was a longtime Democrat from New York who was friends with all of the worst people in media and politics. All of those people hate him today and openly root for his political and physical demise. But that wasn’t the case in the early days of Trump’s political life. So, back in those days, I thought Trump was a leftist infiltrator. I thought that, no matter what he promised, he would govern from the Left. I thought that electing him would be the same as electing a far-Left Democrat — because that’s what he was, I believed. It turns out, I was wrong. Not for the first time. Sadly, not for the last. But I was wrong.  Trump did not govern like a Democrat infiltrator sent by the Clintons to destroy the Republican Party from within (a conspiracy theory that, I admit, I once entertained). If he did, they wouldn’t have spent the last four years trying to send him to prison, or failing that, to the morgue. If I had fallen into a coma in January of 2017, missed the entirety of Trump’s tenure, and woken up in January of 2021, I would still know that Trump was a successful conservative president based entirely on how they’ve treated him ever since. Indeed, I would have all the reason that I needed to vote for him on that basis alone. They have tried to destroy him. Leftist elites have waged a campaign of vengeance unlike anything ever seen in the history of American politics. That’s reason enough to vote for him in 2024. I don’t need to know what happened from the years 2017 to 2021. But I do know, because I was thankfully alive and conscious during that time. So I saw that Trump fulfilled his promise to appoint constitutionalist justices to the Supreme Court, who then went on to overturn the most abominable decision in the history of the court — a decision that cost 60 million American lives. I saw that Trump enforced our immigration laws, defunded sanctuary cities, and sent criminal illegal aliens to prison. I saw that Trump’s time in office was also a time of relative peace all over the globe. He prevented wars rather than starting them — a novel strategy, at least compared to every other president in my lifetime. And I saw that Trump presided over a strong and growing economy. The unemployment rate hit a low not seen in 50 years. Manufacturing jobs started coming back to America. The stock market hit record highs. I saw all of that. We all saw it, if we were paying attention. Here’s what we didn’t see: any of the dystopian horrors that Trump’s opponents keep warning he will visit upon us. He did not govern like a fascist tyrant drunk on his own power. He did not install himself as dictator for life. In fact, he exercised great restraint. He didn’t start any new wars. He didn’t move to expand his own executive powers. He didn’t even issue that many executive orders, compared to the three most recent presidents before him. That’s why I’m voting for Trump. And why I believe you should too. He earned our vote. He earned it by governing successfully and leading competently. Trump was already a good president, which is very compelling evidence that he will be a good president. Nothing is sure in this life. You cannot predict the future with absolute certainty. Yet you can be extremely confident that someone can do a job well if they have already done it well. So that’s the best selling point for Donald Trump. The best selling point is who he is and what he has done. But the second best selling point is who he isn’t. He isn’t Kamala Harris. WATCH: The Matt Walsh Show I’m voting for Trump because we need him in the White House. I’m also voting for him because we need to keep Kamala Harris out of the White House. I’m not going to spend a lot of time making the case against Kamala here. I’ve done that literally every day for the past three months. I suspect that anyone who reads this, anyone who is even potentially reachable at this stage of the game, already knows that Kamala is bad — a bad leader, a bad Vice President, a bad person. Totally unqualified for the job she currently holds. Even less qualified for the job she wants to hold. She is a far-Left radical. No matter how much she has backtracked over the past couple of months, her record speaks for itself. She wants to open our borders, defund our police, start more wars, kill more babies, take more money out of our pockets, destroy our right to free speech, make the world less safe and our communities less safe. She may be profoundly incompetent, but she is capable of doing all of those things. And she will. That’s the point I want to emphasize. Kamala Harris may be a bumbling, empty-headed buffoon. But she does have an agenda, she will use the powers of the presidency to enact it, and it will be a catastrophe for your family and mine. I would vote against Kamala Harris no matter who she was running against. I’d vote for a houseplant over her. We’ve already had one of those running the country for four years. It’s been a disaster, but Kamala will be worse. Kamala gives us more than enough reason to vote for Trump. But the good news is that we don’t have to hold our nose. We can vote against Kamala and for Trump, and do it proudly. On that note, I want to say one last thing. Trump’s critics like to say that character matters. They’re right. It does. They say we should think about Trump’s character before we consider voting for him. They’re right. We should. Well, there is no character trait more important than courage. CS Lewis once wrote that courage is the form of every virtue at its testing point. What he meant is that courage contains all of the other virtues. Courage is how all virtues are expressed when push comes to shove. If you are the most virtuous person in the world but all of your virtues disappear when you’re under fire, then you have no virtue. A man is defined by how he acts in those moments. So when you boil everything down, only one question matters: Do you have courage? That’s what separates the men who shape history from the ones who will be forgotten by it. That’s the dividing line. Now think about the iconic picture of Trump raising his fist in the air right after he was shot in the head. Most pictures are worth a thousand words. But I think for the best pictures you only need one. That picture of Trump screams one word: courage. Trump’s enemies may hate to admit it. They may never admit it. But Trump proved in that moment, and in the weeks and months that followed, that he is a man of exceptional courage. He was shot. A few weeks later, he was nearly shot again. It takes immense courage to continue along unfazed, still campaigning, still appearing in front of massive crowds, even after a bullet came half an inch from blowing a hole in your skull. The best thing I can say about Trump — the thing that most testifies to his character — is that if I had spent the month of July living in a cave, and only re-emerged in August, and had been following Trump closely ever since, I would never know that he escaped death by ten millimeters. That’s because the media has done everything they can to bury it and pretend it never happened. But it’s also because Trump is so completely unshaken by the event. He doesn’t come off like a man who just suffered a severe trauma, though he did. MATT WALSH’S ‘AM I RACIST?’ NOW STREAMING ON DAILYWIRE+ When you face down your own mortality and are not remotely rattled by the experience, and then you continue to put yourself in vulnerable positions because you simply refuse to run and hide, you have courage. You have shown a kind of courage that nobody in American politics today has ever shown. Trump’s relentlessly theatrical enemies have to invent all kinds of fantastical threats that they are supposedly facing. They pretend that Trump is some sort of existential danger to them. That their very lives hang in the balance. It’s all performance. The truth is that most of them are living lives of great comfort. And the irony is that, if Trump wins, their lives will only become more comfortable as the economy improves. They are not facing down any threat. They are not showing any courage. They don’t know what courage is. They’re on the same side as Hollywood and the media and corporate America and almost every powerful person in DC. They are safe. Trump is the one under fire. Trump has actually taken a bullet in real life. It’s not a performance for him. Trump is not a perfect man. Neither am I. Neither are you. But what I know is that when the bullets were flying, he stood tall. That’s the kind of man I want in the White House. It’s the kind of man we’ll need in the times ahead.

Trump Campaign Memo Describes ‘Massive Turnout Deficit’ For Dems On Eve of Election

PALM BEACH—Former President Donald Trump’s campaign is circulating a memo describing a “massive turnout deficit” for Democrats on the eve of the 2024 election. Tim Saler, the chief data consultant for Donald J. Trump for President, described how Trump and Republicans are reportedly outperforming past elections in early votes and absentee ballots in a memo sent to Trump campaign senior leadership on Monday. “As we dive deeper into the data, Democrats are facing a precipitous decline in urban turnout according to their own ‘data experts’ and we are tracking an uptick in rural turnout,” Saler wrote. He cited Barack Obama’s former campaign manager, Jim Messina, who described the early vote numbers as “a little scary” on MSNBC. “The early vote numbers are a little scary,” said Messina, a 2012 Obama aide. “Republicans didn’t do what they did last time. “Last time, Trump said, ‘Don’t early-vote,’ so they didn’t,” he added. “Republicans do have an advantage in early-vote numbers. When the early votes come in, it’s going to look a little bit different than 2020, and that’s scary.” “What Mr. Messina is downplaying, is they are a lot scarier for Democrats,” Saler said. “According to NBC News, President Donald J. Trump has a 16-point lead (56-40) among voters who plan to cast their ballot on Election Day. Obama’s chief campaign strategist and CNN political commentator, David Axelrod, told CNN that there are no guarantees that voters will turn out on Election Day for Vice President Harris.” “Democrats are spinning themselves and reporters by claiming that their voters will turn out on Election Day when polls show otherwise and, most importantly, that’s asking Democrat voters to do something they have absolutely no history of doing,” he added. “If Democrats, who historically vote ahead of Election Day, haven’t been motivated to show up for Kamala yet, why do we expect them to show up tomorrow?” The memo emphasized confidence that Trump is heading into Tuesday “stronger than he has in any previous election.” But it also stressed that Republicans need to get out and vote for Trump. Saler added, “if patriots across the country keep the momentum and turn out as expected on Election Day, we will be swearing in President Trump in January.” The Harris campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Biden-Harris Admin Spent $80M To Help Immigrants Bypass Southern Border

Under a program created by the Biden-Harris administration, tens of millions of taxpayer dollars have been spent telling Central and South American migrants how to enter the U.S. without passing through the Southern Border. A report released Friday by the Republican-controlled Judiciary subcommittee on immigration integrity, security, and enforcement found that Americans have spent more than $80 million on a program that helps foreign nationals enter the U.S., whether through refugee status or other means. The program in question is the 2023 Biden-Harris Safe Mobility Initiative, which works with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to help migrants bypass the southern border. “Under President Biden and Vice President Harris, in June 2023 the State Department announced its Safe Mobility Initiative, which allows aliens to sidestep the southwest border and, according to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), ‘avoid the risks associated with onward movement,’” congressional Republicans wrote in the executive summary of their report. “In other words, this new Biden-Harris program fast-tracks aliens into the United States out of sight of the American people and without the politically damaging optics at the border.” “The initiative’s Safe Mobility Offices (SMOs) allow aliens outside the United States to consult with foreign national employees from UNHCR and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), who then provide the aliens with several options to resettle in the United States, including through family reunification parole, labor pathways, and additional expansions of the Biden-Harris Administration’s illegal abuses of humanitarian parole,” the report continued. “The U.S. taxpayer-funded SMOs are located in 13 cities across Guatemala, Costa Rica, Colombia, and Ecuador.” MATT WALSH’S ‘AM I RACIST?’ NOW STREAMING ON DAILYWIRE+ Since last year, congressional Republicans have sought to oversee the Biden-Harris administration’s disastrous handling of America’s southern border and say this oversight led to the discovery of an “open-borders alliance with United Nations bureaucrats to ensure that additional aliens are fast-tracked into the United States on the U.S. taxpayers’ dime.” The subcommittee found that more than 18,000 immigrants from Central and South America departed to resettle in the U.S. through the initiative, and nearly 67,000 were referred to the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program for potential resettlement in the U.S. Another 7,000 were identified by IOM as potentially eligible to enter the U.S. in other ways. “For aliens who are not eligible to resettle in the United States through the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program because they could not establish that they are refugees, IOM staffers at SMOs counsel the aliens on alternative avenues to enter the country,” the report found. “Only 14 percent of IOM employees devoted to the Safe Mobility Initiative are U.S. citizens, however, meaning that the Biden-Harris Administration uses U.S. taxpayer dollars to pay foreign national employees of the United Nations to counsel other foreign nationals on the best ways to enter the United States.”
