Female boxer Angela Carini celebrated taking home the 2024 Italian women’s title for boxing after being forced to fight in the 2024 Paris Olympics against a competitor with a sex development condition who had failed previous gender tests with the International Boxing Association (IBA).  The victory for Carini came months after she had to endure being beaten up in the ring by Imane Khelif, an Olympic boxer from Algeria, who had failed past gender tests — per the IBA — and was later allegedly proven to be a biological male, according to a French journalist who obtained a medical report. After winning the title, the female boxer said, “Tonight was my revenge,” a Telegraph reporter wrote on X. “Some 2024 for Angela Carini. Stephen Miller, senior adviser to President-elect Donald Trump, said during an interview over the weekend that Trump will deliver the most significant domestic policy win in more than 50 years within just a few weeks of taking office next January.
