Posthumously Stabbed: Bizarre Woman’s Burial Unearthed in Sweden

Archaeologists currently investigating an Iron Age burial ground in Pryssgården, Sweden, have found a woman’s grave containing a small needle and a curved knife inserted vertically into the earth! The cemetery, dating from around 500 BC to 400 AD, contains at least 50 burials and may be the same site famously described in 1667 by Ericus Hemengius, a priest tasked with recording ancient remains in his parish. The woman’s grave remains the most unusual find of the lot. Over 80 Strange Bronze Age Holes Discovered in Sweden. Why Did People Gather there 3000 Years Ago? Norwegian Archaeologists Have Found the Shrine of a Miracle-Making Viking King A Large Cemetery The cemetery was uncovered in Pryssgården, a southern Swedish area about 105 miles (169 kilometers) southwest of Stockholm. Archaeologists initially learned of the site through the 17th-century text by Hemengius, who was commissioned to document ancient cemeteries in his parish. Hemengius describes the piles and mounds he saw, visible from his window, writing: "Below the priest's property, west of Prästegården, there are some ancestral burial mounds, seemingly large, on which, for the most part, fires are seen burning every autumn night." Until now, archaeologists were uncertain if these graves had survived or were even in the area of their current excavation, according to a press release by Arkeologerna. Texas Toast French Dips

Texas Toast French Dips are an easy weeknight dinner recipe made with garlic Texas Toast, roast beef slices, gooey melted cheese and a delicious au jus to dip it in! A 30-MINUTE DINNER RECIPE I absolutely love this Texas Toast French Dips recipe. It is definitely a new family favorite! It’s perfect for those busy weeknights when you want a delicious dinner on the table quickly! Talk about delicious! It combines a classic french dip flavor profile with Texas Toast- an ingredient that is so much more than just garlic bread! Have you tried my Texas Toast Sloppy Joes or my Garlic Bread Chicken Parmesan Pizzas? If you love garlic bread like I do, these recipes are a MUST! FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:  What’s a good side for Texas Toast French Dips? These French Dips can be served as an appetizer or as a meal with whatever side you enjoy. Try serving with French Fries, chips, onion rings, with your favorite steamed veggies, or a big side salad. How do I prevent the toast from getting soggy? I suggest baking the toast slightly longer than the box instructions say, so they get a little extra crispy. That way, when you add the au jus gravy, it’s a little more substantial to hold up the extra liquid. Can I use something else other than Texas Toast? Absolutely, if you don’t have Texas Toast, any Garlic Bread will do. You can even make Homemade Garlic Bread and use slices of that. What’s the best way to store leftovers? Keep leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days, freeze for up to 3 months. What’s the best way to reheat Texas Toast French Dips? I suggest reheating leftovers back in the oven to help crisp up the toast again. Or an air fryer. You could try the microwave, but it may make the bread soggy. INGREDIENTS NEEDED: (SEE RECIPE CARD BELOW FOR THE FULL RECIPE) frozen garlic Texas Toast – any bread will do, I just really enjoy garlic Texas Toast since it adds so much flavor without all the fuss. au jus gravy mix– grab a packet on your next grocery run, or make your own if you have a good recipe. cold water sliced deli roast beef – you can buy the prepackaged roast beef or get a nicer quality cut from the deli. Either will work just fine. provolone cheese– other cheese can be used in place of provolone. Mozzarella, white cheddar, or Swiss would all be good options. dried parsley – for an optional garnish – just adds a nice little green touch! HOW TO MAKE TEXAS TOAST FRENCH DIPS: Preheat the oven to 425°F. Line a sheet tray with parchment paper. Cook the Texas Toast per the directions on the back of the box, mine cooked for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through. While the toast is baking, make the au jus with water according to the package directions. Once the toast and au jus are ready, warm the roast beef in the jus. On top of each piece of toast, place a half slice of cheese. Top all of the toasts evenly with the roast beef slices.  Add the remaining cheese on top. Bake for 3-5 minutes until melted. Serve immediately with the au jus for dipping. Frank Fritz/Instagram Like many relationships, they hit a rough patch in 2020 after Fritz left the show to attend to severe back pain. Fritz was offended that Wolfe never showed concern, and the latter addressed the claims, saying everything changed when Fritz got addicted to opioids and refused his help. Courteney Cox Sports Hairstyle From 24 Years Ago For Halloween Throwback

As celebrities flooded social media with their Halloween costumes, Courteney Cox did not leave her fans out of the fun as she showed up reminiscent of a character from her hit movie Scream 3. She shared a clip showing herself in a purple suit and a weird-looking hairstyle as she made both of her King Charles Cavalier Spaniels pose as Ghostface. Cox’s post received hundreds of thousands of likes and many comments referring to her Scream character, Gale Weathers. “Gale became a Halloween tradition,” someone reacted while others could not hold back laughing from how hilarious Cox’s hair looked. Courteney Cox rocks hair transformation from 24 years ago             View this post on Instagram                         A post shared by Courteney Cox (@courteneycoxofficial)   While bangs are a good look on most people, Scream 3’s Gale wore hers too short, and Cox admits she still feels embarrassed about the haircut. She revealed on The Drew Barrymore Show that she loved to come up with ugly hairstyles for each role reprisal; however, the bangs remain the worst. She also clarified that the bangs were just clip-ins, and her long hair was still intact. While the scream queen’s hair got spookier with more sequels, Cox’s hair in real life was something to admire as she knew how to switch things up from color to style. SCREAM 3, Courteney Cox/Everett More iconic hairstyles from Courteney Cox Cox sported her deep brunette blowouts that sat elegantly on her shoulders as Monica Geller on Friends. Before then, she wore her hair short to the trendy shaggy curls to play Gloria Dinallo in Misfits Of Science. The early 2000s saw Cox go for minimalist side or center parts with her hair let down. Courteney Cox/Everett Although she has not explored colors beyond her normal brunette, she does her touch-ups at home, noting that she does not have much gray hair. Lately, Cox prefers to wear her hair in simple beachy curls falling to her shoulders. Her last Halloween appearance was a witty move as she fed into her follower’s nostalgia. Moving to Seattle during his teenage years, he quickly honed his skills on the trumpet and began arranging music. His talent earned him a scholarship to Berklee College of Music, though he left early to tour with Lionel Hampton’s band. This opportunity marked the beginning of his journey in the jazz world, leading to collaborations with legends like Dizzy Gillespie and Count Basie.
