Tim Stevens My favorite feature of the new $420,000, all-electric Rolls-Royce Spectre isn’t the cosseting ride quality or the illuminated stars embedded in the headliner of the insanely ornate interior. It isn’t the 577 horsepower or the 266 miles of range. It’s neither the “yes, that’s the spot” massaging seats nor the curbside presence of that upright, chromed front grille. It isn’t even the aerodynamically refined yet classically styled Spirit of Ecstasy statuette perched atop. My favorite feature of the Spectre is the sound it makes. As an EV, it doesn’t really make any engine sound on its own. It’s a rolling cocoon made inherently anti-acoustic thanks to the tireless work of some surely big-eared scientists. Dolly Parton revealed she has tattoos on her body that the public has never seen, not even when she dressed as a scantily clad cheerleader at the Dallas Cowboys halftime show last year. She recently explained her reasons for getting inked, which are beyond the aesthetics. Interestingly, Dolly is not a fan of tattoos despite having them, and she clarified that she does not have any references to her husband, Carl Thomas Dean. Addressing the doubters, Dolly joked about getting more art all over her body to prove them right. Why does Dolly Parton have tattoos and why does she keep them secret? Dolly Parton / Everett Dolly admitted that she began getting tattoos to cover up plastic surgery scars, noting that she decorates the areas with artsy symbols like butterflies, bows, or flowers. She explained why she does not bother to show them off, saying she did not get them to make a big statement. The country icon recalled having a feeding tube inserted when she fell ill, which left a dent on her side. However, with her bright ideas, she was able to conceal the purple scar left behind. Dolly’s tattoos are also a testament to her ability to make positives out of negatives. She claimed the beautiful little insects as her symbol, noting that they neither bite nor sting. Speaking of tiny creatures, she got a bee tattooed on the dent by her side. Dolly is open to getting more tattoos if necessary because her complexion tends to make cuts look worse, although she will maintain the pastel theme as she dislikes real heavy ones.
