The EU leaders will have orgasms of horror about this.

Border checks on the basis of ethnicity are not discriminatory, court says Uncategorized September 22, 2021 Photo: Odi Busman Dutch order police can continue selecting people for extra identity checks on the basis of their ethnicity because this does not amount to discrimination, a court in The Hague ruled on Wednesday. The judge said that while there is no clear definition of what ethnicity is, it broadly amounts to ‘outward appearances which cannot be changed, such as skin colour or race’. These characteristics, the judge said, could give rise to people being checked. ‘The mere fact that ethnicity plays a role… is not by definition discriminatory and cannot therefore constitute grounds for a general ban,’ the judge said. The case centres on checks carried out by the border police on air and train passengers, and road users from within the EU. Formal border controls have been phased out within the EU but spot checks are sanctioned in order to combat illegal immigration. The case was brought by Amnesty International and other human rights organisation, as well as two citizens, including Mpanzu Bamenga, a former Eindhoven city councillor. Conference He was singled out for special questioning at passport control at Eindhoven airport after returning from Rome where he had attended a conference. Dressed in a suit, he was walking fast, other indicators, it later transpired, for resembling a ‘Nigerian money smuggler’. When he asked why he had been pulled over Bamenga was told that they were looking for criminals and refugees. He thought he looked like someone the police were looking for, but when a another black man and woman with children were also taken out of the queue, he realized it was a clear case of ethnic profiling. ‘It made me angry,’ he told RTL Nieuws at the time. ‘Ethnic profiling is not about me personally, it affects many people.’ Risk profiles Junior justice minister Ankie Broekers-Knol told MPs last week that the border police work with risk profiles based on information from the security services, as well as other risk indicators. These could include race and the travel companions as well as behaviour and travel routes. Lawyer Jelle Klaas, who represented the plaintiffs in court, said the verdict is a missed opportunity for the Netherlands. ‘The door to discrimination and racism remains wide open,’ he said. Klaas said the plaintiffs will appeal against the decision

Like so many things "green" its just BS.

"Green steel" is not a bit environmentally friendly
Published September 23, 2021 at 09.40
ECONOMY. The government's investment in fossil-free steel is not environmentally friendly as it requires huge amounts of electricity to produce the hydrogen gas used. Now researchers warn that the government's investment in Hybrit and H2 Green Steel is a form of proud "environmental nationalism", writes SvD.

The so-called climate impact will not be less either, it will only move outside Sweden's national borders, according to the researchers. Something that makes the whole thing extra meaningless because a central component in the notion that there are human-caused climate changes in the world is precisely that it is a "global" warming that is going on.

Heavy researchers now call the Swedish investments Hybrit and H2 Green Steel "environmental nationalism".

The criticism is presented in a debate article in the journal Economic Debate signed Christian Sandström, assistant professor at Jönköping School of Business, Magnus Henrekson, professor at the Institute for Business Research, and research assistant Carl Alm at Ratio.

- Sweden may appear to be good in an international comparison and the companies involved receive a lot of praise, but for the climate it would be much better not to, says Christian Sandström to SvD.

The trio believes that the investment is so wrong that it is doubtful whether it is possible to talk about "green" steel at all.

The researchers' conclusion is that the problem is largely due to the EU deciding that billions should be invested in hydrogen technology, despite the fact that it is a dubious technology from an environmental point of view.

"Larger government investments in individual technologies or societal problems are, however, associated with both technical and commercial risks. There are several contemporary examples of this, such as large investments in ethanol cars in the 2000s," the researchers write.

Biden will never see this letter as his "handlers" and Dr. Jill will keep it from him.

"All but one GOP governor in the United States signed a joint letter to President Joe Biden demanding a crackdown on the flood of illegal migration coming across the U.S. southern border.
“The months-long surge in illegal crossings has instigated an international humanitarian crisis, spurred a spike in international criminal activity, and opened the floodgates to human traffickers and drug smugglers endangering public health and safety in our states,” the governors wrote. “A crisis that began at our southern border now extends beyond to every state and requires immediate action before the situation worsens.”
“The negative impacts of an unenforced border policy on the American people can no longer be ignored. Border apprehensions are up almost 500% compared to last year, totaling more than 1.3 million—more people than the populations of nine U.S. states. Approximately 9,700 illegal apprehensions have prior criminal convictions. Cartels and traffickers are making $14 million a day moving people illegally across the border,” the letter continues. “More fentanyl has been seized this fiscal year than the last three years combined—almost 10,500 pounds of fentanyl when only 2 milligrams prove fatal. This is enough to kill seven times the U.S. population.”

Here's a little point that will be missed in this mess...they have removed "least 4,000 people from the site for processing in detention centers. Hundreds have now been returned to Haiti." Well that's just wonderful...they removed 4000...but only sent back "hundreds"...why not thousands...where did the other "hundreds" go to??????????

Well damn...this explains it all..."Haitians have been freed on a “very, very large scale” in recent days, according to one U.S. official who put the figure in the thousands. The official, who has direct knowledge of operations, was not authorized to discuss the matter Tuesday and spoke on condition of anonymity." https://www.newsmax.com/newsfr....ont/border-haitian-m
