Police in Florida have released to the press recordings of heart-stopping 911 calls from the co-workers of a woman who was on a conference call earlier this week when her child found a loaded gun and fatally shot her in the head.

I understand that in a self defense situation that time is extremely important. When your life is being threatened, you aren't going to have 10 minutes to unlock the gun safe, remove the firearm, remove the trigger lock, load the clip, chamber the first round, and confront the threat. But leaving a loaded gun in a place a child could easily access it is completely irresponsible behavior. I would tend to blame the said "boyfriend", but the mother has equal responsibility for gun safety in the home. Based on the name of the victim and some of the deatils, I suspect this was an African American family. That demographic is into the gang gun culture that very often disregard gun safety in general.

For positive change to happen it needs a level of Intelligence that the Afghan "men" do not have. The women seem to have the intelligence to want and understand change but not the "men". The men cannot see or grasp a new system only see it as "men" losing power so they go back to the old ways. On top of all this the "men" never want to do any work but always want others to do it for them.
This has also been seen in Europe

Apparently, and I cannot confirm nor deny this, middle eastern Islam has a high percentage of inbreeding. If true, that would explain a lower level of intelligence in the overall population. This has happened in areas that are isolated from other populations with examples here in the U.S., especially earlier in our history. Islam is certainly exclusive concerning family relationships and self isolation based on religion is likely a big factor.
