Fat shaming is usually frowned upon. However, wildlife officials could not help themselves after trail cam footage revealed an extremely fat black bear. Colorado Parks & Wildlife SW Region posted still images and videos on X on from October 18. That was just the beginning. The hilarious thread on X belongs in the Black Bear Fat Shaming Hall of Fame. We thought we had seen really fat Durango bears before. But this one takes the cake.It also probably ate the cake. It also probably ate the cake. Every cake.” That wasn’t enough, though. With a video post, wildlife officials wondered how much more this already obese bear felt he needed to eat. While it is true that bears “pack it on” before hibernation, this bear does seem excessively large. It wasn’t just the official wildlife trail cams catching sight of this larger-than-life fat bear. X user Carrie Soults caught the animal wandering through her yard on a Ring camera. The bear is just strolling through without a care in the world. It was probably looking for its next snack. We caught Durango Tubby wandering thru our lard… I mean, yard. Being a golden retriever dad is the best job in the world — just ask this dog owner who gets the warmest welcomes from his four-legged friend, Ollie! When this man comes home at the end of the day, his pooch is there in a flash to greet him in the sweetest way. Mom caught the most precious footage of this excitable pup rushing to the door to give Dad some kisses. This hilarious video has received over eight million views on social media! At the beginning of the clip, Ollie was taking a nap. However, he quickly jumped to his feet when Mom told him that his favorite person was coming. All the woman had to say was, “Daddy’s home.” Immediately, the dog leaped off the bed and ran toward the door. He made sure to pick up a gift on his way there: one of the man’s shoes. Then, the golden retriever anxiously waited for his dad to enter the house. He was so excited, he didn’t know what to do with himself! Unsurprisingly, the pup lost no time covering his dad’s face with kisses! Then, once he calmed down a bit, he settled happily into the man’s lap. “Are you happy that Daddy’s home?” Mom asked. Obviously, Ollie couldn’t answer this question in words, but he did respond through his body language. He snuggled up even closer to the man and gave him more affectionate kisses!
