Three Maryville Teens Missing, Sheriff’s Office Seeks Public Help

Blount County Sheriff James Lee Berrong is asking for the public’s assistance in locating three Maryville Tennessee teens who have been reported missing. They were reported missing by their families on Saturday morning and are believed to be traveling together.

According to the sheriff’s office, the teens left on Friday evening in a blue 2021 Ford F250 with Tennessee license plate 674BNNL. Ava Whitehead-Nitzband was last seen at her Maryville home around 10:15 p.m. on October 25, 2024. Just 23 minutes later, her family received a text message from her, stating, “They are shutting my phone off. I am scared for my life right now.”

Sheriff Berrong has urged anyone with information on the teens’ whereabouts to come forward. The circumstances surrounding Ava’s last message have heightened concern, and authorities believe the group could be in danger. Officials say the group may be headed toward Kentucky.

•Chase Rogan: Age 16
•Landon Brown: Age 15

The Blount County Sheriff’s Office has asked anyone with information to contact the Blount County Dispatch non-emergency line at 865-983-3620 or call 911 if there is an emergency.
