Good morning everyone. I know that I’ve been quiet here for the past several days. A few 12 hour days in a row at a real job will do that to you lol. I’m finally starting to see the light at the end of the work tunnel and wanted to share some new news on Dutch Pinball Exclusive’s (DPX) upcoming game Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland with everyone. DPX recently shared a number of new sneak peeks at the game with Cary Hardy and Kaneda’s Pinball Podcast. Below is the first look at the game’s Cheshire Cat topper. The cat’s eyes are supposedly small curved video screens that interact with the game. The second picture is a look at Alice’s lit side rails. The rails contain a lit up phrase that is a part of a quote from the Lewis Carroll book: “If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn’t. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn’t be. And what it wouldn’t be, it would. You see?” The final two pictures were shared by Dutch Pinball on Pinside. The first is a small peek at the game as it is being boxed up and the second was taken during the game’s recent official photo and video shoot for the reveal. Sully is an older golden retriever service dog. He is said to have completed his formative training at Disney World in Florida. It is also his favorite place to visit, so his family brings him back yearly on his birthday. Most service dogs work for about seven to ten years. If Sully was training 13 years ago, then he is likely retired or very near retirement. We’re glad he is getting to live his best life. Sully has a birthday hat on that the woman switches out for some mouse ears. You can see the years of love and devotion on Sully’s white-muzzled face. He is not as spry as he once was. He stares up at the young woman adoringly. What is most amazing about Sully, the service dog, is the fan following he has no clue he has. After reading the comments under Heather’s post, several current and former Disney employees recall visits with Sully over the years. We couldn’t find any info on Sully on social media, but he seems to have a long and distinguished record. Image from TikTok. While the young lady removes Sully’s birthday party hat and puts on the mouse ears, Sully’s face is contented. You sense and can almost see that he is smiling. He looks at her with tired eyes, but that isn’t going to spoil his day. Tiktok user FlockingFabulousMama said, “Oh my goodness! I remember him from many many years ago when I still worked for the mouse!!!” There were many comments offering snippets of previous visits with this famous service dog.
