Enoch Powell was right. Imagine how “enriched” the country will be 10 years from now.

Trump Blasts ‘Nasty’, ‘Hostile’ Kristen Welker: ‘You Hurt Yourself So Badly’

President-elect Donald Trump slammed NBC News host Kristen Welker for her obvious left-wing bias, saying that she hurts herself “badly” by not being neutral. Trump made the remarks at two points during his interview on “Meet The Press” that aired on Sunday. The first moment came when Welker was peppering him with questions related to the Democrat-led January 6 committee in which she repeatedly interrupted him. “It’s amazing. I wish you could be a, you know, you have such potential,” Trump said. “If you could be just non-biased. You hurt yourself so badly.” WATCH: @realDonaldTrump nukes NBC Meet The Press host Kirsten Welker: “It’s amazing. I wish you could be a — you know, you have such potential. You hurt yourself so badly.” pic.twitter.com/44P6yPbMJr — Steve Guest (@SteveGuest) December 8, 2024 Later in the interview, Trump was talking about how he has been treated by the press. “…the press was obviously unfair to me, the press — no president has ever gotten treated by the press like I was. And yet I got more votes than any Republican candidate in history by far.” CHECK OUT THE DAILY WIRE HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE “The press has to straighten itself out, because honestly it’s lost all credibility,” he continued. “Based on the press I should’ve gotten no votes, none. And yet I got the highest number ever.” He then laid into Welker, “And the reason is because I’m able to go on a show even like yours, even though you’re very hostile, I’m able to go on a show like yours [Welker laughs] — no, you are.” “It’s fair only in that you allowed me to say what I say,” he added. “But you know the answers, the questions are, you know, pretty nasty.” Trump rips NBC News’ Kristen Welker for being a “hostile” and “nasty” interviewer: “The press has to straighten itself out, because honestly it’s lost all credibility. Based on the press I should’ve gotten no votes, none. And yet I got the highest number ever.” He later added,… pic.twitter.com/tVhGYO4FJo — Ryan Saavedra (@RealSaavedra) December 8, 2024

Jay-Z Issues Denial To Rape Claim: ‘We Don’t Play These Games’

Rapper Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, issued a statement and strongly denied allegations of him raping a 13-year-old girl along with Sean “Diddy” Combs. The lawsuit was filed by Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee, who has several pending civil lawsuits against Combs. The Jay-Z allegations represent the first time another defendant has been named. Carter posted his response via his Roc Nation social media account, calling the allegations “heinous.” “My lawyer received a blackmail attempt, called a demand letter, from a ‘lawyer’ named Tony Buzbee,” Jay-Z’s statement began. “What he had calculated was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to settle.” “No sir, it had the opposite effect! It made me want to expose you for the fraud you are in a VERY public fashion. So no, I will not give you ONE RED PENNY!!” The statement continued, “These allegations are so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one!! Whomever would commit such a crime against a minor should be locked away, would you not agree? These alleged victims would deserve real justice if that were the case.” “You have made a terrible error in judgment thinking that all ‘celebrities’ are the same. I’m not from your moral world. I’m a young man who made it out of the project of Brooklyn,” the letter says. “We don’t play these types of games. We have very strict codes and honor. We protect children, you seem to exploit people for personal gain. Only your network of conspiracy theorists, fake physics, will believe the idiotic claims you have levied against me that, if not for the seriousness surrounding harm to kids, would be laughable.” Carter also expressed distress over his family being affected by the allegations, including his children. pic.twitter.com/jl8sgOllCM — Roc Nation (@RocNation) December 9, 2024 The lawsuit was originally filed by Buzbee against Combs in October. It was re-filed on Sunday to include Jay-Z as an additional defendant. The document states that the alleged victim was dropped off by a friend at the VMAs at Radio City Music Hall. She did not have a ticket and attempted to gain entry to the show and after-parties by approaching limo drivers. A driver who allegedly worked for Combs at the time spoke with the plaintiff, identified as Jane Doe, and said she “fit what Diddy was looking for.” The Jane Doe said she was taken to a house and witnessed partygoers doing drugs such as marijuana and cocaine. She was given a drink, which she claims made her feel “woozy, lightheaded and felt [like] she needed to lie down.” Jane Doe went into a room and lay on a bed, she stated, which is when Diddy and Jay-Z allegedly entered the room. Combs is accused of saying, “You are ready to party!” That’s when she claims Carter held her down and raped her while Combs and an unnamed female celebrity watched, followed by Combs allegedly raping her while the woman stayed and observed. The plaintiff said she “grabbed her clothes” and left the party. She then called her father from a gas station. Diddy is currently in prison awaiting his trial on racketeering and sex trafficking by force.

Ex-CENTCOM Chief On Syria’s Collapse: ‘Not Sure It’s Ultimately Going To Be Good News For Syria’

Former CENTCOM commander retired General Frank McKenzie said during an interview over the weekend that the collapse of the Syrian government may not be a good thing for the people of the country, despite Western media cheering the downfall of Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad. McKenzie made the remarks during a Sunday interview with ABC News’ Martha Raddatz on “This Week” when responding to the country’s stunning collapse after terrorists launched an aggressive offensive from the north just a little over a week ago. “Over the last 48 hours, it has been a remarkable chain of events,” he said. “You know, bad news for a lot of people, less clear who the good news is going to be for.” He said that there was probably less danger for U.S. forces in the region since the collapse of the country put Russia and Iran on their heels. “One of the best equipped, best trained, and most capable forces in all of Syria today is actually our Kurdish partners east of the Euphrates River,” he said. “They’ll be able to defend themselves. I’m confident of that.” He said that Russia, Iran, and Lebanese Hezbollah were the big losers from Assad being forced out of power. CHECK OUT THE DAILY WIRE HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE “For all three of these entities, this is bad news because now they had a partner, not necessarily a good and capable partner, but a partner, and he is gone,” he said. “He’s left the stage, so they’re going to have to negotiate with who comes in. So it’s bad news for them.” “It’s less obvious who it’s good news for,” he continued. “I’m not sure it’s ultimately going to be good news for the people of Syria. You know, we could have an Islamic State arise there, which will have profound negative implications across the region. That is possible. There are other possibilities as well, and I think in the next 48, 72, 96 hours, this will begin to become clearer to us.” McKenzie noted that the leader of the terrorist group has a $10 million bounty on his head from the U.S. government because “he has a significant track record.” “Certainly he could advance new ideas coming in,” he said. “It’s been my experience, though, that typically they don’t.” WATCH: “The Iranians, Lebanese Hezbollah and, in fact, the Russians are all on their back heels now as a result of what has just happened in Syria,” former CENTCOM commander Frank McKenzie says after Bashar al-Assad’s government appears to fall to rebels. https://t.co/OKdyQuTGle pic.twitter.com/rrrjwuoByR — This Week (@ThisWeekABC) December 8, 2024

Amanpour Touts 'Very Brave' Hillary and 'Amazing' Michelle Cover Stories for VOGUE

On Friday, Christiane Amanpour’s show on PBS touted a new exhibition by Vogue magazine on the history of the runway show in London, “taking visitors for a catwalk down memory lane.” Then they replayed a 2019 interview with Vogue editor Anna Wintour gushing over wonderful Democrats like Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama on the cover. This felt a little like another diss at Melania Trump, who did not appear on the cover. Back then Melania  put out a statement through her press secretary Stephanie Grisham: “This just further demonstrates how biased the fashion magazine industry is, and shows how insecure and small-minded Anna Wintour really is.” Amanpour’s show wasn’t replaying that opinion. They did refer multiple times to Vogue as a “fashion bible,” including on the question of First Ladies on the cover: Just weeks before Melania Trump becomes First Lady again, Christiane Amanpour's show on PBS (and CNN International) rehashes "amazing" VOGUE cover stories on "very brave" Hillary Clinton and that "role model" Michelle Obama with magazine editor Anna Wintour (D-Snobtopia). pic.twitter.com/AMDmuae6I9 — Tim Graham (@TimJGraham) December 9, 2024 AMANPOUR: Your magazine, the most important fashion bible in the world, does profile some very, very important women who are in politics. Tell me about that. I mean, you're overtly political in your profiles and in what you stand for. WINTOUR: I think one has to be fair. One has to look at all sides. But I don't think it's a moment not to take a stand. I think you can't be everything to everybody. We profile women in the magazine that we believe in the stand that they're taking on issues. We support them in the fact that we feel that they are leaders. That particularly after the defeat of Secretary Clinton in 2016 that we believe that women should have a leadership position, and that we intend to support them. AMANPOUR: I was really interested to hear that -- I believe Secretary Clinton, when she was first lady, was the first lady to be on the cover of Vogue? WINTOUR: She was....I think it was a time when I felt that the first lady at that time had behaved in a very brave way. AMANPOUR: Was this in surviving the slings and arrows of her husband's accusations and the impeachment -- WINTOUR: Slings and arrows of misfortune, yes. So, I -- we felt it was the time to, you know, to support her and to stand up for women [?] and it was -- we were very honored that she agreed to be our cover at that time. And we were also very honored obviously. I think Mrs. Obama was on the cover three times while she was in the White House. Polishing Mrs. Obama's apple is mandatory: AMANPOUR: What does she mean to you? I mean, she's not just an amazing role model. WINTOUR: I think Mrs. Obama redefined the role of the first lady. I mean she was so open to everybody. She made the White House a place for everyone. I mean, and she was just so, I think, inspiring to so many women and obviously on a very selfish note speaking as the editor-in-chief of Vogue, she did wonders for fashion. She loved fashion. And -- AMANPOUR: And high and low, right? WINTOUR: -- she mixed high and low. She supported designers that one has never heard of. And, you know, we have always had the tradition at Vogue to photograph first ladies when they first came in to office and some extraordinary wonderful women. And it was an honor to photograph them, but they were always super cautious about what they wanted to wear and the image that they wanted to present, nearly always a jacket, you know, maybe some pearls if you are Mrs. Bush. But, with Mrs. Obama, you know, she was fearless. And it was such a joy for all of us that work in fashion.
