Did Russell Moore just call Allie Beth Stuckey a Nazi?

Pro-lifers have been thrown behind bars for peacefully protesting the killing of unborn babies at abortion clinics, and Allie Beth Stuckey of “Relatable” has seen it for what it is. It’s the persecution of Christians, which she explained in a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) as “the least of these.” “‘The least of these’ is referring to persecuted Christians, not the poor. So, I’m voting for the set of policies that will best protect the truly least of these: Jack Phillips, Joan Bell, David Daleiden & other believers who have had their lives ruined by progressive activists. No chance I could vote for the party that routinely targets Christians for harassment, discrimination & lawfare,” Stuckey wrote. “I hear a lot from Christians who are voting Democrat that they are voting for the least of these, they are voting for the most vulnerable, they’re voting for the poor, and they see the Democrat Party as the party that is helping these communities,” she says. However, Stuckey believes these Democrats are outsourcing their compassion to the government. And that’s impossible, as even under the current administration that talks as if it champions the poor, you will go to jail if you can’t afford to pay your taxes. While her criticism of Democrat voting was a sound one, Russell Moore, the editor in chief of Christianity Today, went so far as to call her a “Nazi.” “If one is embarrassed by the miracles or morality of Jesus, one can always demythologize him with all the fervor of a 19th-century German scholar. If one is embarrassed by the compassion or empathy of Jesus, one can demythologize him there too, with all the frenzy of a 20th-century German soldier,” Moore wrote in a recent article. Moore went on to say that “when confronted with the suffering of human beings around you, making the point that those who are suffering are less than ‘the least of these’ is no argument at all.” “He is presupposing that I am arguing that Christians are never to care for the poor, or that the Bible never tells us to care for the poor, or that Jesus never tells us to care for the poor. That was not my argument. That is not even close to what I said,” Stuckey says. “Russell Moore is saying that because of this interpretation,” she continues, “that I am like these soldiers that put Jewish children into gas chambers. Like I just want us to really feel the weight of his words there, because just because you are good at words, just because you are a wordsmith, doesn’t mean that you can throw out comparisons to a 20th-century German soldier flippantly.” “I just want to sit in this for a second. He just likened me, a mom of three, trying to navigate the craziness of our culture, which with as much clarity and courage as God can give me, someone that he disagrees with politically and I guess theologically, to a soldier who placed innocent Jewish children and babies in concentration camps.” “That’s how Russell Moore, the editor in chief of Christianity Today, functions, argues, disagrees with a believer,” she adds. 'Word salad city': Media liberals recognize that Harris' CNN town hall was a total disaster

Kamala Harris' Potemkin town hall with Liz Cheney Monday in Michigan was not the winning performance her campaign was likely banking on. She had yet another opportunity this week, however, to convince voters that she deserves their vote and to do so without tossing more word salads. Unfortunately for the vice president, her CNN town hall in Aston, Pennsylvania, Wednesday was an unmitigated disaster — with even friendly talking heads and former Obama adviser David Axelrod hinting as much. Former Trump campaign adviser David Urban told CNN's Van Jones, "Republicans would take another hour of Kamala Harris. We just press play and let her keep going. We'd pay for another hour ... let her keep not answering the questions." The Trump campaign has already turned at least one of Harris' responses from the town hall into a mock ad. While Harris spokesman Ian Sams later claimed his boss "isn't afraid of voters or real questions," the vice president dodged questions about the border wall, Israel, raising taxes, decriminalizing border crossings, subsidizing benefits for illegal aliens, expanding and stacking the U.S. Supreme Court, expensive groceries, and banning fracking. 'It's nothing, nothing, nothing.' "What I'm hearing from people who I've been talking to," CNN host Dana Bash noted afterward, "is that if her goal was to close the deal, they're not sure she did that." "On the question of who she is, people are understanding that a little bit more," continued Bash. "But what she will do, the question about her legislative priorities — 'name one' — there wasn't one." CNN panelist Scott Jennings noted, "She's a true double threat. She's terrible on her feet when she gets unexpected questions, and simultaneously, she can't even answer the expected questions. It's nothing, nothing, nothing." When Harris did decide to provide answers, they were frequently labyrinthine and borderline nonsensical. Democratic strategist and former Obama adviser David Axelrod told his fellow CNN panelists, "The thing that would concern me is when she doesn't want to answer a question, her habit is to kind of go to word salad city, and she did that on a couple of answers." When CNN's Anderson Cooper asked, "Is there something you can point to in your life — political life or in your life from the last four years — that you think is a mistake that you have learned from?" Harris responded: I mean, I've made many mistakes. And they range from, you know — if you've ever parented a child, you know you make lots of mistakes too. In my role as vice president, I mean I probably worked very hard at making sure that I am well versed on issues, and I think that is very important. It's a mistake not to be well versed on an issue and feel compelled to answer a question. Axelrod noted that Harris also said a whole a lot about nothing in particular when asked about Israel. "Anderson asked a direct question, would you be stronger on Israel than Trump? And there was a seven-minute answer, but none of it related to the question he was asking," said Axelrod. "And so, you know, on certain questions like that, on immigration, I thought she missed an opportunity because she would acknowledge no concerns about any of the administration's policies." When Anderson asked Harris whether she regretted working with President Joe Biden to eliminate Trump's effective border policies and open the floodgates, Harris said, "I think we did the right thing." "And that's a mistake," continued Axelrod. "Sometimes you have to concede things, and she didn't concede much." Instead of intelligibility and policy, Harris appeared focused on attacking President Donald Trump, who has begun eclipsing her in the polls. Not only did she employ the kind of incendiary rhetoric that set the stage for two known assassination attempts, at one point Harris indicated that she thinks her opponent is a fascist. Jake Tapper said, "[Harris] focused a lot more on Donald Trump, I think it's fair to say, than she did on many specifics in terms of what she would do as president." Harris' abysmal performance caused some supporters to melt down online. Former Vox associate editor and journalist Aaron Rupar tweeted, "The Kamala Harris town hall was fine. She's more than capable. Vote against the fascist, for god's sake. The end." Blaze News senior editor Cortney Weil responded to Rupar, "'She's good enough! She's smart enough! And gosh darn it, Trump's a fascist.'" More voters trust Trump over Harris on key issue

More voters across the seven battlegrounds trust former President Donald Trump to handle democracy over Vice President Kamala Harris, even as she repeatedly labels her Republican opponent a "fascist," according to a recent poll from the Washington Post. Trump holds a three-point advantage over Harris on handling threats to democracy, according to the poll released Wednesday. At the same time, Harris and her party have incessantly hammered Trump for being a "fascist," a "threat to democracy," and even likening him to Hitler over the course of the campaign.Although Harris is favored to handle social issues like abortion and health care, she is underwater on key issues like crime and immigration, according to the poll. This trend remains true across undecided voters across key states, with 32% saying they trust Trump to handle democracy while 28% said the same for Harris, according to the poll. Over a quarter of uncommitted voters in these states said they don't trust either candidate. The issue of democracy ranks relatively high to swing-state voters, with 61% overall saying it is extremely important, including 71% of Democrats, 61% of Republicans, and 55% of independents, according to the poll. Trump is also favored to handle top issues among swing-state voters. Inflation and the economy have consistently ranked as top priorities, with 66% and 65%, respectively, saying it is "extremely important" to their vote for president, according to the poll. Trump is trusted over Harris 49% to 33% to handle inflation and 51% to 36% to handle the economy. This disparity is likely attributable to the Biden-Harris administration's handling of the economy over the last three and a half years. The majority of key-state voters, 58%, said the economy is getting worse, while just 21% said it stayed the same and 21% said it got better, according to the poll. Although Harris is favored to handle social issues like abortion and health care, she is underwater on key issues like crime and immigration, according to the poll. Trump polls at 45% trust to handle crime, while Harris trails at 35%. Similarly, 52% of battleground voters trust Trump to handle immigration, while just 33% said the same for Harris. The Monster Hunter Wilds system requirements have been revealed as the hugely anticipated action adventure RPG prepares to launch its open beta. The game also supports DirectStorage, which is only accessible with an NVMe SSD and DirectX 12 GPU. This feature also usually works better with Windows 11 as opposed to with Windows 10. Final Fantasy 7 players have finally ‘solved’ one of the RPG’s greatest myths

If you’ve been playing Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and it’s your first time experiencing the world of Cloud, Shinra, Sephiroth, and co., I should advise that this article will spoil a significant part of the RPG’s story. We’re talking mysteries here - in fact, one of the biggest mysteries in PC gaming history. Final Fantasy 14 had a resurgence this year thanks to Dawntrail. FF16 finally made the leap to Steam. But long before any of that, back when the Square Enix series was still in its (relative) infancy, there was one myth that hung over the entirety of Final Fantasy 7. Now, thanks to some visionary exploits and speedrunner wisdom, it’s finally been solved - well, kind of. Windblown could be a better roguelike than Dead Cells or Hades 2, but not yet

Windblown could be a better roguelike than Dead Cells or Hades 2, but not yet

So far, Windblown is the Dead Cells successor I’ve been hoping for. While Motion Twin stays true to the foundations of its beloved 2017 roguelike, there's more than enough here to distinguish Windblown and make it feel like a completely new vision. The entire game is built around its dodge mechanic - although the dodge is a core principle in Dead Cells, Hades, and Enter the Gungeon, in Windblown it almost becomes a religion. If Motion Twin continues to build on these movement mechanics, Windblown could very well claim the roguelike crown.
