Details Of 911 Call Before Liam Payne’s Shocking Death Revealed

Details have been released about multiple 911 calls made by the hotel staff minutes before Liam Payne’s shocking fatal fall from the balcony of his hotel room in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was 31. Local reports reveal that staff was very worried about the state of the former member of One Direction, after reportedly noticing the English singer appeared to be under the influence before emergency crews responded to his fall from several stories at CasaSur Palermo Hotel, People magazine reported. According to a translation of La Nacion of the transcript of the call, the staff made it clear they needed help “urgently” — though they didn’t use his name in the call. The Associated Press reported that the hotel manager told the 911 operator about “a guest who is overwhelmed with drugs and alcohol. … He’s destroying the entire room and, well, we need you to send someone, please.” A BBC transcript stated that the staff said the person had been “trashing the entire room” before his death. Liam Payne appeared unconscious when he plummeted from hotel balcony, autopsy reveals https://t.co/bnyqmXUh2O pic.twitter.com/pvLRYIvwMb — New York Post (@nypost) October 17, 2024 Daily Mail also published pictures they claimed to have come from Payne’s hotel room showing a smashed up TV and drug paraphernalia.  In a second call, a member of the hotel staff said they worried the guest’s “life may be in danger” because he was “in a room with a balcony. We’re a little afraid that he …” the BBC reported. Sky News reported that the staff was “afraid he could do something that threatens his life,” adding that the person had been at the hotel for “three days.” The 911 operator assured the manager that emergency crews were on the way, per the outlet.  On Wednesday, Payne was found dead in the hotel courtyard after falling off the balcony of his hotel, as previously reported. The cause of death is currently listed as “multiple trauma” and “internal and external bleeding,” the Associated Press reported. An investigation into the circumstances of his death is underway. The British celebrity got his break in the music industry after appearing on “The X Factor” in 2008. He returned to the reality competition show two years later along with Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik, the singers who would become the popular band One Direction. The band split up in 2016, with members deciding to take off on solo careers.  Payne is survived by his 7-year-old son Bear Grey.

Border Patrol Agents Warn Of Mass Resignations If Kamala Harris Wins

Border Patrol agents are threatening to leave their jobs and warning of a mass exodus from the law enforcement agency if Vice President Kamala Harris wins the presidency in November, saying that working under the Biden-Harris administration has been “four years in hell.” The comments come as border security and illegal immigration have been ranked as some of the most important issues on the minds of voters as the election draws near. “I’m not doing this … again,” one anonymous agent said in an interview with the New York Post, going on to describe working under the Biden-Harris administration as “four years in hell.” Another agent added that “lots of guys who can retire will go” if Harris wins, but that “if Trump wins, they’ll stay.” “Under this administration, they’ve done everything they could to make our job as inefficient as possible,” one of the agents said of the Biden-Harris administration. “They can’t outwardly tell us not to do our job, but when you’re watching criminals come in and get released it sucks.” The National Border Patrol Union recently endorsed Donald Trump for president, warning that “every city, every community in this great country, is going to go to hell” if Harris beats Trump in the November 5th election. MATT WALSH’S ‘AM I RACIST?’ COMING TO DAILYWIRE+ OCT. 28 Some of the illegal aliens who entered the United States under the Biden-Harris administration are now believed to have committed violent crimes, including assaults, rapes, and murders, against American citizens. Yuma Border Patrol Chief Chris Clem also commented on the current administration, saying that it has damaged morale among Border Patrol agents. “The morale has never been as low in the Border Patrol, but under the Biden-Harris administration and her current ads, acting like she’s pro-border security is just putting salt on an already gaping wound for the morale of border Border Patrol agents and law enforcement.” Harris recently released an advertisement in which she markets herself as a “border state prosecutor,” with one shot even featuring an image of the border wall constructed under the Trump administration. Another advertisement stated that “Kamala Harris supports increasing the number of Border Patrol agents.” Harris’ pivot on immigration comes as the Biden-Harris administration has presided over a historic increase in illegal immigration on both the southern and northern border. More than 10 million people have crossed the border under the Biden-Harris administration, with an estimated 1.7 million illegal immigrant gotaways recorded since Biden was inaugurated in 2021. There were a total of 415,000 reported gotaways for 2018, 2019, and 2020 during the Trump administration. Recent polling has found that a majority of voters do not believe that Vice President and Democratic candidate for president Kamala Harris has “clearly explained” her policy stances concerning illegal immigration.

Henry Winkler Hilariously Recalls The “Salary” He Earned For “The Waterboy” & You’ll Be Shocked

For most of our lives, we’ve been made to believe that celebrities are all extremely rich and have big paychecks. Ocassionally, some stars shine a bit brighter than others, but if they’re on our TV or movie screen, they must be getting a fat check, right? Actually, maybe not. Henry Winkler claims he quite literally earned crumbs for his role in the 1998 Adam Sandler film The Waterboy. View this post on Instagram A post shared by New York Post (@nypost) Adam Sandler Personally Called Henry Winkler For A Favor Henry told Kelly Ripa’s Let’s Talk Off-Camera podcast Adam, “Called me up in the middle of the night. He said, ‘Henry, I need a favor. My actor didn’t show up. I need you to drive right now to the park in LA.'” Of course, Henry is a pro and knew that he wanted to help his pal out. He told Kelly he got up and dressed, shaved, and drove to the park at 3:30 in the morning to help Adam.  Stars often keep their salary under wraps, but we love it when they dish the dirt on pay. Luckily, Henry wasn’t shy and told Kelly, “Do you know what I got? A cookie.” Surprisingly, Henry and Adam have worked together several times, and Kelly was shocked by the pay. She asked, “There’s no Maserati for Henry Winkler?” “I didn’t even get to keep my wardrobe,” Henry joked. Even though he didn’t get rich from the movie, Henry adores Adam. “I love him.” Henry called Adam wacky, loyal, funny, and a family man. “He is whatever you imagine.” This Story’s Featured Image Is By Getty Images. Why Are Cats Called Pussycats? A Brief History of the Term

The post Why Are Cats Called Pussycats? A Brief History of the Term by Ashley Bates appeared first on Catster. Copying over entire articles infringes on copyright laws. We might have moved away from the term ‘pussycat’ when referring to a feline, it went through the process of relating to cats, then relating to ladies, then becoming a 2000s girl band sensation! But where did the terminology come from? We have a little 411 on this term so you can understand how it came to be what it is today. Pussycat in Reference to Four-Legged Feline Friends The term “pussy” might seem like a naughty word these days due to the offensive undertones. But did you know that it is a noun that actually means cat? The term “puss” was commonly used all the way back to the 1500s. “Puss” comes from the Germanic root word for cat. So it quite literally translates to its intended purpose. How did the term evolve into pussycat? We don’t know. That’s just how language changes over time. For example, it was argued in 1913 in Webster’s Revised Unabridged Dictionary that “pussy” was a version of “pursy”—meaning “short-winded” or “fat”. But traditionally speaking, this term was coined for cats. So, they are definitely the originators. Pussycat in Slang Pussycat is a very well known slang term. It began in the 17th century but rose in popularity in roughly the 1950s and is even still occasionally used today. Pussycat was simply a term used to describe young girls and women. Often, it signified modesty or gentleness. However, there are other ways pussycat can be used—generally marking a sexually attractive woman back in the day. Men would use this term much like “doll” or “dame.” Image Credit: Gunnar Rathbun, Shutterstock Pop Bands Don’t you wish your girlfriend was hot like me? The term Pussycat can easily be linked back to all the kids that grew up through the early 2000s. The Pussycat Dolls was a pop band of women whose songs will get stuck in your head in a New York minute. There was also the show Josie and the Pussycats that first aired in the 1970s about an all-girl rock band. Other Animals Interestingly enough, in both English and German, pussy was a word that also referred to rabbits or hares. In the 19th century, it was commonly referred to as anything that was soft or furry. Even the genus of tree called a pussy willow was named after its fluffiness. Conclusion Now you know a little more history on the term pussycat. While it was traditionally used for our furry feline friends for millennia, it has certainly taken on some interesting turns. This word has certainly made a mark on human history. The First Amendment Was ‘the Most Revolutionary Part of the American Revolution,’ Law Professor Turley Says

“Free Speech defines us, and that is the awakening that we all have to try to work towards,” George Washington University Law School professor Jonathan Turley says.  Turley made his remarks on this week’s episode of “The Kevin Roberts Show” podcast.  In his recent book, published in June, “The Indispensable Right: Free Speech in an Age of Rage,” Turley explored why people need free speech to be fully human.   “But, most importantly, what this book tries to say is that we’ve gone through ages of rage, perhaps not as rageful as this one, but we’ve survived,” he said. “But what we’ve learned is that rage doesn’t define us.”  Although governments can reduce people’s appetite for free speech, they can never kill people’s taste for it, Turley said.  “The most revolutionary part of the American Revolution was the First Amendment,” the law professor said. “No nation had ever stated the protection of free speech as succinctly and absolutely as we did, saying that you simply could not abridge [freedom of speech], period.”  But freedom of speech is under attack by many Americans in academia, said Turley, a frequent guest commentator on the Fox News Channel.  “I have a colleague who is leading an effort to amend the First Amendment, because she says that it’s too aggressively individualistic,” he said. “And these are popular views today in academia, and the result is an alliance that we’ve never seen before.”  Every generation thinks they have a unique reason to silence others, Turley said in the podcast.  “In the history of humanity, no censorship system has ever worked,” he said. “It’s never stopped a single idea or a single movement.”  You can hear more of what Turley has to say about America’s periods of rage, the preservation of free speech, and what Americans can do to stand up for their rights here: The post The First Amendment Was ‘the Most Revolutionary Part of the American Revolution,’ Law Professor Turley Says appeared first on The Daily Signal.
