They Thought They Would Adopt a Cat and One of Her Kittens but Walked Out with Sweetest Outcome Possible

A family thought they would adopt a cat and one of her kittens but walked out with the sweetest outcome possible. ExploitsValleySPCAWhen a striped feline crew arrived at Exploits Valley SPCA, they were full of love and hope, ready to wriggle their way into someone's heart."A beautiful tabby mom came to our shelter with four tabby babies - one boy and three girls," the SPCA shared. "Mama Squirt is the most docile, friendly, easygoing kitty, and she's done the best job raising her kittens to be just like her. They all love attention, people, and playing."The kittens never lacked an ounce of love and quickly outgrew their nursery kennel, ready to explore the world beyond. ExploitsValleySPCAThe moment they moved into their new room at the shelter, they took off, bouncing off the walls and chasing each other with unbridled energy. They zipped around their mom in a flurry of tiny paws and playful chaos, occasionally pouncing on her for added fun.The kittens surrounded their tower of tracks toy, batting at the balls simultaneously while one of them hopped atop the tower for good measure. ExploitsValleySPCAMama Squirt was delighted to have more room to stretch and relax after spending so much time in the kennel. She watched the kittens tear through the place while waiting for the right family to come find them. With a heart of gold, she showered the staff and volunteers with purrs and gentle snuggles. ExploitsValleySPCAAfter raising her last litter, she would never have to worry about food and shelter or go through another pregnancy. When they were ready to find their forever homes, Pikachu, the only boy from the litter, quickly secured a loving family. Meanwhile, his mom and sisters, Mew, Meowth, and Eevee, patiently awaited their turn. ExploitsValleySPCACrystal opened her home and her heart to Pikachu but never stopped thinking about the rest of the tabby crew. She introduced her newly adopted kitten to her dear friends, Harry and Denise Hutchings, and their hearts flipped."Crystal thought they would be the perfect home for the mom and a sibling and convinced them to at least come have a look." ExploitsValleySPCAThey agreed, and Harry visited the shelter shortly after. He didn't intend to adopt that day, but the gazing eyes from the mom and the kittens instantly tugged at his heartstrings, and he wanted to help."He decided to foster the tabby family to give our crowded shelter a break. He took home mom and her remaining three babies." ExploitsValleySPCASquirt and her kittens quickly settled into their foster home, running around as if they had always lived there. From that day on, the house was constantly filled with joy and laughter. The family's hearts swelled as they witnessed the mama's unconditional love and the kittens' endless mischievous antics. Harry and DeniseA few weeks after Harry brought them home, he and his family decided to keep the mom and one of her kittens and "return the others to the shelter to find homes," or so they thought. As the day to return the kittens drew near, they found themselves falling more in love with all of them. "When the fateful day arrived, Harry brought the kittens in, but they never left the carrier." Harry and his family decided to adopt the mom and her three kittensHarry and Denise"Instead of bringing two kittens back for adoption, he left the shelter with four adoption papers. A four-way adoption."Now Mudder, Sook, Coyot, and Runt have scored the perfect home with the Hutchings and will spend the rest of their lives together. PBS’s Barron-Lopez Brings on Hysterical Historian to Tag Trump as a Tyrant

The online headline captured the tone of Monday’s PBS News Hour segment from the dueling Trump and Harris presidential campaigns: “Trump ramps up his dangerous political rhetoric in final weeks of campaign.” Taxpayer-supported PBS even let its gross partisanship show while showcasing the segment on X: "On the campaign trail, Vice President Kamala Harris is working to shore up support from Black voters while former President Donald Trump is increasing his extreme political rhetoric. @lbarronlopez reports." That would be Laura Barron-Lopez, the News Hour’s most partisan reporter. Anchor Amna Nawaz introduced Barron-Lopez’s report from the campaign trail, with Donald Trump stumping in Pennsylvania and Kamala Harris in North Carolina. Laura Barron-Lopez: This afternoon, Kamala Harris jetted off to the country's largest battleground state. The vice president is doing in Pennsylvania as she did in North Carolina over the weekend, energizing black voters. Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump increased his extreme rhetoric, describing some American citizens as enemies. Donald Trump: I think the bigger problem is the enemy from within. Barron-Lopez: In a FOX News interview yesterday, Maria Bartiromo asked Trump whether or not Election Day would be peaceful. Trump: We have some very bad people. We have some sick people, radical left lunatics. And I think they're the -- and it should be very easily handled by -- if necessary, by National Guard or, if really necessary, by the military. New York University professor Ruth Ben-Ghiat, a recurring PBS favorite, did what she does best: Wax hysterical on anything a Republican says, no matter how unhinged it makes her look. (Remember her 2023 attack on Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for sensibly suggesting cellphones be banned from classrooms? She tweeted, then deleted: "He is so dangerous in every way. Truly an authoritarian personality.”) Ruth Ben-Ghiat, NYU History Professor: This kind of terminology is the terminology of dictators. Barron-Lopez: Ruth Ben-Ghiat is an American historian and scholar. Ben-Ghiat: Initially -- and he's been doing anti-immigrant rhetoric since 2015 -- it was keeping people out so that you should militarize the border. But now it's the enemy within. And that enemy can be anywhere, even in the Heartland, such as Aurora or Springfield. And, thus, he's talking about using various types of armed forces, National Guard and, he says, even the military, to go and liberate these territories. And this is very dangerous rhetoric. It's turning armed force against a domestic population, and that's what dictators have done in the past. There was a distinct vibe shift when Barron-Lopez checked in from the Harris campaign. Laura Barron-Lopez: Across the country, at her own rally in Greenville, North Carolina, Harris, who released her own medical records on Saturday, took a swing at the former president's lack of transparency. Note that this comes after the media spent at least four years hiding Joe Biden's clear mental decline. Kamala Harris: He refuses to release his medical records. I have done it. Every other presidential -- every other presidential candidate in the modern era has done it. He is unwilling to do a 60 Minutes interview, like every other major party candidate has done for more than half-a-century. He is unwilling to meet for a second debate. There was no mention of Harris’s notorious reluctance to do interviews before her recent media blitz. This segment was brought to you in part by Raymond James financial advisers. A transcript is available, click “Expand.” PBS News Hour 10/14/24 7:13:39 p.m. (ET) Host Geoff Bennett: Turning our focus now to the 2024 presidential race, over the weekend, Vice President Kamala Harris made stops in North Carolina while out West, former President Donald Trump ratcheted up his political rhetoric. But, tonight, both candidates are in opposite corners of one of the most important states in this election. That's Pennsylvania. Laura Barron-Lopez has our report. Donald Trump, Former President of the United States (R) and Current U.S. Presidential Candidate: I think the bigger problem is the enemy from within. Laura Barron-Lopez: In a FOX News interview yesterday, Maria Bartiromo asked Trump whether or not Election Day would be peaceful. Donald Trump: We have some very bad people. We have some sick people, radical left lunatics. And I think they're the — and it should be very easily handled by — if necessary, by National Guard or, if really necessary, by the military. Ruth Ben-Ghiat, NYU History Professional: This kind of terminology is the terminology of dictators. Laura Barron-Lopez: Ruth Ben-Ghiat an American historian and scholar. Ruth Ben-Ghiat: Initially — and he's been doing anti-immigrant rhetoric since 2015 — it was keeping people out so that you should militarize the border. Laura Barron-Lopez: Trump's choice language didn't stop at FOX News. On Saturday, he described American towns as being invaded at a rally in Coachella, California. Donald Trump: We're like an occupied country. We got people taking over parts of Colorado. We have people taking over other states. November 5, 2024, will be liberation day in America, liberation day. Ruth Ben-Ghiat: This is a strategy. The ultimate goal is to convince Americans that democracy is failing and that strongman leadership to fix everything, and Donald Trump will say, I alone can fix it, is supposed to be the answer. And so as soon as he would take over and go back to the White House, all of our problems would be solved. But this is based on a fictional reality that's been created by disinformation. Laura Barron-Lopez: In Prescott Valley, Arizona, this weekend, Trump made a new immigration pledge, to add 10,000 agents to Border Patrol ranks and bump up their salaries. Donald Trump: After I win, I will be asking Congress immediately to approve a 10 percent raise, haven't had one in a long time, for all agents, at a $10,000 each retention and signing bonus. So we're going to retain them. We're going to retain them. Laura Barron-Lopez: Across the country, at her own rally in Greenville, North Carolina, Harris, who released her own medical records on Saturday, took a swing at the former president's lack of transparency. Kamala Harris, Vice President of the United States (D) and U.S. Presidential Candidate: He refuses to release his medical records. I have done it. Every other presidential — every other presidential candidate in the modern era has done it. He is unwilling to do a "60 Minutes" interview, like every other major party candidate has done for more than half-a-century. He is unwilling to meet for a second debate. Laura Barron-Lopez: Back in Pennsylvania where the stakes couldn't be higher, this festival in Greeley described by vendors as three days of God, guns and motorcycles, drew huge crowds of Trump voters. With November 5 just three weeks away, die-hard Trump supporters are counting down the days. Todd Herhart, Voter: We're 23 days away from the election. And the days drag. It's like a 10-year-old waiting for Santa Claus to come. The days just can't get here fast enough. Laura Barron-Lopez: For the "PBS News Hour," I'm Laura Barron-Lopez.

SHOCKING security gaps EXPOSED in Mayorkas' CBS interview

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas may already have been impeached, but he’s still dodging critical questions. Namely, questions about the Afghan national recently arrested for planning an Election Day terrorist attack on Americans. In an interview with CBS’ Margaret Brennan, Mayorkas was asked what the status is with the would-be ISIS terrorist’s arrest. “He was in this country; he had immigration status; was he radicalized before he came to the United States?” Brennan asked. “It is an ongoing prosecution, so I won’t speak of the facts, but the viewing public is getting an idea of the breadth and diversity of the missions that we in the Department of Homeland Security tackle,” Mayorkas said in the common avoidance fashion Americans have gotten too used to. “But it gets to the issue of vetting versus whether he was radicalized here,” Brennan interjected. “Remember, the individual came in through parole, an Afghan national, and when we vet, and we do so intensively,” Mayorkas responded. Pat Gray and Keith Malinak of “Pat Gray Unleashed” are horrified by his lack of answer and what this means for American national security. “If it’s such a great screening and vetting process,” Malinak begins, before Gray finishes, “How’d he get in?!” Want more from Pat Gray?To enjoy more of Pat's biting analysis and signature wit as he restores common sense to a senseless world, subscribe to BlazeTV — the largest multi-platform network of voices who love America, defend the Constitution, and live the American dream.

EXCLUSIVE! Trans 'Bachelorette' contestant: I faked it the whole time

I'm a man, man! That was the bombshell trans "Bachelorette" star Josh Seiter dropped on BlazeTV's "Prime Time with Alex Stein" yesterday.'Any biological man putting on womanface and putting on makeup is pulling a stunt. They are faking being a woman. So what I did was I faked being a faker.' The revelation came mere months after the comely contestant announced he was transitioning from male to female.Lipstick on a fib The sit-down with Stein began as just another act of representation, business as usual for a hirsute and jacked woman determined to live her truth. But the mood quickly shifted from trans joy to "trans? Oy!" as Seiter removed his makeup and addressed Stein transwoman-to-man one last time. "For the last five months I've been conducting a social experiment online to expose how gullible and how delusional the left is," said Seiter as he settled back into the gender he was assigned at birth. Seiter's harsh characterization of the many displays of allyship that greeted his transition struck some as ungrateful. Pink punk'd While acknowledging the impressive effort Seiter put into his ruse, Pink News writer Amelia Hansford asserted that the LGBTQ+ community wasn't even mad. "Seiter spent months posting a total of 131 Instagram posts and 108 reels to convince people he was trans, and for what? To convince people that queer folk accept anyone?" "What he’s missing in all of this is that trans people owe him nothing," continued Hansford indifferently. "Neither do their friends, allies or family who choose to stay in their lives and support them. Seiter’s warped standards for what it means to be a woman, cis or trans, mean nothing. They’re worse than nothing." Meanwhile, Seiter suggested it is the trans ideologues who push "warped standards." Mad about Mulvaney "Any biological man putting on womanface and putting on makeup is pulling a stunt. They are faking being a woman. So what I did was I faked being a faker," said Seiter. It was a performance as stunning in its way as former Bud Light spokesperson Dylan Mulvaney's viral documentation of his "girlhood." In fact, Seiter is the first to admit that Mulvaney was a huge inspiration in conveying his message. "It's very insulting to women to say we have shared experiences," said Seiter — something he found perfectly expressed by Mulvaney's "over-the-top," minstrel-like depiction of femininity. "Autogynephelia is when men are turned on by seeing themselves as women," Seiter added. To watch the whole conversation between Stein and the all-new male Seiter, check out the full episode of "Prime Time with Alex Stein" below:

Liberals lash out at ABC News reporter for debunking Harris attack on Trump's musical town hall: 'Absolutely disgusting'

Many on the left went on the attack against ABC News reporter Terry Moran after he defended former President Donald Trump against a talking point pushed by the Harris-Walz campaign. Trump decided to end questions midway through a town hall event in Oaks, Pennsylvania, after two attendees suffered separate health emergencies and then played his favorite music for about half an hour. While some in the audience left, most stayed and enjoyed the party, as reported by Moran. 'TerryMoran what in the holy f*** is wrong with you?' "While in certain quarters of social media people had a field day with that, and I guess on the screens it might have looked quite strange, inside that hall, however, people were having a good time," said Moran. "What can I tell you? It did not seem out of the ordinary. It seemed almost intimate." The Harris campaign tried to imply that the incident was evidence of cognitive and mental diminishment in the former president, and many on the left were furiously angry that ABC News did not support the accusations. Trump-haters on social media demanded that Moran lose his job over the report. "This is an abdication of the basic principles of journalism @TerryMoran! at this point I actually agree with Trump. We should revoke network licenses, because they making American less informed," responded actor Anthony Atamanuik. "Delete your career, Terry, this is a dereliction of journalistic duty," said one critic on the X platform. "This story is f***ing malpractice. Shame on your Terry Moran." "Where were the people who should have shut this down & admonished Moran?" asked reporter Donna Young. "Good god @TerryMoran what in the holy f*** is wrong with you?" said another detractor. "Absolutely disgusting @ABC and @TerryMoran. This is why no one takes mainstream media seriously anymore," read another response. Among those who kept pushing the narrative despite it getting debunked was actress Barbra Streisand, who is known as a vocal liberal who hates Donald Trump and his supporters. "This is not normal. Particularly for someone running for President," she posted. "He stood there and swayed for over 30 minutes. Something is very off with this man’s brain." Like Blaze News? This deadly experiment endangered Trump’s life — and imperils public safety

The near assassination of Donald Trump on July 13 at a campaign event in Butler, Pennsylvania, serves as a chilling reminder of the dangers in today’s political landscape. A 20-year-old shooter breached the Secret Service’s security perimeter with a rifle, firing multiple rounds from an elevated position just 150 yards from the stage. Trump sustained a superficial wound to his right ear, and tragically, an attendee was killed. Former Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle called it “the most significant operational failure at the Secret Service in decades.”Questions surrounding the incident continue to grow. One of the most glaring concerns is the behavior of multiple Secret Service agents, who appeared overwhelmed by the situation. They struggled with basic tasks, such as handling and holstering their service weapons. This incident has intensified scrutiny of federal law enforcement hiring practices, but Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas dismissed these concerns as “baseless and insulting.”The Secret Service’s poor performance after the attack on Trump underscores that public safety is not the place for social experimentation. The Secret Service agents’ conduct on July 13 is the troubling result of a new initiative spreading throughout American law enforcement: the 30x30 Initiative.According to its website, the 30x30 Initiative aims to “advance the representation and experiences of women in policing agencies across the United States.” The program seeks to “increase the representation of women in police recruit classes to 30% by 2030 and ensure police policies and culture support the success of qualified women officers throughout their careers.” In 2022, the U.S. Marshals Service became the 200th agency to sign the 30x30 pledge, and the Justice Department announced its collaboration with the initiative. All outward appearances indicate the 30x30 Initiative is another example of leftist, woke ideology worshiping at the secular altar of diversity, equity, and inclusion. However, a closer look at the principles and goals behind the initiative reveals a more insidious intent. If left unchecked, it could erode America’s ability to ensure public safety, advancing a cultural Marxist agenda under the guise of “female empowerment.”The 30x30 Initiative’s website offers resources and summaries explaining its agenda. One document, titled “What Works: The Social Science Research Behind Advancing Women in Policing, Recruitment & Assessment,” states that “policing is a traditionally male-dominated profession, and even today, white, heterosexual men comprise the majority of law enforcement.” It also describes a “culture of homophobia” and criticizes how sexual and racial minority officers must conform to “performative heterosexuality or masculinity.” Additionally, the pamphlet claims that “white culture is a source of decreased retention for women officers.”Another document, “What Works: The Social Science Research Behind Advancing Women in Policing, Retention & Culture,” critiques police physical fitness tests, arguing that they “advantage younger and male recruits by emphasizing upper-body strength.” It further claims that “minority recruits are negatively impacted by ‘job knowledge’ tests due to deep-seated economic, social, and educational inequality.” Finally, the document states that “female officers are subject to restrictive policies regulating the exact lengths of their hair and banning makeup and other accessories.”A quick look at these claims might lead a casual observer to dismiss the 30x30 Initiative as misguided, woke dogma. However, a deeper analysis reveals a more radical agenda.American policing has historically been a male-dominated field because of the nature of the work. The job involves irregular hours and heightened physical danger and requires participants to be willing and able to use force. Biology equips men with the psychological predisposition and physical strength to handle these demands.Dress codes are common in every workplace. In law enforcement, uniform and grooming standards promote safety, as long hair can become a liability during use-of-force situations. Additionally, the pressure to conform to workplace culture exists across all industries and is one of the main reasons employees leave jobs within their first year.Law enforcement demands significant physicality. While handling a combative arrestee or chasing a fleeing suspect may make up a small portion of a police officer’s day, officers must always be prepared and capable of performing these tasks. Professional baseball players are expected to hit pitches traveling over 90 miles per hour. Although the total time spent reacting to pitches in a game is only a few seconds, a player who can’t hit the ball hurts the team. The stakes are higher for police officers. Reduced physical and job-knowledge standards jeopardize the lives of fellow officers and citizens when officers lack the strength, stamina, and expertise necessary to perform their duties adequately. There’s also the issue of the 30x30 Initiative’s desire to eliminate “white culture.” In 2020, the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture released — and quickly retracted — a chart listing characteristics of “white culture.” The list included self-reliance, objective thinking, hard work, respect for authority, delayed gratification, rigid time schedules, politeness, and adherence to English common law. It’s absurd to attribute these qualities to a particular race, yet all are essential for effective law enforcement. The failed attempt on Donald Trump’s life on July 13 should be remembered as an infamous date in American history. As the country grapples with unanswered questions surrounding the events of that day, one issue should be settled: Whether driven by a misguided commitment to diversity or Marxist ideologies, the federal government’s embrace of the 30x30 Initiative is a dangerous mistake. The Secret Service’s poor performance after the attack underscores that public safety is not the place for social experimentation. If Donald Trump returns to office, he could safeguard his own well-being — and that of the American people — by withdrawing the federal government from the 30x30 Initiative and refocusing federal law enforcement on public safety rather than radical gender and racial identity politics.
