MRC’s Houck Joins Fox News to Sound Off on State of 2024 Race, Biden Undermining Kamala

Making his return Friday to Fox News @ Night, NewsBusters Managing Editor Curtis Houck sat on the show’s opening panel to analyze the state of the 2024 presidential race, noting the left’s “really desperate” to steer the election toward their preferred outcome by “shaming” minorities who’ve increasingly moved right. Houck also joined in at the end for the show’s daily segment, The Nightcap, which asked Houck and four others whether President Joe Biden is undermining Vice President Kamala Harris’s presidential aspirations. Going back to the beginning, fill-in host Kevin Corke brought in Houck alongside former Trump administration EPA senior counsel Samantha Dravis, explaining new polls of Hispanic voters out of Arizona and Nevada serve as “a real warning sign...for Kamala Harris.” Dracis went first, stating “there has been a trend since 2016 of Republicans gaining more support with Latino voters” with “Harris...well behind where Biden was in 2020 with Latino voters”.     Houck piled on, noting the Harris team is “hemorrhaging Hispanic support” and the concern has been really given what’s being said in “the media, we see this from our perspective at NewsBusters, and this is reflected, I guess, in the campaign messaging, they’re really desperate.” “[Y]ou see this very similarly with black men, with Barack Obama being brought in, and it’s almost a shaming, instead of grappling with the fact that Hispanics aren’t a monolith, and they are concerned about many of the same things that other Americans are concerned about: jobs, border security, crime, education, fallout from Covid, you name it,” he added, explaining the left would rather talk about abortion of January 6. Dravis argued “legal immigrants, in particular” are “outraged by the illegal immigration crisis” and “are not buying what she’s selling” since “[s]he has changed her substantive position on almost every single important policy issue.” Houck was shown a new Democratic National Committee ad that didn’t necessarily go after Donald Trump, but rather....Jill Stein, who’s running yet again on the Green Party ticket. This, he observed, was another example of the left showing an inability to accept the 2016 election, eight years later: [T]his is the same thing we see with Hillary Clinton talking about censorship. They are talking about Jill Stein again. Like, we are never going to get over 2016, are we? You know, we, as a country, we talk about 2020, 2016 is the one election that nobody really seems ready to move on from. Barack Obama, still relitigating 2016...[B]etween this and the men add that we play at the beginning the show, this was one of some of the creepiest ads I’ve seen. I mean, which side is weird? You know? The left wants to talk about J.D. Vance being weird? This is some weird stuff. At the end of the show, Houck concurred with the sentiments of his fellow panelists (former Homeland Security official Jonathan Fahey, Fox’s Chanley Painter, and our friends Spencer Brown of Townhall and Tiana Lowe Doescher of the Washington Examiner) that there’s no doubt Biden is undermining Harris (with Hurricane Milton being the latest example):      It definitely is happening and the other reason I think it's happening is because, yeah, the CNN clip you played in the tease noticed it. It really hasn't come up in the network coverage of the campaign. So, because the media aren't talking about it, I say they know it and they don't want to talk about it. Since Friday’s show, a report in Axios showed that, in fact, the five of them were spot on. To see the relevant FNC transcript from October 11, click “expand.” Fox News @ Night October 11, 2024 11:06 p.m. Eastern KEVIN CORKE: We want to continue the conversation and discuss the state of the presidential race tonight with NewsBusters managing editor, Curtis Houck, and former senior counsel at the EPA, Samantha Dravis. Samantha, let me begin with you. I want to share this presidential preference among Hispanic voters. A lot of people really curious about how well or how poorly the race may go for the existing vice president, in particular, as we take a look at the numbers you see right now, that 57 give or take to 37 in Arizona, and 56 to 39 in Nevada. Now, at first blush, you may say, eh, it looks pretty fine. But if you really drill down, that’s a real warning sign, I imagine, for Kamala Harris. SAMANTHA DRAVIS: Well, it is because there has been a trend since 2016 of Republicans gaining more support with Latino voters. But right now, Harris is well behind where Biden was in 2020 with Latino voters. Latino population obviously significant in Arizona and Nevada. I actually saw USA Today poll that showed that Latino men under the age of 49 Trump is leading by 13 points. CORKE: Wow. DRAVIS: So, these core Democrat constituencies, Harris is underperforming. She is — she is not going to get there with the way things look right now. CORKE: You know what? Speaking of that, I want to share this Curtis to get you to weigh in on it. This actually will take us back to 2020, which Samantha just referenced. This is the voter analysis, Latina or Hispanics — Biden, 63 to 35 over the former President and I think this speaks to this greater trend, especially if you go all the way back to 2012. If you are a Democrat, and you’re looking at how they’re faring with Hispanic voters, this has got to be deeply troubling. CURTIS HOUCK: Yah, they are hemorrhaging Hispanic support. I mean, the media, we see this from our perspective at NewsBusters, and this is reflected, I guess, in the campaign messaging, they’re really desperate. You know, you see this very similarly with black men, with Barack Obama being brought in, and it’s almost a shaming, instead of grappling with the fact that Hispanics aren’t a monolith, and they are concerned about many of the same things that other Americans are concerned about: jobs, border security, crime, education, fallout from Covid, you name it, you go on down the list. And that’s why the left, I think, wants to debate this election on other issues, particularly January 6, abortion, you name it, their issues. They want to fight on their turf instead of things that are popular, you know, with the American people. CORKE: Right. You nailed it. I think you make a really good point. Let me follow up and ask you about why you think this trend is shifting so dramatically, Samantha. Because Curtis really talked about some real issues, and yet, at the same time, when I look at the tabs and the breakouts, they are not buying what Kamala Harris, in particular, seems to be selling. DRAVIS: Yeah, you’re right. I mean, I think the top two issues still for all voters are the economy and immigration. I think legal immigrants, in particular, outraged by the illegal immigration crisis that they have seen under the Biden-Harris administration. You know, they are not buying what she’s selling. She has changed her substantive position on almost every single important policy issue. I think she’s coming off as disingenuous and dishonest, and that’s coming through in the polling. CORKE: You know, I’m so glad you mentioned the idea that legal immigrants have a real problem with what’s happening down at the border right now, I know many, and they are furious. They feel like this is deeply unfair. Very quickly, I want to share a quick sound bite. This is the DNC, Curtis, actually making a six-figure ad buy in many of the swing states. Listen, and then, I’ll tell you why and who this is about. DNC AD NARRATOR: Stein was key to Trump’s 2016 wins in battleground states. She’s not sorry she helped Trump win. That’s why a vote for Stein is really a vote for Trump. CORKE: First time we have seen them issue in sort of a real challenge to a third-party candidate in this way. I’ve never seen this happen, certainly not to this level. 45 seconds, Curtis. HOUCK: Yeah, I mean, this is the same thing we see with Hillary Clinton talking about censorship. They are talking about Jill Stein again. CORKE: Yes. HOUCK: Like, we are never going to get over 2016, are we? You know, we, as a country, we talk about 2020, 2016 is the one election that nobody really seems ready to move on from. Barack Obama, still relitigating 2016 as well. That’s what — between this and the men add that we play at the beginning the show, this was one of some of the creepiest ads I’ve seen. I mean, which side is weird? You know? The left wants to talk about J.D. Vance being weird? This is some weird stuff. CORKE: You know, I would love to get you to weigh in more on this, Samantha, but I don’t want to cheat you out of your time, but I will just note that in watching that ad that we just saw there, the men for the Vice President was — well, let’s just call it unique. And I’m wondering, will that resonate with women, do you think? DRAVIS: No. I don’t think it will. I think that this — this campaign is willing to do anything except take responsibility for the policies that the voters don’t like and that are not resonating with them. So, you know, it just goes back to their identity politics that this party is based around, and they don’t want to accept that that’s not really working anymore. CORKE: I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like that. Samantha Dravis, Curtis Houck, folks, thank you so much. HOUCK: Thanks, Kevin. (....) 11:52 p.m. Eastern CORKE: Curtis, how about you? HOUCK: Yeah, Kevin, I'm with Spencer on this one. It definitely is happening and the other reason I think it's happening is because, yeah, the CNN clip you played in the tease noticed it. It really hasn't come up in the network coverage of the campaign. So, because the media aren't talking about it, I say they know it and they don't want to talk about it. CORKE: Uh-huh.

CEO of Gargantuan ESG Company Defends Big Tech Monopoly on CNBC

ESG-obsessed BlackRock CEO Larry Fink strongly opposed holding Google accountable after the biased, pro-censorship search giant was declared a “monopolist” in court.  Fink went to bat for Google, Apple and Amazon in response to a question from chronically wrong CNBC host Jim Cramer on the Oct. 11 edition of Squawk on the Street. Cramer, who slavishly praised Fink throughout the segment, asked the BlackRock CEO whether the government was right to take Google to court while tussling with Amazon and Apple. The leader of a Leviathan asset manager that uses the size of its investments to pressure companies argued that Big Tech needed to stay big. “I like the U.S. position in technology, and it seems odd that we are now questioning the scale of these companies,” Fink said. “These companies actually are going to get quite a bit larger.” U.S. District Court Judge Amit P. Mehta ruled on Aug. 5 in U.S. v. Google that “Google is a monopolist and it has acted as one to maintain its monopoly.” Specifically, Mehta found that Google has a monopoly in “general search services” and “general search text ads.” Over 90 percent of internet searches take place on Google and its subsidiary YouTube, amounting to billions of searches a day. The Department of Justice is considering serious consequences for Google, including possibly forcing the tech giant to “divest its Chrome browser and its Android operating system.” Fink did not agree, casting support for Big Tech as somehow patriotic. “I'm not in agreement with the government,” he said. “They may have more knowledge than I do so I can’t speak about the specifics, but at the same time, we say that we … have a competitive advantage right now against China, and you know, the key is about our relative strength in technology, and it seems odd, at the same time we're becoming more and more dependent on our technologies, and we're now talking about breaking up these technology companies?” Rather than serve any patriotic purpose, Google exploits its massive power for partisan ends, several MRC Free Speech America studies have found. Google has interfered in American elections on behalf of its preferred candidates at least 41 times from 2008 through early 2024.  Google buried Trump’s campaign website so far down that it did not appear on the first page of results during the Republican National Convention and ahead of the July presidential debate between former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden. The search giant also did this while Trump shortly after a guilty verdict following Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s politicized prosecution of him.  More recently, Google has been caught burying the Trump campaign’s website beneath negative news about the former president, while pushing any news from American right-of-center publications deep down in the search results.   Fink’s BlackRock, which controls trillions of assets, also abuses its power. Fink has boasted that BlackRock has been "forcing behaviors" to achieve goals on gender and race. The BlackRock CEO, who has always been a huge proponent of ESG investing, continues pushing for the world to move away from cheap and abundant energy. During an October interview with leftist billionaire Michael Bloomberg’s Bloomberg TV, Fink said that “we have to be decarbonizing,” as he discussed BlackRock’s future plans for promoting infrastructure.  Conservatives are under attack! Contact your representatives and demand that Big Tech be held to account to mirror the First Amendment while providing transparency, clarity on hate speech and equal footing for conservatives. Smells Fishy: NYT Accused of Printing Article Paid for and Sourced By Green Groups

Smells Fishy: NYT Accused of Printing Article Paid for and Sourced By Green Groups

According to documents exclusively obtained by NewsBusters, the Chilean Salmon Council is accusing The New York Times of publishing an article that was paid for, sourced, and written by a web of left-leaning environmental activist groups and journalists. The accusations have so far led to an on-going internal investigation at the so-called “paper of record.” The documents allege that the August article titled “Salmon Farms in Patagonia Face Growing Opposition” was put together by three journalists with ties to an environmental journalism outfit called the Earth Journalism Network (EJN). The financial backers of EJN include several organizations that also fund the experts the journalists cited as sources in their article. The journalists in question are freelancers Lucy Meyer and Casey Ann Smith. Both reporters attended University of California Berkeley, where Meyer took part in EJN-sponsored course and Smith was the recipient of a EJN grant in 2019 (more on that grant below). Their salmon article is the only piece either reporter has authored for the Times. John Barlett, a New York Times journalist based out of Chile, is noted as a contributor to the report. Bartlett is also a contributor to Dialogue Earth, which is affiliated with EJN. One of the major accusations against the journalists and their article is the use of multiple expert sources whose organizations share revenue streams with Earth Journalism Network. For instance, the article cites “Liesbeth van der Meer, the vice president of Oceana Chile, a nonprofit conservation group.” On their website, Oceana lists the Adessium Foundation, Arcadia, Dutch Postcode Lottery, the David & Lucile Packard Foundation, and the Waitt Foundation as organizations that have “awarded” them “$500,000 or more.” All of those organizations are also “gratefully acknowledge[d]” as donors to Earth Journalism Network, on their website.     But that’s not all. The article also cites “Dr. Felipe Cabello, a professor of microbiology and immunology at New York Medical College.” He has a relationship with Oceana that dates back over a decade. The journalists also cited the work of the Monterey Bay Aquarium: Since 2014, the Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Seafood Watch, a global authority on sustainable seafood, has advised consumers to avoid most salmon farmed in Chile, citing the industry’s reliance on antibiotics. The David and Lucile Packard Foundation has given the aquarium $30,000,000 over the past six years ($5,000,000 each year). The Times article also leaned heavily on a report from the United Nations that condemned the expansion of salmon fisheries in Chile, and used it to chide the industry there: In April, a report for the United Nations called salmon farming “one of the main threats to the environment” in Patagonia. David R. Boyd, an associate professor at the University of British Columbia who prepared the U.N. report, recommended suspending “the expansion of salmon aquaculture pending independent scientific analysis of adverse environmental impacts” — a call that the industry rejected. Interestingly, the United Nations received $5.5 million in environmental funds from Bloomberg Philanthropies, which lists Chile’s waters as one of their focus points. The person leading Bloomberg’s environmental initiatives program is a woman named Antha Williams, who conveniently sits on the board of directors for Oceana, which also lists Bloomberg as a donor. It’s worth pointing out that targeting blue collar industries for destruction is in the wheelhouse of Bloomberg Philanthropies. As MSC Business Associate Editor Joseph Vazquez reported last year, the organization pledged $500 million to destroy the U.S. coal industry. The Times did admit in the article that “Early reporting was supported by a grant from Internews’ Earth Journalism Network, a nonprofit,” but didn’t disclose what that meant. In a phone call with a representative of the Chilean Salmon Council, a rough transcript of which was obtained by NewsBusters, Smith admitted that she and Meyer’s flight to Chile was paid for by EJN. “We each received $1,000 to supplement just plane tickets, essentially, and that's as much as I know about that funding, but because we did receive money, that's why that tagline was in the piece,” she said to the representative. And yet, Massimiliano Colonna, the director of communications at Internews (EJN's parent organization) was on social media praising the work EJN did for the article. "Local journalism is key to uncovering the big stories that end up on the largest new outlets. Furht proobelow-andkudos to Internews' very own Earth Journalism Network for supporting early reporting on this!" he wrote.     Internews even credited their funding of Smith and Meyer: "Lucy Meyer and Casey Ann Smith write in The New York Times about the growing opposition to Patagonia salmon farms from evironmentalists and Indigenous people in the region. Early reporting was supported by a grant from Internews' Earth Journalsim Network." Smith also denied knowing “who funds who,” but seemingly admitted that she was introduced to many of the sources they cited while on that trip: SMITH: I'm not familiar with who funds who. We spoke with people on the ground when you were in Chile, and everybody who is quoted in the story has some genesis in reporting on the ground several years back. REPRESENTATIVE: From what I can tell, Oceana, United Nations, Dr. Cabello, Monterey Bay Aquarium, all share funders with EJN. SMITH: Again, I'm not privy to the—that wasn't something that was forethought for us when we were reporting. NewsBusters also obtained an email between the representative and the Times’s communications director, Charlie Stadtlander, who insisted: “the journalists have no affiliation with EJN and this piece was reported and edited entirely independently under The New York Times's editorial direction without any contact with EJN.” That obviously does square with the fact that the origin of the report was admittedly from that EJN-funded trip to Chile. In the call, Smith denied that EJN funded their reporting, but noted that they did make early connections with some sources they cited in the article: To say that it funded the reporting is somewhat misleading, though, because there was so, so much reporting that happened totally independent of Berkeley, of grant dollars that happened for years after that, number one. And then number two, again, these were people who we were introduced to us by word of mouth on the ground or handing us somebody's business card. And there were many other folks we talked to as well, like dozens who didn't make it into the story, so I would push back on that side of things. Meanwhile, EJN has bragged about their “collaboration with NYT and others” in the past, according to their slide here:     In another letter to the Times, the representative points out that EJN doesn’t consider itself a “news outlet” but rather a vector “seeding” stories to “local, national, and international media”: Readers deserve to know that the way EJN has laundered its content through the New York Times is not happenstance, but instead the main strategic aim of its operations. As EJN’s Executive Director James Fahn–who again, was literally grading your freelancers’ reporting as their professor–explains here, “Although we republish and distribute stories we support widely, EJN is not a news outlet. We decided early on to focus on…seeding quality reporting in the local, national, and international media. This ensures that media outlets view us as a partner and supporter, rather than a competitor.” NewsBusters also obtained an email from New York Times standards editor Susan Wessling, letting the representative know they opened an investigation. “I'm writing to let you know that I've received your letter and will look into your concerns,” she said.

Tim Walz's attempt to woo men with hunting-themed photo op backfires

Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, have major issues with red-blooded American men and the Second Amendment. In a desperate effort to gain the support of the former and simulate support for the latter, Walz donned an orange hat and participated in a hunting-themed photo op on Saturday near Sleepy Eye, Minnesota. This attempt to rehabilitate Walz's public image backfired — especially after footage circulated online showing the Democratic governor struggle with his firearm. On Oct. 3, Trump campaign strategist Chris LaCivita noted on X, "Word on the street is Tampon Tim will be staging a Pheasant hunt soon ... manicured hands and all to prove that he is in fact not really a 'Beta' ... this will be fun to watch." Sure enough, following days of mockery — during which Elmer Fudd memes and AI-generated images of Walz loading a shotgun with feminine hygiene products figured prominently — the Democratic governor participated in the 12th annual Minnesota Governor's Pheasant Hunting Opening in Sleepy Eye, then promptly shared a video documenting his failure to shoot a bird. 'This is just embarrassing.' The proud gun-control supporter can be seen in the video walking around with a shotgun, chugging a diet Mountain Dew, and telling the tale of the time he allegedly "got a double." While birds safely fluttered in the distance, Walz shared a few one-liners, including, "That's why it's hunting, not shooting, right?" and "There's good days and there's great days pheasant hunting." After his not-so-great day pheasant hunting, critics seized upon a clip showing the governor struggle to load his shotgun. Former Spartanburg Police Officer Cody Garrett, writing as Donut Operator, noted on X, "For a lifelong hunter, you sure were having trouble loading your own gun." Another user wrote, "Bruh.. come on. This is just embarrassing. It's a good thing you defected before your deployment." "Tim Walz claimed he carried 'weapons of war in combat' but he can’t load a shotgun? This guy is beyond weak. My little sister could beat him up," tweeted country music singer John Rich. Rep. Derrick Van Orden (R-Wis.) was among the many who had some fun at Walz's expense, tweeting, "SLING AND A MISS." "My prediction was in fact accurate," wrote LaCivita. "Staged ..and watching him bumbling around trying to load his shot gun was fun." Referring to cable news footage of the outing, the Trump War Room noted, "MSNBC implies that Tim Walz going pheasant hunting is nothing more than a desperate attempt to make up ground with male voters. Sorry Tim, men aren't voting for a gun grabber." The Harris-Walz campaign has significant ground to make up with male voters in the final weeks before the election. A recent New York Times/Siena College poll revealed that 51% of likely male voters said they would vote for Trump. Only 40% of men said they would vote for Kamala Harris. This gendered skew is pronounced in swing states such as Arizona and Nevada, where a recent Suffolk University/USA TODAY survey indicated Hispanic men are majoritively keen to vote for Trump. Although immigration appears to be a top concern for many likely male voters who are now supporting Trump, Harris and Walz may also have alienated men with their records on gun rights. 'The hunting community, in my opinion, will vote for someone that puts America first.' The Harris campaign website indicates that if elected, she would "ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, require universal background checks, and support red flag laws that keep guns out of the hands of dangerous people." Harris previously threatened to storm the homes of law-abiding Americans for surprise gun inspections; endorsed a handgun ban without buybacks; and signed an amicus curiae brief both justifying a total handgun ban and suggesting that the Second Amendment does not secure an individual right but rather a "collective" or "militia-related" right. The Washington Post noted that unlike Harris, Walz was not always hostile to the Second Amendment, having once earned an "A" rating from the National Rifle Association. However, in recent years, he has become a zealous anti-gun activist, proudly earning nothing but straight "F" ratings and publicly blasting the NRA as "the biggest single obstacle to passing the most basic measures to prevent gun violence in America." Walz has since boasted of his efforts to ban bump stocks and assault rifles, as well as his fight to prevent concealed-carry reciprocity. In June, Walz ratified legislation banning the use of binary triggers. Last year, he ratified a raft of gun-control measures, including universal background checks and a red-flag law. Walz's photo op is unlikely to make critics forget about his record or Harris', just as it appears to have done little to win over hunters and conservationists. Gabriella Hoffman, director of the Center for Energy and Conservation at the Independent Women's Forum, told the Spectator, "No $40 camo hat will convince most sportsmen and women that Harris-Walz represents them." "Vice President Harris has been an active partner with President Biden in being the most hostile administration to shooting sports, hunting, and fishing access. Her name is co-signed on closing millions of acres of public hunting lands in Alaska, forbidding lead tackle on national wildlife refuges, and recently shutting down shooting sports opportunities in the entirety of Bears Ears National Monument — 1.3 million acres," said Hoffman. "Hunters and anglers don’t trust Harris-Walz." Derek Wolfe, host of the outdoorsman podcast "Wolfe Untamed," said, "They have made it clear that they are coming for guns, fracking, gas-powered vehicles, just to name a few. They know that 10 million hunters didn't vote in the last election, so they are reaching out, but it's a waste of their time because the hunting community, in my opinion, will vote for someone that puts America first. And I believe that man is Donald J. Trump." Like Blaze News? Bypass the censors, sign up for our newsletters, and get stories like this direct to your inbox. Sign up here!

Time magazine owner publicly chides Harris for repeatedly rejecting interviews amid her softball media blitz

Time magazine owner Marc Benioff publicly scolded Democratic presidential nominee and current Vice President Kamala Harris for rejecting multiple interview requests from the publication.Benioff, Salesforce co-founder and CEO, posted on X Sunday, stating, "Despite multiple requests, TIME has not been granted an interview with Kamala Harris—unlike every other Presidential candidate. We believe in transparency and publish each interview in full. Why isn't the Vice President engaging with the public on the same level?"In the post, Benioff added a few hashtags, including "TrustMatter," "TransparencyMatters," and "Leadership." He also linked to previous interviews Time conducted with Republican presidential nominee and former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden.Last week, Time released a new piece on the vice president titled, "What Kind of President Would Kamala Harris Be?" noting that she has spoken "infrequently to reporters.""When she does do interviews, she mostly favors local media, culture podcasts, or friendly talk shows. Harris declined repeated requests for an interview for this story," it read. "In contrast, Trump talked about his policy vision with a TIME reporter for 90 minutes across two interviews. Biden spoke to TIME at similar length before dropping out of the race."Harris' refusal to participate in an interview with the outlet has not stopped Time from publishing pieces that portray her favorably.Time named Biden and Harris the 2020 "Person of Year" for "changing the American story, for showing that the forces of empathy are greater than the furies of division, for sharing a vision of healing in a grieving world."In August, the publication released an article titled "The Reintroduction of Kamala Harris," which stated that Harris "pulled off the swiftest vibe shift in modern political history." It claimed she "packed stadiums and dominated TikTok, offering a fresh message focused on the future over the past."While Harris has largely avoided reporters, over the past week, the Democratic nominee has been on a media blitz, sitting down for friendly, softball interviews on "The View," "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert," the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, and "The Howard Stern Show."Harris also participated in a "60 Minutes" interview, which resulted in backlash after it was discovered that CBS News apparently deceptively edited one of her responses. The network is accused of removing one of Harris' word-salad responses and replacing it with a comment she provided at a different point in the interview. There have been calls, including from Trump, for CBS to release the full transcript.According to Benioff, Time guarantees that its interviews are released in full. Benioff seemed to speculate that this may be the reason Harris has refused to participate. Like Blaze News? Grab a free Steam key for Dark Sky, a new sci-fi RPG deckbuilder

Deckbuilders and RPGs are easily among our favorite genres here at PCGamesN, and when we hear about the two being combined, that's just something we have to look into. Enter Dark Sky, which takes a bit of Slay the Spire, adds a sci-fi spin and a branching skill system, and works it all into a narrative story game.
