Scientists Claim the Universe Is Alive—And Your Brain’s Tapped Into It

Scientists have long speculated about the nature of our world and consciousness, with some theories edging into the realm of quantum fiction. In pursuit of one such idea, researchers have begun developing a device designed to link the human brain with a phenomenon of universal scale. A recent study proposes that consciousness may not be exclusive to humans but could also be an inherent feature of the Universe, guided by resonant frequencies that connect all matter—from stars to cells. According to this theory, electromagnetic vibrations create a universal harmony, with human consciousness representing just one small part of a larger cosmic pattern. Anirban Bandyopadhyay is a Senior Scientist in the National Institute for Materials Science, Tsukuba, Japan. He possesses a Masters of Science in Condensed Matter Physics, Computer, Numerical Analysis, and Astrophysics from North Bengal University and a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from Jadavpur University. Researchers are now exploring how these resonances influence reality and how technology could harness them to strengthen the connection between human consciousness and the Universe. Anirban Bandyopadhyay, a senior researcher at Japan’s National Institute of Materials Science and Engineering (NIMS), studies the concept that the universe operates like a symphony of resonating frequencies. Scientist once said, “My research… has been to understand the music of nature. I believe that consciousness is nothing but the manifestation of music.” He suggests that these vibrations create a kind of resonance, amplifying natural frequencies and forming the basis of universal consciousness. Bandyopadhyay argues that human consciousness is an integral part of this broader resonance, describing it as “nature’s music.” This concept posits that the Universe itself might be conscious, with human awareness playing an active role in this vast system. Since 2008, Bandyopadhyay and his team have been developing a device called the Dodecanogram (DG) to detect these resonances within the human brain. Unlike traditional electroencephalograms, which measure brain activity within limited frequency ranges, the DG can detect frequencies up to a trillion hertz. This breakthrough has allowed them to identify 12 distinct frequency bands in the brain, significantly expanding our understanding of brain function and its connection to consciousness. Their research also includes efforts to create artificial brains based on these frequency patterns, potentially giving humans deeper insights into universal consciousness. Bandyopadhyay’s work blends quantum mechanics with elements of Hindu philosophy, particularly concerning time. He views time not as a linear progression but as a series of nested cycles—an idea reflected in the mathematical patterns seen throughout nature. Prime numbers, the Fibonacci sequence, and fractal structures—present in everything from storm formations to the human body—inform his understanding of how the universe operates. Microtubules, tiny structures within cells, especially neurons, are central to his research due to their quantum behavior, which may play a crucial role in the resonances that underpin consciousness. Bandyopadhyay and his team have discovered that microtubules resonate at frequencies far beyond the scope of conventional brain studies. The scientists’ findings suggest that consciousness extends beyond mere brain activity, emerging from harmonic resonances within cells that link individual awareness to a larger quantum universe. Ultimately, Bandyopadhyay believes that understanding these universal resonances could transform human thought from a binary, survival-driven mindset to one that is more in tune with nature’s harmony. By studying and modeling these natural patterns, he hopes to help humanity forge a deeper connection with “universal consciousness.” His research offers new perspectives on mind, time, and the interconnectedness of life, paving the way for technologies that may one day deepen our relationship with the infinite universe. CNN's Coates Attributes Harris's Struggles To 'A Society' That 'Has Elevated White Men'

CNN’s Laura Coates joined radio host Buck Sexton on Friday’s edition of Real Time with Bill Maher on HBO to try to figure out why Vice President Kamala Harris and her campaign are struggling. Sexton naturally suggested it was because people associate her with the failures of the Biden Administration, but Coates claimed it was because she is a “woman of color” in a society that “has elevated white men.” Maher began by wondering, “This week, she did a media blitz of, she went to Howard Stern and Stephen Colbert and The View, places where, you know, I would say the ass is pre-kissed… Did that help or hurt?”     Sexton claimed it was the latter, “I think Kamala Harris just had the worst week of her campaign so far, and it has been trending downward for quite some time now.” He went on to explain that Harris has a big problem: Kamala Harris has to explain, while she's a part of the Biden administration, second in command, you had some of the worst statistics you could possibly have as a politician… worst inflation in 40 years while Biden is president. First time you have over 100,000 opioid deaths while Biden was president. Probably the worst open border in the history of the country, 8 million, at least, and that’s not including the half a million a year who are got aways, so roughly 10 million people, we could call it, in four years entering illegally, almost all of whom are going to stay. As for Coates, she began, “Well, my ass has never been kissed.” Okay, but well before Harris’s recent round of softballs, there was Coates’s January interview, where she told Harris she was “struck” that Republicans would cite her as a reason to vote against Biden. After some commotion, Coates got more somber, “I think what weighs Kamala Harris down are two things that are obvious and distinguishes her from a Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden or even a Barack Obama. This is a woman of color in a society that has, as your -- just talked about, has elevated white men historically, consistently, presently, and they believe in the future as well.” Coates added, “I think those two things really can have an impact on how the electorate sees her and the viability of a woman in office, a woman at the helm, talking about global politics, people will say, ‘What would another country feel about a woman leader because there’s never been one' and so those two things don’t give her wings, they give her anchors, it's her job to elevate it.” Harris’s real anchor is not only Biden’s record, it is her history of being a far-left senator and presidential candidate. She can try to portray herself as a moderate, but she has no history of being one, so people simply don’t believe her. Here is a transcript for the October 11 show: HBO Real Time with Bill Maher 10/11/2024 10:20 PM ET BILL MAHER: This week, she did a media blitz of, she went to Howard Stern and Stephen Colbert and The View, places where, you know, I would say the ass is pre-kissed. Am I wrong?  BUCK SEXTON: No. No. MAHER: Did that help or hurt? SEXTON: No, I think Kamala Harris just had the worst week of her campaign so far, and it has been trending downward for quite some time now. Donald Trump, at this point, I think, is very likely to--almost certain to win the election and I appreciate the opportunity to tell people why – I’ll remember that by the way – Why that is. I think there are two things that are weighing her down. First of all, what led up to her campaign, just, and I'll give a quick, I know it's four years, but I'l give a quick version of it.  Kamala Harris has to explain, while she's a part of the Biden administration, second in command, you had some of the worst statistics you could possibly have as a politician. Worst, hold on, I'm going to get there, worst inflation in 40 years while Biden is president. Now, She doesn't want to throw Biden under the bus for this and she didn't want to tell everybody that he's a dementia patient. So, she decided she was going to go along -- it's just the facts everybody, you can get mad at me. She decided she was going to go along with this until it was no longer possible because of the debate and that's what she inherited. I haven't gotten to her campaign yet, but I can. MAHER: All right. LAURA COATES: Well, my ass has never been kissed. MAHER: Well. COATES: Let’s move on, Bill, shall we. MAHER: I said “pre-kissed.” COATES: It's been "pre-kissed," Okay, it’s funny when you speak in hyperboles, I think the electorate begins to distance themselves because they cannot essentially believe -- terms like “this is the worst it's ever been” when they've known the history of the country. It’s difficult for the ones left behind. I think what weighs Kamala Harris down are two things that are obvious and distinguishes her from a Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden or even a Barack Obama. This is a woman of color in a society that has, as your -- just talked about, has elevated white men historically, consistently, presently, and they believe in the future as well. And I think those two things really can have an impact on how the electorate sees her and the viability of a woman in office, a woman at the helm, talking about global politics, people will say, “What would another country feel about a woman leader because there’s never been one” and so those two things don’t give her wings, they give her anchors, it's her job to elevate it.

2017 Las Vegas shooting: When will we get the full story?

On October 1, 2017, Stephen Paddock opened fire on a crowd of about 22,000 concertgoers attending a country music festival on the Las Vegas Strip. In the space of about 10 minutes, one man killed 58 people and injured hundreds. It was a massacre that scarred the nation and became the deadliest mass shooting by a lone individual in U.S. history. Even more suspiciously, the shooter supposedly used a bump stock — an accessory that makes a rifle function like an automatic weapon but severely reduces its accuracy. Yet the most haunting aspect of it all might not be the event itself but the total lack of answers that followed. An open-and-shut case Paddock, a 64-year-old wealthy, retired accountant, had no criminal history, no clear affiliations, no public signs of radicalization. The FBI, in record time, announced that Paddock had no terrorist ties and was a lone-wolf gunman. This was declared even before a complete timeline of the massacre had been established, before the number of victims had been confirmed, before a single motive had been pinned down. It’s reasonable to wonder, loudly and unapologetically, how the FBI could have known. A crime of this magnitude, involving hundreds of rounds fired into a densely packed crowd, demands careful investigation, not conclusions that seem prepackaged to quell public fears. The FBI moved with an unsettling swiftness to dismiss any links to terror or conspiracies, yet failed to provide any plausible explanation for why a retired accountant would carry out such a calculated and brutal attack. Motive 'undetermined' Stephen Paddock was not the profile of a typical mass shooter. He wasn't an embittered loner nursing a grudge or a young oddball seeking attention. He had no manifesto. He was, at least according to those who knew him, financially comfortable and mostly uninvolved with anything that might explain such a rampage. And yet, within days of the attack, the media and law enforcement assured the American public there was nothing more to see, no bigger plot, just an inexplicable act by an inexplicable man. He had a gambling problem, they suggested, and that’s why he decided to let loose before turning the gun on himself. One needn't be a tinfoil-hat-wearing lifetime subscriber to QAnon to have some very serious questions here. If the timeline of events wasn’t sorted out, if even the total number of victims was still unclear, how could anyone declare with any confidence that Paddock acted alone and without outside influence? Why has the motive remained "undetermined" after years of investigation, with no real attempt to connect the dots? Uncanny marksmanship Police recordings confirmed that there were multiple shooters on different floors of the hotel that day. Witnesses reported seeing muzzle flashes from overhead, possibly from helicopters or drones, but none from Paddock's room. The hotel room showed barely any shell casings; it should have been completely littered. Some witnesses even saw shooters inside the venue itself. Paddock was and still is an implausible perpetrator for this massacre. The .223 caliber rounds fired from his vantage point were at the extreme range of their accuracy, yet somehow hundreds of rounds found their mark in a compact space. Even more suspiciously, the shooter supposedly used a bump stock — an accessory that makes a rifle function like an automatic weapon but severely reduces its accuracy. Growing up on a farm and hunting with my father on a regular basis, I got to know a fair bit about guns. I'm not claiming to be an expert, but I know enough to say this: In the kind of windy conditions you'd get at that height, with buildings all around in an urban setting, the bullets should have been all over the place. Wind drift alone could have thrown them 50 feet off target, yet somehow there were no victims beyond the concert grounds — none in the surrounding hotels or streets. It’s hard to believe that Paddock, with no training or even documented trips to a shooting range, could pull off that level of precision. Also, consider the psychological profile. Mass shooters typically target people they harbor hatred toward. Paddock’s victims, however, were ordinary Americans — demographically and ethnically similar to himself. It just doesn’t add up. A Saudi connection? Then there's the rather disturbing detail recently brought to light by investigative journalist Ian Carroll. On a recent episode of "The Danny Jones Podcast," the renegade researcher discussed not only the number of ridiculously clean head shots found at the scene but also a surprising Vegas visitor. On the very day of the massacre, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman was staying at the Mandalay Bay. Just months earlier, in May 2017, MBS had launched a sweeping purge against his political and business rivals, declaring that "no one will survive in a corruption case — whoever he is, even if he's a prince or a minister." In light of this, it isn’t unreasonable to question whether there might be a Saudi connection to the massacre. After all, let’s not forget 9/11. But there’s more. Consider the fact that at least eight key witnesses have died under suspicious circumstances since 2017. Each of these individuals held information that contradicted the official account. Four of them spoke to the media, insisting that there was more than one shooter, while others died mysteriously before they could go public. With these disturbing loose ends and unanswered questions, why has one of the nation’s deadliest massacres been so easily swept under the rug? Why was this catastrophe treated like an inconvenient news cycle instead of an atrocity demanding a thorough and transparent investigation? The truth still escapes us, and the silence from officials only makes the mystery — and the doubt — deepen. We must never forget what happened on October 1, 2017, even if those in power would rather we did.

Fortnite says “goodbye” to themed updates for its racing mode after under a year

It looks like Rocket Racing, the Rocket League spinoff available inside of Fortnite, is putting an end to adding official tracks to the game. Epic Games shared the news alongside update v31.40, saying “goodbye to Inferno Island and themed updates” while putting an emphasis on “tracks from creators.” The game mode will still get new quests, items, and ranked periods, but new seasonal overhauls and official tracks appear to be no more. It’s safe to say this hasn’t gone down well with the community, with many players unhappy with the end of extra races and themes. The Windblown demo is here, and the Dead Cells dev’s new roguelike is a blast

The Windblown demo is finally here, and I can safely say that it’s already more than just a Dead Cells follow-up. The newest roguelike from Motion Twin, its Steam Early Access launch is right around the corner. MT is trading the 2D Metroidvania stylings of Dead Cells for isometric co-op action, and it’s already a total blast. You don’t get much in the demo, but the bones of this experience already feel incredibly healthy.
