Giant 'Vote for Trump' sign sparks unifying frenzy in Upstate New York, Democratic owner tells Glenn Beck

The man responsible for the 100-foot "Vote for Trump" sign that now towers over a city in Upstate New York appeared on "The Glenn Beck Program" on Wednesday to explain to host Glenn Beck why the sign is a victory for all Americans, no matter which political party they support. On Tuesday evening, Anthony Constantino, CEO of Sticker Mule, celebrated with a gaggle of fans and supporters of free speech after a judge lifted the restraining order on the "Vote for Trump" sign perched atop his building in Amsterdam, a city of some 18,000 residents about 35 miles northwest of Albany.'Nobody wants to have duct tape put on their mouth. Nobody wants the right to speech taken away.'Lawyers working with city officials, including Democratic Mayor Michael Cinquanti, had filed an ultimately unsuccessful lawsuit to stop Constantino's sign, arguing that it posed a "danger" to drivers and those who would stop and take a selfie with it, as Blaze News previously reported. The attorneys now have until October 18 to refile. In the meantime, Constantino told Beck that the community response to the sign, lit up for the first time on Tuesday, has been overwhelmingly positive."I think everybody's in love with the sign," he said. While Constantino, a registered Democrat, is a Trump supporter, he indicated to Beck that the sign represents "free speech" and "free expression" as much as anything else."I'm trying to end this epidemic of anti-Trump hate that's been bad, really, for both sides," he explained. "People got to be able to be comfortable to say they like President Trump, who did tremendous things for the country, tremendous things, really, for the world in his first term.""Nobody wants to have duct tape put on their mouth. Nobody wants the right to speech taken away."Constantino called out tech titans like Jack Dorsey, former owner of Twitter, and Mark Zuckerberg, current owner of Facebook, who once restricted free speech on their respective social media platforms. He also named names of Democrats who, he believes, crossed the line and called for restricting speech in defiance of the First Amendment. Constantino described these efforts as "really wrong.""I'm seeing really horrible things John Kerry said lately about free speech," he said, "Hillary Clinton saying horrible things about not wanting free speech anymore, Tim Walz saying horrible things about it as well."Beck agreed, claiming that the Biden-Harris administration could not be "more clear" about its intention to "ban speech." "Our government was helping Brazil try to get rid of X and Elon Musk," Beck said. "When [Musk] said the other day, 'They won't stop with me, and they're not going to stop until they get me,' I believe that 100%."Constantino believes that the only way for this anti-American censorship to stop is for Democrats to suffer "a massive loss" at the ballot box, and he encouraged people from all 50 states to cast a vote for Donald Trump this year."It doesn't matter if you're in a red state or a blue state, you got to go vote Trump," he said. "Who knows? Maybe even New York goes for Trump this year."To help boost Trump's chances, Constantino and his pro-Trump political action committee are offering free stickers promoting Trump's candidacy. Those free stickers can be accessed here. The entire segment between Beck and Constantino can be seen below. Like Blaze News? Democratic candidate for US Senate cheated on property taxes for more than a decade

The U.S. Senate campaign of a Democrat is getting derailed by possible mortgage fraud related to two real estate properties. Angela Alsobrooks, a Maryland county executive, bought a home in Washington, D.C., that belonged to her grandmother and benefitted from tax breaks attached to the home from 2003 until she sold the home in 2018. Unfortunately for Alsobrooks, she was not qualified for those tax breaks. 'Angela Alsobrooks is lobbying for favors as she campaigns on raising Social Security taxes.'The Democrat is running to fill Maryland's open seat in the U.S. Senate that was vacated by Sen. Ben Cardin, who is retiring after three terms. Republicans could pick up the seat and possibly regain control of the Senate if Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan beats Alsobrooks in November. Alsobrooks similarly improperly benefitted for homestead tax breaks for a property she owned in Maryland and rented out. A senior advisor for the Democrat told CNN that she had been unaware of the tax breaks and was working to settle the tax debts incurred by the revelations. Hogan bashed the Democrat over the tax improprieties. Angela Alsobrooks has once again shown us that she believes there’s one set of rules for her and another for everyone else. Instead of taking responsibility and paying her tax debt in full, she sought special treatment. While everyday Maryland families are struggling to make ends meet amid soaring inflation, Angela Alsobrooks is lobbying for favors as she campaigns on raising Social Security taxes. Governor Hogan has always stood up for taxpayers and fiscal responsibility. In the Senate, he will continue to work to make life more affordable for Maryland families.WJLA-TV reported that the tax bill added up to $47,580.56. Polls have the Democrat currently ahead of Hogan, who has tried to reach out to centrist Democratic voters for support. Like Blaze News? Nintendo is taking applications to join a mysterious Switch Online playtest

Image: The Verge Nintendo is inviting people to apply to play test a new feature for Nintendo Switch Online — though the company isn’t specifying what the feature is. Considering that this company just launched a gesture-controlled alarm clock, this could mean just about anything up to and including a preview of features for the much-anticipated Switch 2. Guesses from Verge staffers ran the gamut of bringing GameCube games to Switch Online to a preview for a Wii mini retro console or perhaps another long-lost Star Fox game. Feel free to leave your best guesses in the comments. Applications will be open from Thursday, October 10th, at 11AM ET to Tuesday, October 15th, at 10:59AM ET. You can apply by clicking the “To Application Page” link on this page.... Continue reading…

iPhone 16 Pro Max vs. Galaxy S24 Ultra speed test: Exactly what you expected

iPhone 16 Pro Max vs. Galaxy S24 Ultra speed test: Exactly what you expected

When Apple unveiled the iPhone 16 series in early September, the company introduced the A18 Pro chip as "the fastest CPU in any smartphone." The A18 chip that powers the non-Pro iPhone 16 models has to be almost as fast.  But I knew going into the Glowtime event that I would not buy an iPhone 16 Pro this year. Instead, I chose the iPhone 16 Plus, with the A18 Pro's chip being the least of my worries. I wanted a larger screen, better battery life, Apple Intelligence, and the Camera Control button.  I took the iPhone 16 performance for granted, trusting the A18 would be a great upgrade from the iPhone 14 Pro's A16 Bionic. It would be an upgrade that I wouldn't notice when it comes to speed. Instead, I counted on it to deliver fast AI and improved energy efficiency.  A few weeks later, I don't have Apple Intelligence because it's not out yet, and Europe will have to wait even longer. However, the iPhone 16 Plus battery is as good as I had hoped.  Also, we finally have a speed test involving the iPhone 16 Pro Max and Galaxy S24 Ultra to determine which phone is the fastest. The results are incredibly predictable for the current state of the mobile industry. Continue reading...
