A reader in Vermont contacted me about photos of an unknown winged creature seen in Brunswick Springs. Is it a bird, an insect, what?I received the following account:'Hi, Lon. I have long been a fan of your "Phantoms and Monsters" blog, and am even lucky enough to be your follower on Facebook. I have some interesting photos I'd love to share with you.I live in northern Vermont and a half-hour north of me is a place called Brunswick Springs. A quick Google search can show you what's so special about the place. I try to make it up there a couple times a year, to pay homage to the spirits of the place and to drink the water.A couple of weeks ago, I visited. I would have visited on the Autumn Equinox itself, but couldn't make it up there, so I went the day after. While there, I took some pictures, which I've included. I'm a big bird watcher, and in fact, when my husband and I went there for the eclipse this past year, we were lucky enough to witness a bald eagle circling the pond next to the springs. A BIG sky watcher, I'm always looking out for birds and more. I say this to let you know that there was nothing in the sky at the time I took this picture. I would have seen it and even tried to take photos of it by zooming in.In the picture attached, you'll see something in the sky. I cannot for the life of me figure out what it is. If it IS a bird or an insect, I guess this is a once-in-a-lifetime shot of catching them with their wings open. I've attached the original image, and three closeups as I've zoomed in on the aerial phenomenon. I've also included a picture that's noted as "last" to show you the picture I took to the left of the original, trying to get a different angle of the pond. Whatever is in the sky is not there and that photo was only taken a second after the original. The scale of the object/creature is also quite large about the pond, and where it must have been in the sky.I've also included a picture of the four-leaf clover I found on the pond's edge, though I am a voracious four-leaf clover hunter. I have found over 700 this year, and that's a small year for me. I only include that to indicate just that little bit of extra magic that happened there, and speaking of magic, I am very much a person who believes in "mundane over magic," and not one to speculate over orbs in photos that are very clearly refractions of light.Note, that I am a professional psychic medium, and this has me stumped. My work includes working with the Beloved Dead and angelic beings, yet this one has left me scratching my head. I've even used an AI app to enhance the photo and as I did, there seems to even be a face near the top of its head.I pass these photos onto you, as I come to your blog daily and I trust in the veracity and integrity of your work. I am hoping that you wouldn't mind taking a look at the photos, and if you could, perhaps point me in the direction of someone who could even enhance the original image to get a clearer idea of what's in the sky there, because I'm not convinced it's a bird or insect.I just don't know what it is. Neville, a 47-year-old man from Australia, wrote in to tell of something bizarre he observed in a doctor's office. Your thoughts?“I'm from Perth, Western Australia and experienced something in or around July 2011 that may very well be similar to Raechel (speaking about Helen Littrell's book Raechels Eyes: The Strange But True Case of a Human-Alien Hybrid). I had been having a few medical issues and was waiting at my local Pathology Clinic for a Glucose Tolerance Test which takes around 2 hours for 3 separate samples.I had arrived around 8.30 am and was 4th in line, so I began reading a magazine. My turn came and I gave my first blood sample then glucose concentrate to drink. The lady was surprised to see me skull the drink as most people find it rather unpleasant. Then I was told to wait in reception for an hour before they could take my next sample. During this time I observed a young lady walk up to the front door, look inside then walk away. She did this 3 times during that half hour I was there waiting for the next sample. On the forth she came in, didn't take a ticket but sat down anyway. This young lady was around 6 feet tall, very pale skin to the point it was almost white, was extremely thin but I wouldn't say anorexic and wore those same sunglasses like movie stars wear when trying to not be noticed. Something about her seemed rather different but I couldn't quite pick out what. Although her arms did seem longer than usual. At least the average hands worth of extra length. I had the distinct impression she may not be entirely human so just on the off chance, I thought to myself 'You're not from here are you?' while not being to obvious observing her.At that moment she whipped her head around and looked directly at me then stood up and hurried out the door in a particularly awkward fashion. Much like a puppet on stage with its arms outstretched slightly in front. Quite a spectacle to observe and others outside looked and stared as well. At that point in time when she looked directly at me, the sun reflected from behind her off her sunglasses then directly toward her eyes, illuminating them. Those eyes were LARGE, I could not make out the color of the iris if there was one but those eye lids were around 45 millimetres wide and about the same in height. I saw no reflection off the eyes themselves.When it came time for me to provide another sample I mentioned the situation to the woman conducting tests (I had known her for around 5 years at that point ) and was told 'I know who you are talking about and she need specialized blood treatment, but keep it to yourself.' My father used to work for the same company doing biological transport as a courier. She knows my father. I've just had cause to go for another blood sample 7th January 2016 and will be having another GTT test this week. Truck driver RB details his bizarre encounter with an armed Reptilian outside of Yuma, Arizona in 2002. He offers photos and sketches as well.“I'm RB. I'm up in Lancaster, California. I'm a Vietnam veteran. I was in NATO for six years in Germany. After the military I went to truck driving school and became a truck driver for 20 years. This incident happened the last year I was driving a truck. It happened on May 7, 2002 at approximately 4:30 in the morning on Interstate 8 exit 140 in Arizona. I just picked up a load of produce in Yuma, Arizona. I left Yuma, Arizona and I had to take a whizz. So I pulled off the road and stopped at exit 140 on Interstate 8. I pulled off the exit ramp there and I had my high beams on and I noticed a figure to the left side of the exit ramp, a tall dark figure on the left side of the exit ramp, so I went to the right side of the exit ramp, slowed down, stopped and turned off my headlights. I could see a large humanoid figure standing there holding a carcass of some sort in its hand. It dropped the carcass on the ground, turned around and looked at me for 4 or 5 seconds and then started walking over towards my truck. I said, Holy F***! I locked the door on my truck. Made sure it was locked and it was approaching the window of my truck. It stopped about 2 feet from the window of my truck. Its head was as high as the window of my truck. I'm driving a conventional so the window is about 7 feet off the ground. The head of this being was slightly above the head of the window. So it had to be at least 7 feet tall, 7 foot 2. That vicinity.So I reached up and grabbed my camera out of the storage department and turned the camera towards the window and it was looking at me through the window. Just as I was moving the camera over, it turned on a bright light right at my face. It was so bright I couldn't look at it, so I took my camera and flashed a picture at it. The being, creature, stepped back as if slightly startled for a second. Then it kinda gave me an oddball grinning expression, looked at me a couple more seconds, turned its head and when it turned its head, I got a real good look at its profile, of its skull and head and it had started walking away along the left front of my truck.As it was walking away, I turned on my headlights and I got a real good look at its backside and its legs and then I saw what it was walking towards. At that time, the sun was starting to peek out over the top of the mountains. There was enough light that I could see a large black object sitting in an empty parking lot next to the exit ramp. It walked up to the large black object. It just disappeared inside. I didn't see how it got inside. Then I turned on my spotlight, I could see some of the texture of the outside of this - it looked like the side wall of a tomb is what it looked like. Then it started to rise up off the ground. Made no sound. It got up about 10 to 15 feet above the ground. The vehicle vetted out some red stuff. I could see red stuff shooting out from the back and sides. Then I could see it was a triangle shape. I could see underneath it and it had three tiny marker lights on each corner of the triangle, dull red light in the middle. It accelerated away and was out of sight in about 3 seconds. When it had rose up, it was silhouetted against the morning sun. It was making the sky bright enough to see it was a triangle shaped vehicle. I had never seen anything like it.So what happened is, I waited about 5 minutes when I knew the being and the vehicle was gone. I unlocked the door. I had my camera with me. I had 5 pictures left on the camera. Got out of the truck and walked across the street of the exit ramp to see what this being had dropped on the side of the exit ramp and when I got over there I shined the flashlight on it. I was surprised that it was a carcass of some kind. Looking at the hooves, I could tell it was a deer. The deer's head was bit clean off and it had discolored fur around its neck. The inside of the deer, the chest cavity, was all completely removed. Its internal organs were all ripped out to the back of the spine. The internal cavity was burned out.” RBNOTE: He goes on to say that for a couple of months afterward, he would travel back and forth from New York to Yuma and would observe similar-looking deer and animal carcasses along that same exit ramp. This time the oddsmakers got it wrong. Democratic Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz was their betting favorite going into Tuesday night’s vice presidential debate, but Republican Sen. JD Vance of Ohio did the better job of talking to the American people on immigration, housing, and the economy. For months now, Big Media have put all their eggs in the “Vance is an extremist” basket. They beat the “childless cat lady” remark he made in 2021 into the ground, which is what they do. Too many in my profession think it’s their job to word-check Republicans, rather than look at the records of both administrations and how they affected American lives. >>>If you didn’t watch the debate live, see it here: Vance repeatedly talked about the effects of Biden-Harris administration policies—on housing prices, at the grocery store, and how an influx of migrants in Springfield, Ohio, has overwhelmed hospitals and public schools. Walz did his utmost to make the debate about Donald Trump‘s personality. Co-moderator Margaret Brennan of CBS News opened with a question about the war in the Middle East. She asked Walz, “If you are the final voice in the situation room, would you support or oppose a preemptive strike by Israel on Iran?” Walz misspoke when he talked about “the expansion of Israel and its proxies.” He meant to say Iran. Then he segued to Trump-bashing. Given the chaos in the Middle East, the world needs “steady leadership,” Walz argued, not “a nearly 80-year-old Donald Trump talking about crowd sizes.” Walz talked about former Trump aides who won’t endorse their erstwhile boss, while he offered that Vice President Kamala Harris offers “steady leadership” and “calmness.” I get it. Trump overpersonalizes his relations with U.S. allies and national security rivals. I cringe as I recall the then-president gushing over the “beautiful letters” he received from North Korean strongman Kim Jong Un. Don’t get me started on the Trump tweets. Vance’s response moved the issue from the reaction to Trump’s antics inside the Beltway to the results: “Donald Trump actually delivered stability in the world, and he did it by establishing effective deterrence. People were afraid of stepping out of line.” The Oct. 7 Hamas terrorist attack on Israel that left 1,200 dead? That happened after Trump left office. Iran attacked Israel under Biden-Harris. “When was the last time that an American president didn’t have a major conflict break out?” the GOP running mate asked. “The only answer is, during the four years that Donald Trump was president.” Vance’s worst moment occurred after CBS News’ Norah O’Donnell noted that all the nation’s governors certified the 2020 election results and sent a slate of electors to Congress on Jan. 6. O’Donnell noted that Vance recently said he would not have certified that election and instead would have asked states to submit alternate electors. Wrong answer. Trump lost. And since then, the price many Republican candidates have had to pay is to play along with his delusional claims about winning 2020 when they of all people know that he lost. (Last month, even Trump admitted he lost that election “by a whisker.” Within the week, Trump took it back.) Walz seized the moment. He recalled the toll on victims of the violence on Jan. 6, 2021, because of Trump’s bogus claim. Walz looked Vance in the eye when he asked, “Did he lose the 2020 election?” “Tim, I’m focused on the future,” Vance responded. “Did Kamala Harris censor Americans from speaking their mind in the wake of the 2020 COVID situation?” “That’s a damning nonanswer,” Walz countered. Agree. Besides, Walz was suggesting the future could include history repeating itself. As to Vance’s move-the-ball response, albeit to an important issue, the answer would be: Yes. Facebook cofounder Mark Zuckerberg admitted in a letter to the House Judiciary Committee that the Biden-Harris campaign and White House pressured the social-media giant to censor “certain COVID content, including humor and satire.” As Vance noted, trampling on Americans’ free speech rights is a danger to democracy. Walz just didn’t get it. He defended government censorship, saying, “You can’t yell ‘fire’ in a crowded theater.” That tells you the Minnesota governor has no problems with Washington pressuring Big Media to stick to its frequently boneheaded narrative.
