All the products were distributed exclusively in New York. The salad recall is due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. All potentially affected items have an expiration date printed on the side of the packaging, which is June 20 or 24. 2024. Affected lot numbers are 40606 and 11006.

The bacterium may cause stomach ailments and other illnesses. After ingestion, severe infections may result in young children, the elderly, or those with frail immune systems. No illness has been reported at this time. The New York State Department of Agriculture and Market Food Inspectors discovered the problem during routine product testing, prompting the voluntary salad recall. Potential symptoms of a listeria infection can include severe headache, stiffness, high fever, abdominal pain, nausea, and diarrhea.
Additional recalls last week include coffee products, ice cream, and a popular brand of dog treats. When an item is under a recall notice, the manufacturer often posts instructions for returning it for a refund or exchange. Solata Foods LLC is urging consumers to return any affected products to the place of purchase. Full refunds will be offered.
