Someone made readers laugh by writing, “There’s a level 5 magnitude slayquake at Gordon Beach today.” Another person eloquently likened his arms to his signature “raw muscles.” Gordon Ramsay Completed An Ironman Race At 46 What many fans of Hell’s Kitchen don’t know is that Gordon Ramsay is a dedicated athlete who completed an Ironman in 2013. The iconic race includes a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride, and a 26.2-mile run, and only the most elite athletes can compete. Gordon Ramsay finished his race in 14 hours 4 minutes and 48 seconds.  While speaking to Impact Magazine, the Michelin Star chef admitted that he began training to release negative energy, and he continues training to find peace.  “I’m a perfectionist and very passionate when it comes to cooking and my work,” he said. “I’ve always been like that. However, some people mistake my passion for anger, but when it comes to family, I’m the softie. I actually once cried when my 13-year-old got upset over her scrambled eggs! Without the training, I would be a wreck. I’ve seen so many chefs crash and burn, training is my release.” This story’s featured image is by Michael Potts F1 via Shutterstock.
