In Duck Dynasty, the Robertson family introduced many of us to the world of duck hunting and long, bushy beards. They also shared their family and undeniably close bonds. Phil Robertson, the family patriarch, patented the Duck Commander duck caller, creating his duck dynasty, but his most significant accomplishment was raising five children. Today, there are 26 members of the Robertson family all because Phil and Kaye fell in love. Sadly, Phil’s son, Jase, shared on his podcast, Unashamed with the Robertsons, that Phil is very ill, People reported. “Phil’s not doing well. I think I spoke on the 1000th podcast. We were trying to figure out the diagnosis, but according to the doctors, they are sure that he has some sort of blood disease causing all kinds of problems,” Jase said. He added, “And he has early stages of Alzheimer’s. So, if you put those things together, he’s just not doing well. I’m so glad that so many people have been able to learn from his faith and his love for his family.
