Popular podcast host Tim Pool just released a new single in collaboration with metalcore singer Phil Labonte called “Coming Home.” The hard-hitting track is already gaining traction on YouTube, with listeners praising the vocals, visuals, and overall vibe. “The place I once called home has ceased to be,” one of the opening lines says. “Now there’s nothing left but broken glass,” the lyrics continue. “Empty words and empty promises.”  “Coming home, it’s not supposed to be like this,” the chorus says. “Shadow figures on the corner like numbers on a list/ Coming home was supposed to be a gift but the man that came before me can’t be found now/ It’s not nothing more/ But something less /This place that I’ve come home to /Is not supposed to be like this.” The video is filled with imagery of a rundown city filled with boarded-up houses interspersed with retro footage of young children with their parents. The overall tone is depressed and dimly lit, like a memory that’s been tarnished.  Am I Racist? Is In Theaters NOW — Get Your Tickets Here! “After seeing the chaos in our streets and mismanagement of our cities leading to crime, homelessness, and poverty I had to wonder what we and what our leaders had been doing to support those who give everything for this country,” Pool said in a statement about the song’s message. “I’ve heard stories and could only imagine what it must be like to finally come home and see the places you once knew and loved overrun and decayed. This country deserves better and so do our veterans and first responders,” he added. Commenters on YouTube are impressed with the overall tone and message of the song.  “Great song and video really tells a story and this will resonate,” one person wrote. “Somehow, this song made me even more emotional than Only Ever Wanted. Instant hit,” another agreed. Previous songs by Pool have skyrocketed to the top of the iTunes charts, including the hit single “Only Ever Wanted.” That was his first effort with ousted Offspring drummer Pete Parada, who also does drums for this new release. Pool is a conservative political commentator and host of multiple popular podcasts, including “Timcast,” “Tim Pool,” and “Timcast IRL.”  He became popular after live-streaming the 2011 Occupy Wall Street protest in New York City.

He asked Prince Harry if he was a scardy cat, to which he replied, “Not normally, but today might be different.” The walk starts with Jimmy accusing Harry of being scared of panda bears, and the Prince vehemently denies it. As the two continue on, they are frighted over and over sharing screams and squeals. While the scary moments in the bit are funny, one of the best moments in the entire clip is when two performers break character and realize they’ve just been in the presence of royalty. Fans loved the clip and shared their thoughts on YouTube. Someone wrote, “Absolutely fanfriggingtastic, love seeing how down to earth prince Harry is.” “Prince Harry and Jimmy are so much fun. Looks like a good time,” another fan agreed. Valerie Simone had a date planned with her boyfriend, Ryan Freeman, at the St. Louis Zoo. When the day arrived, Ryan begged off, claiming to be “sick.” Like a trooper, Simone went without him. It was their favorite place, so she was comfortable enough to enjoy the day. However, Ryan had a different plan, and all of Valerie’s friends were in on it. When Ryan caught up with her, she was watching the sea lion frolic. Ryan worked his way through the crowd while she faced the tank’s glass wall. Finally arriving directly behind her, he reached out and gently tapped her shoulder. She turned as he knelt on one knee, holding a beautiful ring. As the crowd realized what was happening, they parted, leaving plenty of room for the reaction. We can’t hear the proposal because of the crowd noise, but we can see her surprise as she covers her face with her hands. Valerie drops down to her knees and the couple hug. We’re unsure when Valerie realized how many people in the crowd were friends or family. She acknowledged that the moment was witnessed by the most important people in their lives. The person who followed Ryan into the Sea Lion enclosure recorded the surprise proposal. There was bonus footage from many of the “bystanders.” Valerie collected many clips to see the proposal from every angle and compiled them into a showcase video on TikTok.
