It’s been two years since Amy Grant, 63, suffered a traumatic brain injury after a bike-related accident, and she has a new perspective on life. I have had a lot of good, hard cries. And I went through depression,” Amy says. “But everybody is recovering from something. That's life. If nothing else, we recover every day from the shock of what it means to age. My memory used to be my superpower. Now I can't trust my memory. But there are hidden gifts in everything.” When Amy fell off her bike in 2022, she was unconscious for about 10 minutes. She was treated for cuts and abrasions as well as a concussion. They discovered a cyst that had been growing in her throat, which went into hypergrowth when she had the accident. She had to have a 5-hour surgery to get rid of it. She also had to learn to sing again. I think early on I said, ‘What if I'm different, what if I’m not the same?’ and he said, ‘Hey, every day we wake up a little different, and we love each other, and it's good,” Amy shares. Having a supportive spouse when going through something like Amy did is a must. Between Amy Grant’s memory not being what it once was and worrying that she would be different, having such a person by your side is a blessing. After the accident, Amy told AARP that for months, she wasn’t able to leave the house, look at screens, or even be on her phone. Even though it was a difficult time, she found other ways to cope. I have a cup of coffee and stand with my bare feet on the grass. I welcome myself to the day,” Amy says. “Less than a week ago, I was so upset about something, but I went outside in the grass that night . . . and I sat there in silence, but I could see that I was a tiny part of a big picture. And I stayed until I felt peace.” Amy also shares that she is more intentional about her health. She now drinks non-alcoholic beer and joined the YMCA for swimming as she can access them when she visits other places. “I'm not back to riding a bike yet, because I still have some balance issues. But I'm working on it.” she shares. The Arizona Cardinals apologized to a fan due to an incident at State Farm Stadium that led her to tossing her MAGA hat into the garbage. Rosener asked the security member, who works for a third-party company, why she couldn’t wear the hat to the game, she was told it violated the stadium’s policies on prohibited items. “She’s like, ‘no political hats or shirts.’ And I said, I haven’t heard that at all. And I said, that doesn’t make sense to me. And she goes, ‘I said, Take your hat off,'” Rosener recalled. Her husband then posed a question to the security person, “If she takes it off, can we get in?” They were told the hat had to be discarded in a nearby trash can, or else they couldn’t enter State Farm Stadium. Save America!” The man, Dion Cini, now a conservative political influencer on X, posted bodycam footage of his police escorts out of the stadiums multiple times. On June 27 of that year, Cini posted images on X (then known as Twitter) of an alleged letter from MLB informing him that he had been barred from MLB games until further notice. Cini commented on the recent incident involving Rosener in an interview with Fox News Digital on Wednesday. “That’s just the country that we’ve become, and the fact that she did it and put it in a can is the reason why they asked her to do it, because they know that she would probably comply. And that basically sums up the whole state of America right now,” Cini said. “You’d have to kill me for me to take off my MAGA hat without force! I’ve never taken off my MAGA hat for anybody.”

President Trump’s scheduled visit to a popular Brooklyn kosher deli was canceled after the owner passed away of a heart attack, the New York Post reports. “Trump had been expected to stop by Gottlieb’s — a mom-and-pop restaurant known as a staple of Hasidic Williamsburg — before heading to Washington, DC, to speak at a ‘Combatting Antisemitism’ event,” the New York Post reports. The owner, Shalom Yoseph Gottlieb, was 76. Gottlieb reportedly had pneumonia earlier this week and later died after experiencing cardiac problems.
