Metallica will give two performances during the four-day Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival, May 8th through 11th at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, OH. Festival organizers have been trying to land Metallica for five years. BUILDING THE WORLD’S LARGEST ARCADE ONE GAME AT A TIME August 12th, 2024 was a historic day in the world of arcade gaming. The largest arcade in the world, Galloping Ghost Arcade, unveiled its 1,000th arcade game on the floor. This number has been talked about for years. Every Monday (rain or shine, holiday or not), Doc would reveal a new game for the arcade floor. He has been doing this since 2015. It started out as a small growth to the arcade to an every week spectacle. People would come to the arcade and also stream the newest game. The lucky few got to be there live and play the game for the first time. The unveiling of the game hit a little snag as the usual start time of 5:00 PM CST was delayed as the game was still getting its finishing touches so it could be played live on the air. Around 7:00 PM CST, Doc and the staff were ready to stream it live on Twitch. The time finally arrived where the 1000TH game would be revealed. Many had ideas of what it could be, but no one except Doc and his crew knew what it would be.
