The Single Greatest Mossad Operation Of All Time
On Tuesday, Israel’s national intelligence agency, Mossad, pulled off what has to be the single most effective and targeted military operation in world history. It was truly an astonishing operation.
Apparently, at some point, the Mossad must have interdicted roughly 4,000 pagers that were going to be distributed by the Lebanese terror group Hezbollah, the Iranian-backed terror group that has continually been at war with the West and Israel for decades.
That war has ramped up over the course of the last year; since October 7, Hezbollah has spent the last year firing some 8,000 rockets into northern Israel, such heavy rocket fire that not only have dozens of people been killed, but 80,000 to 100,000 people have also been evacuated by Israel from the north of Israel, thanks to Hezbollah’s predations.
Hezbollah is also armed with roughly 200,000 rockets; 50,000 are reportedly specifically targeting-capable, meaning they can actually target towers in Tel Aviv. Hezbollah is a very large, very powerful terror group, and they help control the Lebanese government on behalf of the Iranian government.
They have used indiscriminate rocket fire in order to kill civilians in Israel, including most recently in an Israeli Arab village in the Golan Heights where 12 children were killed.
Mossad has become a sort of byword for an effective intelligence agency pulling off astonishing operations over the course of the last few years. For example, the Israeli Mossad somehow infiltrated the Iranian nuclear facilities’ technological specs such that they were able to insert a virus into the nuclear program of the Iranian regime and essentially feedback-loop bad data to hold up the development of the Iranian nuclear program for years. It was a virus called Stuxnet that they uploaded in some creative way.
Then, just a few months ago, the Mossad killed Ismail Haniyeh, the political head of Hamas who lived in Qatar. He had traveled to Tehran for the inauguration of the new Iranian president. Israel somehow planted a bomb in the bedroom of the guest quarters, where he was staying. They waited until Haniyeh was in there with his bodyguard at 2:00 a.m., and both of them ended up dead.
Israel is very, very good at this.
On Tuesday, they pulled off what has to be the single most targeted, astonishing, and hilarious military intelligence operation of all time.
I understand there are people out there today who are upset if you laugh at what happened to Hezbollah. But you should be laughing at this. The people who were damaged yesterday were targeted in the most specific targeted strike in urban warfare in history.

Not only that, there is nothing immoral about laughing or chortling over terrorists who get what they deserve. As Proverbs 11:10 says: “When the righteous prosper, the city rejoices; when the wicked perish, there are shouts of joy.” Or Psalms 58:10: “The righteous will be glad when they are avenged, when they dip their feet in the blood of the wicked.” Or perhaps Deuteronomy 32:43: “Rejoice, you nations, with his people, for he will avenge the blood of his servants; he will take vengeance on his enemies and make atonement for his land and people.” And if you happen to be a devotee of the New Testament, Revelation 18:10 suggests about the fall of Babylon, “Rejoice over her, you heavens! Rejoice, you people of God! Rejoice, Apostles and prophets! For God has judged her with the judgment she imposed on you.”
Beyond that, there is something politically useful in laughing at terrorists because the reality is that terrorists deeply desire fear and respect.
And nothing undermines fear and respect more than laughter.
People today, the Edward Snowdens of the world — who is effectively a Russian agent and always has been — are suggesting that what Israel did is a danger to the world.
No, it most assuredly is not. It is the most targeted military operation in history. You don’t have to worry your iPhone is going to blow up in your pocket because, number one, you don’t work for Hezbollah, and number two, your iPhone does not have the components necessary to blow up in your pocket. That’s not how this operation was carried out.
You don’t get a beeper in the year 2024 unless you are a Hezbollah terrorist in Lebanon. I understand there might be some retro folks who are still using beepers from 1998. Let’s just say this is not a device in general use.
The reason all the Hezbollah terrorists were carrying around beepers is because back in February, Israel had so thoroughly hacked Hezbollah’s communications networks via technology like iPhones that Hezbollah’s terror chief, Hassan Nasrallah, told his people to stop using modern devices and return to a beeper system.
Terrorists, Hamas, and Hezbollah, these mass rapists and murderers, will go low-tech in order to avoid high-tech surveillance. There is only one problem for them, which is that the Mossad is really, really good at what they do.
According to the Wall Street Journal:
Pagers carried by thousands of Hezbollah operatives exploded at about the same time Tuesday afternoon in what appeared to be an unprecedented attack that authorities said injured almost 2,800 and killed nine across Lebanon.
Many of the affected pagers were from a new shipment that the group received in recent days, people familiar with the matter said. A Hezbollah official said many fighters had such devices, adding that some people felt the pagers heat up and disposed of them before they burst.
Hezbollah said a number of pagers carried by its members exploded simultaneously at 3:30 p.m. local time. It couldn’t immediately be determined what caused the blasts, which were spread out across the country in several areas where Hezbollah has a heavy presence.
Normies don’t carry beepers. The reason these people are carrying pagers is because they were handed them by the Hezbollah higher-ups. At some point in the supply chain, Israel must have interdicted ordering the production process, knowing these particular beepers were going to be handed out to the Hezbollah fighters.
This must have been done months, if not a year in advance, to put a couple of grams of explosive plus some material near the battery such that when the battery was prompted by code to heat up, it would explode.
“Hezbollah and the Lebanese government blamed Israel for the attack. Both said civilians were killed,” the Journal reported.
In any military operation in an urban area, civilians will be killed. If the ratio of terrorists wounded and killed to civilians wounded and killed is on the order of, say, 500 to 1, that would make this the most successful targeted operation in the history of urban warfare — by far. It’s not even close.
If Israel had sent precise snipers into Lebanon to kill Hezbollah terrorists at this scale, many more civilians would have died than in this particular operation, just from the ricochets alone.

It turns out, warfare is really ugly and really bad. If you could carry out a targeted operation where the only people carrying the devices were Hezbollah and blow up the devices, there is no more targeted operation that is possible.
Which is why when people are expressing outrage at the operation, they’re outraged at: Israel defending itself. That’s all.
They’re not outraged at the “human cost” of war. If they were, they would be outraged by the 8,000 rockets being indiscriminately fired into Israel by Hezbollah. They’d be outraged by the fact the Houthis are shooting missiles into the middle of Israel.
You don’t see any of that outrage.
They would even be outraged by what’s going on in the Congo. They’re not. The reason they’re upset is because Israel is good at what Israel does. And actually, Israel’s discriminateness makes them more upset because the more discriminate Israel is, the more it demonstrates that Israel actually does care about human life much more than its enemies do. It boggles so many minds about the war in Gaza.
Israel has pursued the single most humane war in the history of warfare in Gaza. Now, humane war is inevitably an oxymoron because war is never humane. But if you are going to pursue a war telling people in advance that you are about to come into an area, helping to evacuate those areas, providing food to the people who leave those areas, using precise targeted munitions on specific terrorists such that the terrorist to civilian death ratio is 1.6 to 1, all of which Israel has done, that is the most humane war possible to fight now.
Again, there’s no such thing as a fully humane war because the most humane war is the one that doesn’t get fought. But it turns out that when a terrorist group overruns a boundary and kills 1,200 people, takes 250 hostages, murders hostages in tunnels, and continues to fire rockets and flood the zone with military munitions, it tends to provoke a war.
The actual answer to stopping this war would be to let Israel finish the war. The best way to achieve peace in the Middle East is through victory.
This happens to be true in every military conflict. The best way to achieve peace is victory. This has always been true. Always. The notion that stopping short and signing a peace agreement is the way to provide a long-term victory hardly ever happens.
Respect in the Middle East is through operations like the one that Israel just carried out.
