Rock County, Wisconsin Driver Encounters MASSIVE BIGFOOT on Rural Road

A Rock County, Wisconsin man is driving home at 4 am when he is suddenly face-to-face with a Bigfoot standing in the roadway in front of him. He'll never forget the encounter!I received the following account:"Hello. Thanks for reading my story. I live near the town of Union, Wisconsin in Rock County. One early morning last December 2023 I was driving home from work at 4 am. The roads were deserted and the only sound I could hear was the hum of my car engine. It was a long and tiring day, and all I wanted was to get home and crawl into bed.As I turned a corner onto N. Union Rd coming off Rt. 59, my tired eyes widened in disbelief. There, standing in the middle of the road, was a massive, hairy bipedal creature that I estimate was 8+ feet tall. As my headlights illuminated its face, I realized it was no ordinary animal. Its eyes glowed in the darkness, reflecting the light from my car. Its long arms hung by its sides, and its massive chest heaved with each breath, and I knew instantly that this was no ordinary creature. As I drew closer, I could see its face more clearly. It had a human-like quality to it, with a wide, flat nose and a heavy brow. Its mouth opened slightly, revealing rows of teeth with pointy canines. The hair was dark, almost black. My heart pounded in my chest as I realized I was face-to-face with a Bigfoot. I never believed I would actually encounter one.I slammed on the brakes, my car skidding to a halt just a few feet away from the creature. For a moment, I felt a surge of fear, unlike anything I had ever experienced. Without warning, the creature turned and ran into the woods to my right, disappearing into the darkness. I sat there in shock, trying to process what I had just seen. Was I hallucinating from exhaustion? I'm sure that it was real! But as I looked around, I saw the marks of its massive wet footprints on the road surface, confirming that I had indeed encountered the beast. The wet prints were about 17 inches long and 8 inches at the widest point. There were 4 toes on both feet.To this day, I can still feel the chill of that encounter, knowing that I came face to face with a creature that has long been the subject of myth and legend. It was a night I will never forget, and one that has left me with more questions than answers." Top 10 MTV Unplugged Albums

The concept of MTV Unplugged emerged as a groundbreaking series in the world of music television, offering a unique stage for artists to reimagine their songs in stripped-down, acoustic performances. Launched in 1989, this series became a defining platform for showcasing musicians’ raw talent, often revealing new depths to their artistry. At its heart, Unplugged presented a simple but transformative idea: to remove the studio polish and electrified embellishments of modern music, leaving only the core of the song and the power of the performance. This approach resonated deeply with audiences, creating some of the most iconic moments in music The post Top 10 MTV Unplugged Albums appeared first on ClassicRockHistory.com.

A Tale of Two Michigan Colleges and DEI

As a sophomore at the University of Michigan, I have seen the effects that left-wing academic policies can have on the overall health of an educational institution firsthand. Those influences take many forms, from “mandatory” gender and sexuality modules to required classes for many majors on racial and ethnic intolerance and “inequality.” One thing that doesn’t change, however, is the institutional commitment to liberal polemics on display everywhere. The programs created by that commitment are pervasive and require a tremendous amount of manpower to ensure their continued implementation. In a 2021 study, The Heritage Foundation found that the University of Michigan had the biggest diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) apparatus by far of any public university, with 163 employees devoted to advancing those aims, compared with an average of 45. A recent analysis done by former University of Michigan professor Mark Perry suggests that the number is even higher currently, with 241 DEI employees on just one of the school’s three campuses. With so much focus on “inclusion,” an outside observer might be led to think that the campus as an institution would be a warm and welcoming environment. The opposite, however, has been my experience. What I’ve seen instead is the fostering of hostility between different identity groups. It’s not just my personal experience, however. My Heritage Foundation colleague Giancarlo Canaparo noted that as well in a March 2023 essay he wrote for The Daily Signal. The position of the university regarding DEI has come under increasing scrutiny recently. In October, university leaders reaffirmed their position, stating that their “commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is inseparable from the pursuit of academic excellence.” Pushback, however, has been mounting, with members of the Board of Regents—and even some liberal faculty members—calling on University of Michigan President Santa Ono to “defund or restructure” the DEI program there. The Daily Caller News Foundation reported Nov. 28 that the Board of Regents is “expected to vote on the matter on Dec. 5.” For now, however, the situation remains far from being resolved. The efficacy of such reforms depends in large part upon an institutional commitment to change—something only a reverse “long march through the institution” would be able to accomplish. At a university where fewer than 1 in 8 students, including me, consider themselves conservative, it’s a constant battle to maintain fidelity to principles and a sense of identity in an overall hostile environment. This experience of constant struggle led me to reconsider my approach to higher education. I had previously thought positively about going to college in order to change the environment around me. However, after having received a true taste of the sheer volume of left-wing ideology extant at the University of Michigan, I realized that to do this would compromise my ability to effectively engage in academics there. As I considered the notion of the University of Michigan potentially being my alma mater—an allegorical Latin term meaning “nurturing mother”—I realized that in every possible instance, thanks to its embrace of DEI policies, the University of Michigan was the opposite of “nurturing.” Reflecting upon that, I resolved that I should shift my study to another place of learning that wasn’t as toxic. It wasn’t that I didn’t want to engage in the fight to reclaim our beloved institutions, such as the once-great University of Michigan. Rather, it’s precisely the desire to fight effectively that led me to realize that I wasn’t able to both learn and fight at the same time. Learning precedes fighting, as my ex-military grandfather reminded me, and that prompted me to seek another institution that was truly oriented toward education, not merely indoctrination. My search culminated in another school well known in Michigan: Hillsdale College. The more I learned about Hillsdale, the more I grew to love it. Here was an environment where true education takes place. Here was where truth is sought, where virtue is prized, and where students graduate equipped to go out into the world, to fight for the good, and to make a real difference. On my preliminary tour, what stuck with me most was the people—or more specifically, the atmosphere—that I encountered on campus. There was a commonality that I perceived there—a consensus of purpose, a constructive atmosphere for fielding disputes, and a genuine human respect that students had for one another. But even more basic than that was the joy. There was a discernible note of laughter and study, of just sheer gladness in the truth, that made me genuinely sad to step off campus and return home. What I took away from this contrast, and what ultimately informed my choice of Hillsdale over continuing at the University of Michigan, was that, as the psalmist says: There is a time for war and a time for peace. Learning occurs best in a place of tranquillity and serious—albeit joyful—study, as the term alma mater implies. My life outside of the university will be a series of battles for the truth, which I look forward to engaging in and winning. The best way to prepare for that, in my estimation, though, is in an environment like Hillsdale College’s, where education is truly prized. That’s what I look forward to participating in, as I prepare to begin my studies there next semester. The post A Tale of Two Michigan Colleges and DEI appeared first on The Daily Signal.

Esquire publishes screed against Republicans with such an unbelievable error it had to be completely deleted

While Americans on both sides of the political aisle debate whether President Joe Biden should have pardoned his son, one entry into the discourse made an astoundingly embarrassing error. The Esquire magazine article by Charles P. Pierce lambasted Republicans for criticizing Biden based on the historical precedent of Republican former President George H.W. Bush pardoning his own son Neil Bush. The problem is that this incident never happened. It's completely fabricated. 'Not one of them thought to check if the concept on which the article was based was true or not?' "Nobody defines Poppy Bush's presidency by his son's struggles or the pardons he issued on his way out of the White House. The moral: Shut the f*** up about Hunter Biden, please," read the subheading on the article published on Tuesday. Eventually, the humiliating error was discovered, and Esquire issued a correction:Editor's note: This story has been updated. An earlier version stated incorrectly that George H.W. Bush gave a presidential pardon to his son, Neil Bush. Esquire regrets the error. Finally, the outlet deleted the story altogether. Esquire was mercilessly ridiculed for the mistake. "Esquire Magazine is literally making stuff up to try to defend Joe Biden's pardon of Hunter Biden. The people who scream about misinformation are doing it to cover for Joe," said radio talk show host Erick Erickson. "Even given the lengths to which some journalists will go to advance the approved narrative, this is unreal," responded Boston Globe op-ed editor Jeff Jacoby. "How many people does an article have to pass through at @esquire, from idea to completion, before being published? 4? 5? Not one of them thought to check if the concept on which the article was based was true or not?" asked columnist Derek Hunter. "How in God’s name did you get the George H W Bush/ Neil Bush so completely wrong? Doesn’t Esquire have fact checkers anymore?" read another tweet. Even some Democrats admitted that the expansive scope of Biden's pardon was suspicious and undermined their arguments to paint President-elect Donald Trump as destructive of the rule of law. Esquire wasn't the only outlet to make an embarrassing error while trying to criticize Republicans on the pardon issue. Newsweek had to retract one quote from a source in an article after it was discovered that the source was actually a parody account on social media. Like Blaze News? ‘It’s about women. Period.’ NFL legend’s daughter gets HEATED over men in women’s sports

Kimberly Brown, daughter of NFL legend Jim Brown, grew up in West Hollywood — but you wouldn’t be able to tell based on her political opinions. Brown, who played basketball, soccer, volleyball, and ran track, is of the belief that men do not belong in women’s sports. “This wasn’t a thing back then. People didn’t have to worry about this B.S.,” Brown tells Alex Stein of “Prime Time with Alex Stein,” adding, “Don’t come into our sport, don’t even come near us, just stay in your own lane.” “I actually get mad at people like you for trying to outlaw transgenders in women’s sports, because we can gamble on them, Kimberly, and you can win money. You know, during the Olympics, I won a bunch of money,” Stein jokes. “People like you, really ... just, you know, not say anything and blow the cover, because me as a degenerate gambler, I need these lady boys to compete against the women,” he adds. “You need a man to whoop your a** then,” Brown fires back. “It’s about women, it’s about safety. It’s about our safety, it’s about our opportunities, it’s about our funding, it’s about women, period. It has nothing to do with you men.” “That’s why we are equal but separate, you know. There’s two different sexes. So stay in your lane, and we’ll stay in ours,” she adds. Not only is Brown a staunch supporter of keeping women’s sports a safe space for women, but she’s a fan of President-elect Donald Trump. “I want to support him just as my father supported him throughout his presidency and be able to assist any way,” Brown tells Stein, adding, “So I do see myself working with Trump closely.” Want more from Alex Stein? To enjoy more of Alex's culture jamming, comedic monologues, skits, and street segments, subscribe to BlazeTV — the largest multi-platform network of voices who love America, defend the Constitution, and live the American dream.
