Photos Emerge Of Moment Police Captured Would Be Trump Assassin

Photos emerged on Sunday of the moment law enforcement officials in Florida took a man into custody after he was allegedly preparing to assassinate former President Donald Trump. Authorities arrested 58-year-old Ryan Routh — a Democrat donor with a criminal history — after Secret Service noticed his AK-47-style rifle as he hid in shrubbery only a few hundred yards away from Trump at Trump International Golf Course West Palm Beach. When he was engaged by federal law enforcement officials, he ran and got into a car and drove off. Fortunately, a witness captured a photo of the car and the license plate, allowing police to quickly locate and arrest him. The Martin County Sheriff’s Office released photographs showing where they caught Routh traveling northbound on I-95 in a black Nissan SUV. Am I Racist? Trump was shot in the head in July during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania, and Secret Service was criticized for failing to provide adequate protection. Another photo surfaced appearing to show Routh in a police car after being taken into custody. The man in the photo appears to be the same individual identified earlier in the day as the suspect that law enforcement sought to locate. National Park Delivers Hilarious Response To Bad Reviews: “A World Of Regret Awaits You”

The social media person in charge of the Mammoth Cave National Park Facebook page is a genius. A post from August 23, 2024, begins, “Come experience what has disappointed millions of people for over 225 years!” The words weave an advertisement for the National Park that includes nothing but bad reviews. The result is madcap hilarity. The post continues, stating, “Mammoth Cave National Park recently rated as one of the “most disappointing U.S. tourist attractions”!” This may be where advertisers would add the cliche line, “Results may vary.” Of course, park employees think it is a great place to visit. Some visitors said the cave is “very dark” and the park has “nothing cool.” The Facebook post promises that we can expect to “experience the disappointment of Mammoth Cave.” Prospective guests should select activities “that will leave you unfulfilled!” The post uses descriptive phrases such as disappointment in a “dry hole with very few stalagmites and stalactites.” Some guests were unable to see the forest because of the trees. The “advertisement” also contains a dire warning. “Fair warning – there are bugs in the outdoors, cellular phone service is spotty, and there are stairs on some of our cave tours.” Image from Wikimedia Commons. Before the final plea to visit the website and make reservations, we see the happy announcement “A world of regret awaits you at Mammoth Cave!” The remark will spark additional interest in visiting Mammoth Cave National Park so people can verify the bad reviews. You can read the original and very hilarious Facebook post here. These Bad Reviews Make Me Want To Visit Mammoth Cave State Park Mammoth Cave Nation Park is in the heart of Kentucky. The Cave Research Foundation (CRF) has mapped 426 miles of the cave since the late 1950s. Mammoth Cave is the longest cave in the world. With stats like that, it is confusing how visitors could go and not enjoy the trip. Bad reviews for the National Park seem to be from people with no sense of adventure. Image from Wikimedia Commons. Mammoth Cave offers various tours, special events, and educational opportunities. The acoustics inside the cave make it a great place for singing. Even if you don’t like being underground in a cold, dark cave, there is plenty to do above ground. The National Park offers canoeing, kayaking, horseback riding, camping, hiking trails, and much more. It isn’t all bad reviews for Mammoth Cave National Park. The site gets plenty of positive reviews from a satisfied visitor, such as this one. Please don’t take our word for it. Visit Mammoth Cave to bonk your head on a stalactite and see the stalagmites that refuse to rise for the occasion. Maybe pack a pocket flashlight because someone reported it was dark down there. Please share if you might visit Mammoth Cave National Park despite the bad reviews. You can find the source of this story’s featured image here. Top 10 Small Faces Songs

The Small Faces were among the most influential of the 1960’s British Invasion groups. The Beatles and Rolling Stones often overshadow their contributions. Their influence extended for decades after the band broke up. They formed in 1965 as a Mod band, known for their dedication to fashion and the mopeds famous with the subculture. The lineup consisted of Steve Marriott on lead vocals and lead guitar, Ronnie Lane on the bass, Jimmy Winston on keyboard, and Kenney Jones on drums. Ian McLagan soon replaced Winston on keyboards; otherwise, their lineup was stable until 1969. Patagonia Helping to Revolutionize California’s Farms with $1 Million Grant

Organic and regenerative farming practices are taking root in the polluted yet beautiful Ventura County in California, where a truly staggering amount of the country’s produce is grown. Industrial agriculture has polluted soil and groundwater with pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides, while simultaneously driving away or poisoning wildlife. The Rodale Institute and their California Organic Center […] The post Patagonia Helping to Revolutionize California’s Farms with $1 Million Grant appeared first on Good News Network.

Little Girl Donates Her Lemonade Stand Money To Animal Shelter, Sparkling Ripple Effect

The Kent County Animal Shelter (KCAS) shares that a little girl, named Abby, donates all her lemonade stand money to the animal shelter. On August 29, Kent County Animal Shelter shared Abby’s note with the caption, “This wonderful little girl sold lemonade to raise money for the shelter.” In the note written by Abby herself, she said, “I had a lemonade stand and earned $80 plus some change and my parents matched it so over $160 dollars are going to the animals.” She continued, “Maybe you can buy a toy or something for them.” Later that day, the animal shelter shared that with Abby’s donation, they were able to buy toys and treats for the dogs and cats at the shelter. “We are always honored when anyone chooses to donate to KCAS,” the animal shelter wrote. “It is even more remarkable when a child does something so selfless and gives their hard-earned money to others in need.” KCAS also thanks Abby’s parents in the follow-up post saying, “We also want to thank her parents for instilling the importance of giving back to your community and offering to match their child’s donation.” The “special donation” went viral and started a ripple effect in the community that had others making donations to the animal shelter to match Abby’s donation or donate in the little girl’s honor. “This single gift has also started a tremendous ripple effect,” KCAS wrote. The animal shelter further reveals that after the day of Abby’s donation, they have received over $700 in donations. And even after almost two weeks of Abby’s donation, KCAS continues to receive donations from the community. On September 10, the animal shelter reveals, “We received quite a large Amazon shipment today with notes stating it was a forward of kindness inspired by Abby raising money for KCAS at a lemonade stand, which her parents had matched.” They also shared that since the original post of Abby’s donation was shared, the animal shelter has received over $3000 donations. KCAS wrote, “We can’t believe how inspired, generous and supportive people have been since hearing this story.” A user wrote, “She is emulating “be the change you’d like to see in the world “. Beautiful.” While another wrote, “This is so incredible to see, I hope Abby one day realizes just how much of an impact her kindness led to.”

There May Be Another Habitable World in the Solar System

Complex chemicals discovered on Enceladus are pushing forward the idea that Saturn’s moon could harbor alien life. Samples collected in Saturn’s ring and just above its moon Enceladus have found signs of a variety of organic molecules that could be among the ingredients needed for life. Enceladus is likely to have more complex organic molecules than previously thought, raising the possibility that chemical reactions exist that produce the building blocks of life. Saturn’s moon Enceladus is one world that could potentially support alien life. Beneath the moon’s icy crust is a vast ocean of liquid water, with jets of ice and steam escaping from it, and there is some evidence of energy sources on the seafloor, similar to hydrothermal vents in Earth’s oceans. Beneath the moon’s icy crust is a vast ocean of liquid water, with jets of ice and steam spurting out, and there is some evidence of energy sources on the seafloor, similar to hydrothermal vents in Earth’s oceans. The Cassini spacecraft studied Saturn and its moons for 13 years before crashing into the ringed gas giant in 2017. The spacecraft was able to collect samples of icy particles in one of Saturn’s outer rings, which scientists believe came from jets ejected by Enceladus. Previously, scientists had already confirmed after analyzing ice particles that Enceladus contains all six chemical elements necessary for life as we know it: carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, phosphorus and sulfur. The Cassini spacecraft also made a closer flyby of Enceladus and collected ice particles from the jets themselves. But they had not been analyzed as thoroughly as scientists from the Free University of Berlin, Germany, did. Researchers have found evidence of a wide range of chemical groups that are common to many biological molecules. These include esters, alkenes, and complex molecules that contain nitrogen and oxygen. While scientists cannot determine exactly what molecules these chemical groups came from, their presence means there is a high probability that chemical reactions that create the building blocks of DNA are present. One reason these chemicals were not found in Saturn’s ring is that the ice particles found in the plume contained less water, so scientists were able to identify complex molecules. This discovery strengthens the idea that Enceladus may have the conditions necessary for life to form and that alien life itself may exist there. DDR5 gaming RAM is about to get much faster, thanks to this new tech

Gaming RAM maker Asgard has just unveiled its fastest DDR5 memory kit yet, with its new kit rocketing along at 9,600MT/s (megatransfers per second, which is like the effective MHz frequency). Moreover, the company has claimed 10,000MT/s kits will soon be available, thanks to new CUDIMM technology. While most of the memory we recommend in our best gaming RAM guide is clocked far slower than this, more and faster memory is of course always welcome, and that's where the PC games hardware industry is going thanks to some clever new tech.
