Exposing Associated Press’ DEI Whitewashing in Congressional Shakedown Report

Exposing Associated Press’ DEI Whitewashing in Congressional Shakedown Report

The Associated Press (AP) fawned over an obvious shakedown attempt by the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) in service of a radical leftist discriminatory ideology.  The AP completely ignored major flaws in a CBC report and ran cover for DEI in a Monday article. AP Race and Politics Report Matt Brown covered a CBC report that promoted diversity equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives and pressured companies that made leftist promises during the destructive Black Lives Matter riots of 2020. The CBC report at the center of the AP article touted that 189 companies, including 139 from the Fortune 500, had answered questions about corporate DEI. The congressional body claimed that “100% of the companies that responded to the CBC’s outreach went above and beyond to share their progress on advancing equity.”  Throughout the report, the CBC repeatedly called for corporate “accountability,” pressuring them to deliver on financial promises made during the 2020 riots—made when radical activists were ascendant and mobs were burning cities. Brown didn’t call out the CBC for trying to wring donations out of corporations to support the “activism” of “advocacy organizations.” Instead, the AP reporter simply put that corporations were innocuously asked to “work with the CBC to fulfill pledges on racial and economic inequality.” He also ignored that the report still proudly displayed a discredited study by management consultancy firm McKinsey & Company. Citing McKinsey, the CBC argued, “Moreover, the business case for DEI has never been more evident; research makes clear that corporate DEI efforts improve profitability and performance.”  In March 2024, UNC-Chapel Hill Professor of Accounting John R. M. Hand and Texas A&M Associate Professor of Accounting Jeremiah Green debunked the McKinsey study “Diversity Wins." While the letter in the report predated Green and Hand’s work, Brown and the CBC published their respective work on Monday.  The AP article also went to bat for DEI in general, defining the ideology in favorable terms. “DEI policies are official guidelines and programs meant to welcome people of various backgrounds into an organization and create a culture where they feel included to do their work,” Brown wrote. “Such policies can be as broad or narrow as an organization decides and can focus on any demographic.” Not even close. What is DEI? DEI includes leftist employee training, dividing employee groups by race and capitulation to radical LGBT organizations such as the Human Rights Campaign (HRC). These measures have been so widely condemned that companies such as Ford, Molson Coors, Tractor Supply, Harley-Davidson, Lowe's, Jack Daniel’s parent company Brown-Furman and others have abandoned them and similar practices.  The implementation of DEI also constitutes using racial discrimination in hiring, promotions and choice of vendors/suppliers. A report by Bloomberg News, owned by leftist billionaire Michael Bloomberg, laid out how this worked in 2021. Merely six percent of jobs at major companies analyzed by Bloomberg went to white individuals in 2021. Simultaneously, white people made up 68.5% of layoffs at the studied companies that shrank that same year. Notably, Bloomberg attributed this massive shift to some of the same promises demanded by the CBC.  Related: Jeremy Carl, Author of The Unprotected Class, Exposes DEI Initiatives in Exclusive Interview The AP made no mention of racial discrimination stemming from the CBC-endorsed DEI initiatives.  Conservatives are under attack! Contact ABC News (818) 460-7477, CBS News (212) 975-3247 and NBC News (212) 664-6192 and demand they report on the dangers of leftist DEI ideology infecting corporate America.

Rep. Mace: Biden-Harris Admin Needs to 'Cease and Desist’ Censorship

Rep. Mace: Biden-Harris Admin Needs to 'Cease and Desist’ Censorship

Is the Biden administration still interfering in elections and ordering social media companies to censor content? That’s what one Republican congresswoman set out to uncover. Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC), who chairs the Subcommittee on Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and Government Innovation, issued a Sept. 11 press release and letter to the president and vice president inquiring about the government’s continued censorship operations. In both, she addressed the issue of potential continued collusion between the administration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and tech companies to suppress speech related to elections. Mace insisted the government must “cease and desist any such activity” immediately. “In the interest of good government, and to ensure the integrity of the upcoming national election, I am writing to request information on any information suppression campaigns in which the Administration is currently engaged.” She also urged the administration to “ensure that all employees of the Executive Branch refrain from exerting political pressure on social media companies to censor content in accord with White House preferences.”  Mace’s message comes soon after Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg published a letter admitting his company had censored the New York Post reports on the Hunter Biden laptop scandal in 2020 after government pressure. Mace referred to that letter and the 2020 censorship in her message. She detailed how the FBI primed Facebook (Meta) to censor the laptop scandal with warning of “foreign interference” and “misinformation.” Mace highlighted how censorship of the scandal swung the 2020 election for Joe Biden. Indeed, an MRC poll just after the election showed that 17 percent of Biden voters would not have voted for him, a number Mace referenced in her letter. The congresswoman also noted Zuckerberg’s admission that his company has even censored humor and satire in response to pressure from the Biden-Harris administration.  Mace wrote that her House legislation to prevent such tech-government collusion never got past the Senate, and requested any communications between federal employees and social media companies related to censoring speech. “From the outset, your Administration has advertised its willingness to manipulate the content of social media sites,” Mace accused. She cited a July 2021 press briefing during which then-White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki announced that the Biden-Harris administration was ”flagging problematic posts for Facebook that spread disinformation.”  She noted that Biden’s White House “was in regular contact with social media companies to raise concerns about certain types of information on their platforms,” Mace added, “The White House has not apologized for this activity or indicated that it would cease and desist from engaging in such behavior.” Ahead of the 2024 election, it is key that such an assurance be made. Conservatives are under attack. Contact your representatives and demand that Big Tech be held to account to mirror the First Amendment while providing transparency, clarity on “hate speech” and equal footing for conservatives. Trump called Kim Jong Un ‘Rocket Man’— and Elton John ‘thought it was brilliant’

Donald Trump has been a fan of Elton John for years — and the liberal media was expecting the pop singer to disapprove. But to the media's disappointment, the pop star had some kind words to share about the former president in an interview with Variety magazine. “I know that you’re not a supporter of Donald Trump’s. He loves your music. How did it feel when he took the lyrics to ‘Rocket Man’ and he used it as a nickname for Kim Jong Un?” the reporter asked Elton. “I laughed, I thought it was brilliant,” Elton responded, laughing again. “I just thought, good on you Donald, I’m the rocket man,” he continued. “Donald’s always been a fan of mine, and he’s been to my concerts many, many, times. So, I mean, I’ve always been friendly towards him, and I thank him for his support.” “When he did that I just thought it was hilarious. Made me laugh,” he added. While the opportunity was ripe for Elton to bad-mouth the former president, he didn’t. And for that, Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report” is pleased. “He’s not saying he’s voting for him, you don’t get the indication that he is,” Rubin says, noting that the reporter tried to get Elton to “go after him and he doesn’t.” “Most of us don’t want to live in this hyper-polarized, twisted place I would say that we are in right now,” he adds. John Kirby mistakenly exposes the White House's disdain for veterans' concerns over botched Afghanistan withdrawal

American military veterans continue to seek accountability and answers regarding the Biden-Harris administration's disastrous and deadly withdrawal from Afghanistan. While some veterans may have previously suspected the Democratic administration was doing its best to ignore their concerns, John Kirby, the White House National Security Council communications adviser, appears to have accidentally confirmed on Wednesday that that's the case. Kirby reportedly sent a message intended for White House staffers to a Fox News Digital reporter, stating there was "no use in responding" to veterans' concerns about the Afghan withdrawal and its portrayal by the White House. Background The House Foreign Affairs Committee released a report Monday titled "Willful Blindness: An Assessment of the Biden-Harris Administration's Withdrawal from Afghanistan and the Chaos that Followed." Committee Chairman Michael McCaul (R-Texas) said in a statement: Our investigation reveals the Biden-Harris administration had the information and opportunity to take necessary steps to plan for the inevitable collapse of the Afghan government, so we could safely evacuate U.S. personnel, American citizens, green card holders, and our brave Afghan allies. At each step of the way, however, the administration picked optics over security. According to McCaul, the report makes clear that the Biden-Harris administration's botch job "placed U.S. servicemembers and U.S. State Department personnel in mortal danger" and led to the American and Afghan deaths and injuries at Abbey Gate. During Monday's White House press briefing, Kirby responded to the report, saying it "comes, of course, two years after their first report, and this one says little or nothing new." 'Absolutely despicable.' Kirby further characterized the report as "one-sided," then defended the Biden-Harris administration's actions, going so far as to suggest "there was no handover of U.S. equipment to the Taliban." Kirby also alleged "there was no deception, lying, or lack of transparency by this administration either during or after the withdrawal." Lack of transparency The White House's apparent unwillingness to accept responsibility or to at the very least take the report seriously enraged Florida Republican Rep. Cory Mills and other veterans. Mills, for instance, emphasized on X, "It’s time the Biden-Harris administration takes responsibility for abandoning thousands of Americans and allies, for handing over billions in U.S. military weapons and cash to the Taliban, for leaving women and children to suffer under Taliban rule, and for the 13 brave heroes who sacrificed two lives, the one they were living and the life they could have lived." Fox News Digital indicated that it contacted the White House, referencing several veterans' critiques of Kirby's remarks — including the suggestions that he was merely providing "cover" for or "deflecting" from the administration's ruinous withdrawal. The email chain was reportedly forwarded to White House staffers on the National Security Council. Then, thinking he was only responding to White House staffers on the chain, Kirby replied, "Obviously no use in responding. A 'handful' of vets indeed and all of one stripe." Having later realized what he had done, Kirby wrote back to the reporter, stating, "Clearly, I didn't realize you were on the chain." Republican backlash "This is how the Biden-Harris administration talks about the well-founded concerns of our nation’s veterans?" Sen. John Thune (R-S.D.) asked on X. "Just days after the anniversary of the deadly Afghanistan withdrawal. On the anniversary of 9/11. Our Gold Star families deserve better." Senior Trump adviser Jason Miller wrote, "Shame!" House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-La.) stressed, "Nobody at the White House should ever speak this way about our veterans seeking accountability for the Gold Star families the Biden-Harris Administration created with their reckless decisions. Absolutely despicable." Texas Rep. Ronny Jackson (R) suggested Kirby "is a DISGRACE!!" and should immediately resign. California Rep. Darrell Issa (R) wrote, "This White House has nothing but contempt for veterans who call them out." Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman McCaul said in a statement obtained by the New York Post that Kirby's comments were "appalling, but sadly not surprising." "The Biden-Harris administration has consistently disregarded our veterans, servicemembers, and Gold Star families over their botched withdrawal from Afghanistan," added McCaul. The Post indicated that the White House had not responded to its request for comment. Like Blaze News? Bypass the censors, sign up for our newsletters, and get stories like this direct to your inbox. 'I don't want him to kill Mike': Hulk Hogan says he's worried Jake Paul might hurt Mike Tyson

Legendary professional wrestler Hulk Hogan said he fears for Mike Tyson in his upcoming boxing match against former YouTuber Jake Paul.Paul recently fought ex-UFC star and bare-knuckle boxer Mike Perry in July in a boxing bout that many thought would be the end of Paul's storybook run. However, Paul brutalized Perry on his way to a sixth round TKO. The fight only took place after Tyson withdrew due to a medical emergency. With the Tyson fight rescheduled to November 15, Paul kept the July 20 date open and was happy to insert Perry in Tyson's place.'If you attack him you can suffocate him.'Appearing on the "Impaulsive" podcast, Hogan engaged in some preshow preamble with host Logan Paul, Jake's brother, about the upcoming event."Your brother is too strong," Hogan said of Jake. The Hulkster then recalled watching Paul's fight with Perry, which made him worried about what he could do to Tyson."As soon as I saw him get [Perry] up with the left to throw the overhand right? I went, 'Oh, my God,'" Hogan explained.Paul's brother told Hogan that Jake is actually far stronger than he looks and that the wrestler would be impressed if he saw how much weight he lifts.Hogan went on, "I mean really, it was scary. I love Mike to death. I don't want him to kill Mike. Jesus."The former WWF champion said that while Tyson is still crafty at his age, there is a path to victory for Paul."Mike is a snake. He will come out at you, but if you attack him you can suffocate him," Hogan advised. Hulk Hogan, Mike Tyson at Grauman's Chinese Theater on November 2, 2005Photo by Kevin Winter/Getty ImagesTyson has disagreed with criticisms of his age, previously stating that no athlete could do what he is doing at his age:"I'm 58 and what? I'm getting billions of views from just talking to somebody about fighting," Tyson said. "Everybody, even most of the athletes, they're jealous, that's whack. ... I say 'in your prime you couldn't draw a million people, man. What are you talking about, you couldn't sell out [an] arena.' Who at 58 could sell out an 80,000-seat arena?" he added."Right now I'm scared to death, but as the fight gets closer, the less nervous I become, because it's reality, and in reality I'm invincible," Tyson declared.Former UFC champion Daniel Cormier called the fight with Tyson a lose-lose situation for Paul, saying that he will get no accolades from defeating a 58-year-old but will lose his aura if he wins."That is my concern. Because what if this looks like a 58-year-old man, fighting a 28-year-old man, where Mike can’t draw [reserve energy]?" Cormier asked."What if Mike knocks him out though? Then it's over," he added.Like Blaze News? Bypass the censors, sign up for our newsletters, and get stories like this direct to your inbox. Sign up here!
