An accounting professor at a taxpayer-funded Pennsylvania university condemned former President Donald Trump and his supporters as “fascists” during a lecture where he urged his students to vote in November, video shared with The Daily Wire shows. William Lloyd ripped into Trump and Republicans during a managerial accounting class on September 4 at Commonwealth University-Lock Haven. The university is part of Pennsylvania’s public education system and is located in Clinton County, an area that largely backed Trump in 2020. “Get informed. It is important. There is a lot of disinformation out there,” Lloyd told his students last week, according to a recording of the lecture shared with The Daily Wire. “And vote. Vote in November. It’s your right. It’s your duty. As an American citizen, it is your responsibility to vote. It’s important.” Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris are currently deadlocked in Pennsylvania, one of a few states that could decide the election. Ahead of Tuesday’s debate in Philadelphia, both campaigns are reportedly vying for the city’s Latino vote. Lloyd’s calls for his students to vote in November came just after he showed a slide that read: “Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans.” Slide from Lloyd’s class. Bullets on the slide explain that “The Ronald Reagan Republican Party is Dead” and that it “has been transformed into a far right, Christian Fundamentalist, Fascists.” The slide also took shots at the Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025, an effort to staff the next Republican administration with conservatives which is not affiliated with the Trump campaign. According to Lloyd, Project 2025 is a “blueprint for the overthrow of the American government,” and contains plans of “weaponizing the DOJ” and the “mass termination of federal employees” During his lecture, Lloyd expressed his belief that the United States was currently in a civil war, and that Republicans would resort to violence after the November election. The class is supposed to focus on teaching students how managers can use accounting data in manufacturing and non-manufacturing businesses, according to a syllabus reviewed by The Daily Wire.  “I think that civil war started on January 6, 2021, with the insurrection. I think it’s been brewing for many years, possibly decades,” he said. “I think we are in the midst of a civil war. I think this civil war will be fought in the ballot box, at the ballot box, and in the courts, and possibly, ultimately in the streets. Because I do think this is going to turn violent after the November 5th election. I think we’re going see a resurgence of January 6 because these MAGA Republicans are not going to go quietly into this good night.”  A student in the class told The Daily Wire that Lloyd had previously opened up class with discussions of current events, but in a more neutral way that connected to class issues. The student said that Lloyd’s attacks on Republicans were completely inappropriate. “As a student aligned with the Republican Party, these statements were not only deeply offensive but also seemed grossly inappropriate for an academic setting, particularly in a managerial accounting class where such political commentary appeared irrelevant to the course material,” the student said. “Professors and educators must navigate current events with sensitivity to ensure they are maintaining a neutral unbiased learning space. This story is important because students like me deserve to receive the quality education we are paying for, rather than being subjected to the professor’s personal choices,” the student added. In a September 3 post, Lloyd said that Trump was an “anti-Christ.”  “Throughout history, there have been many anti-Christ’s. Adolph Hitler, Vladimir Putin, and Osama Ben Laden [sic] to name a few. Let me be clear. Trump is an anti-Christ. He pretends to stand for Christian values, but he does not. The risk of another Donald Trump Presidency is the loss of our Democracy, the loss of human rights, and the inhumane, immoral, atrocities that would be leveled on the American population,” he wrote.  In an August post, Lloyd wrote that Trump “belongs in jail, not in the oval office.”  School administrators told The Daily Wire they were looking into the incident, and that staff were not supposed to endorse political figures. “Commonwealth University officials are aware of the concerns that have been raised and the university is looking into the matter,” a school spokesman told The Daily Wire. “The personal views and opinions of our faculty and staff do not reflect the views and opinions of the university as a whole, and the university does not endorse political candidates.” In an email to The Daily Wire, Lloyd admitted that he had crossed a line and said he would apologize to his class. “I should not have expressed my views to the students, that was an error in judgement on my part,” Lloyd said. “I will refrain from such discussion in the future. My political views are what they are and I stand by them, but I agree that It was inappropriate to express my views to the students. I will apologize to them.”

It’s election season, which means Hollywood is pulling out all the stops to push a Democrat over the top. We’ve already seen White Dudes for Harris, preaching stars at the Democratic National Convention, and wall-to-wall social media messages from the likes of Mark Hamill and Rob Reiner. Now, it’s time to talk politics at your neighborhood movie house. This year offers a twist to that tried and blue formula. A few titles buck the progressive narrative, offering a different take on presidential politics. It’s both a sign of the times and a warning shot across the cultural bow. “Hollywood” takes on a whole new meaning as upstart media companies disrupt the usual narratives. The most prominent title still clings to DNC talking points. “The Apprentice,” which made a splash at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, explores the early years of real estate mogul Donald Trump, played by Sebastian Stan. AKA the Republican nominee for the White House. Director Ali Abbasi says the film, slated for an October 11 release, isn’t a hit piece. Nor is he telling Americans how to vote. To quote a popular meme, “Sure, Jan.” “Do I want to show you some stuff about character? Yes, I would very much love that and I think we have some great stuff to show … What you do with that knowledge is up to you. But that knowledge might come in handy if you want to go and vote.” Team Trump already cried foul over the film, particularly a scene where Stan’s Trump assaults then-wife Ivana Trump (Maria Bakalova from “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm”). The real Ivana Trump leveled the charge during divorce proceedings but later recanted on the record. Abbasi included the scene anyway. Here’s Ivana in her own words years later: “I have recently read some comments attributed to me from nearly 30 years ago at a time of very high tension during my divorce from Donald. The story is totally without merit,” Ivana said in a statement to CNN. “Donald and I are the best of friends and together have raised three children that we love and are very proud of. I have nothing but fondness for Donald and wish him the best of luck on his campaign. Incidentally, I think he would make an incredible president.” A more curious anti-Trump film looms in the not-so-distant future, and while there’s no official release date it seems absurd that it won’t go live before November 5. “2073” is speculative fiction, a quasi-documentary that examines where the world might be if we keep heading in the wrong direction. Think income inequality, climate change, and other progressive talking points run wild. The film’s teaser features footage of villains like Vladimir Putin and Trump, the latter suggesting the dystopian vision has roots in his presidency. The Trump connection doesn’t end there. The film, which just bowed at the Venice Film Festival, features a brief visual tease of more Trumpian leaders. A digital billboard announces “Chairwoman Trump celebrates 30th year in power,” complete with Ivanka Trump’s image. Subtle. It’s the kind of hard-left content that may draw little attention at the cineplex but outsized media coverage. That’s already happened. Another project promises a microscopic audience on two fronts. A new CNN documentary (a contradiction in terms given the platform’s overt bias) called “Kamala” should drop sometime in October, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Don’t expect Harris’ word salad speeches or epic flip-flops to get a fair hearing. Documentaries rarely score big with audiences. Plus, the title in question is a short film, further hampering its potential. The title will reportedly shift to VOD platforms before Election Day, which seems a better fit given its length. Conservatives have several options as election season marches on. Consider the latest installment in the “God’s Not Dead” saga, out September 12. Subtitled, “In God We Trust,” the sequel finds Pastor Dave (David A.R. White) running for Congress against a far-Left zealot (Ray Price) who loathes religion. Cultural sparks fly, with our hero struggling to balance his Christian beliefs with the rough and tumble world of Beltway politics. The film’s cast alone, including openly conservative stars like Scott Baio and Samaire Armstrong, sends a political message. So, too, does the film’s plot which is both pro-faith and anti-progressive. By now, the franchise is preaching directly to the choir, but said choir is given few choices at the movies. Or, at least, that was once the case. This year is a little different. The Daily Wire team that uncorked “What Is a Woman?” two years ago returns with an even more incendiary title. “Am I Racist?” finds star Matt Walsh going undercover as a trained DEI instructor to expose the radical movement. The film hits theaters nationwide on September 13, the first time a Daily Wire title moves out from behind a paywall. And the timing couldn’t be better. The Democratic ticket, by stark comparison, is headed by a politician many see as the ultimate DEI hire, Vice President Kamala Harris. Democrats have been amplifying January 6 for years, yet the party curiously kept the topic mostly off-stage during the recent DNC convention in Chicago. Now, The Babylon Bee is resurrecting that day for a mockumentary sure to make the Left squirm. “January 6: The Most Deadliest Day,” available October 11 for Bee subscribers, takes a tongue-in-cheek look at the Capitol riot. The mockumentary’s paywall suggests the film won’t find a wide audience, but the Bee’s brand of satire hits both sides enough to suggest some center-left viewers may find a message in the comic madness. And, if the satire lands as expected, it could leave a mark. That’s the whole goal of October surprises, to make voters think twice before making their votes heard. Errors in the 2020 census benefited Democrats and hurt Republicans, and these inaccuracies could make a difference on Election Day. In 2022, a report from the U.S. Census Bureau revealed that the 2020 census incorrectly counted the American population in at least 14 states, leading some states to lose congressional representation. The report was highlighted at the time by Heritage Foundation scholar Hans von Spakovsky, who told The Daily Wire that the errors could benefit Democrats in November. “The result of the Census errors in Florida and Texas, two red states, should have three more electoral seats that they never got,” von Spakovsky wrote in an email. “Whereas three blue states, Minnesota, Rhode Island, and Colorado, have three congressional seats – and thus three electoral votes – they should not have. In a razor thin election, this could make the difference in victory.” Another Heritage scholar, Stephen Moore, who is also an author and founder of the Club For Growth, brought the report back into the light over the weekend, noting, “A majority of the overcounted states were blue, while a majority of the undercounted states were red.” The 2020 Census robbed Red states of electoral seats. The error size in New York resulted in a population miscount of +695,422. Minnesota and Rhode Island, whose overcounting resulted in them keeping electoral votes they should have lost, overcounted their populations by 216,971 and 55,457, respectively. Though Rhode Island overcounted by a smaller amount than the other states (it was still a 5% increase in population, however), it managed to hold onto a congressional seat that it should have lost, the Associated Press reported in 2022. If Rhode Island had counted 19,000 fewer residents – as it should have – it would have lost one of its two congressional seats. Had that happened, the AP reported, that congressional seat would have gone to New York. As for Florida, it undercounted residents by 750,600. It only needed about 171,500 more residents to gain an extra seat. Texas, too, was undercounted by about 560,000 residents when it only needed 189,000 to gain another congressional seat. In his analysis of the Census Bureau report, von Spakovsky noted: Under the 2020 Census enumeration released on April 26, 2021, the total apportionment population of the United States was reported as 331,108,434. After application of the “method of equal proportion,” five states each gained one new congressional seat: Colorado, Florida, Montana, North Carolina, and Oregon. Texas gained two new seats. Due to population decreases, seven states each lost one congressional seat: California, Illinois, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. These errors can’t be corrected until the 2030 census, which could bring additional, similar errors.

So, this pregnant woman’s best friend decided to take matters into her own hands with the most precious gift she could offer. “Auntie Tay” provided the mother-to-be with hand-me-downs from her own family! She also penned a heartwarming note explaining the present.
