If you’re a Philadelphia hockey fan, you know all about the Flyers mascot Gritty. Even though no one really knows WHAT Gritty is, the entire city embraces him as one of their own. Seeing Gritty on the street might make you think he was scary. This leads us to Gritty’s latest adventure at Eastern State Penitentiary in Pennsylvania. The only potential problem is that Gritty is such a well-known and beloved part of the city that he might not be as scary as a zombie. They could put a white sheet over him and turn him into a hulking ghost. His bright orange coloration makes him the right color to be a walking pumpkin.
