Baring it all. It looks like Kacey Musgraves is going au naturel in the music video for her song "The Architect," which she shared a teaser of on her social media accounts a little while ago. You see shots of some beautiful landscapes and nature, as well as several of Kacey sans clothing, covered completely in mud laying on the ground. I mean, she looks absolutely stunning, there's no arguing that: https://www.instagram.com/p/DDIGVDBJ6z7/ “The Architect” was the immediate standout for me on Kacey’s Deeper Well album that was released in March, and was written by Kacey along with Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne, who are her co-writers on her hit single and all-around incredible song, “Merry Go ‘Round.” It’s an absolute stunner, which finds Kacey tackling some deep subject matter in terms of the universe and how we all got here, where she marvels at simple creations. She questions whether everything in life was meticulously designed by God, wanting to see the “blueprints and plans” for everything because of how beautiful and confusing it can all be. In the lyrics, she mentions being "shapeable clay," so I'm sure that's where the idea to lay in the mud came from: "Sometimes I look in the mirror And wish I could make a request Could I pray it away?
