Baseball Hall-of-Famer Steve Garvey, now the GOP senatorial candidate from California, visited Israel Defense Force Soldiers wounded in the war in Gaza. Garvey went to Chaim Sheba Medical Center, where he visited with soldiers who had sustained serious injuries, including amputation of limbs, from their efforts at eliminating Hamas. Country star Zach Bryan invited the now infamous “Hawk Tuah” girl, who went viral for an on-the-street interview she did, onto the stage during a show at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium on Saturday. The 28-year-old country star surprised the crowd when he invited the internet sensation on stage as he was singing the encore song, “Revival,” per Billboard. Bryan is currently on his Quittin Time Tour. “Hawk Tuah” girl has been identified as Hailey Welch, 23, who became massively popular on social media for giving her thoughts on what men desired during sex. “You gotta give ’em that ‘hawk tuah’ and spit on that thang!” she said in a clip that has been circulating online. She made the comments during an interview with the creators of Tim & Dee TV. Welch was wearing a cowboy hat and white boots at Bryan’s show. She carried a drink onto the stage and delivered a “hawk tua!” to the assembled crowd.  Kacey Musgraves also guest-starred during the same show. She and Bryan performed their song, “I Remember Everything,” together.  Hawk Tuah merchandise has become available from Fathead Threads, a family-owned business based in Marshall County, Tennessee, according to Rolling Stone.  “Of course she hasn’t gotten a dime from the first viral video that went out,” brand owner Jason Poteete, who knew Welch prior to her going viral, told the outlet. “Nobody was asking permission for her to do nothing, neither. I just wanted her to get some profit off of this deal.” “There are some crazy people in the world who’ve reached out to her,” he added. “She’s probably one of the most well-known people in the world at this point. But I don’t know if she’s embraced it.” Rolling Stone calculated that based on sales figures provided, about $65,000 worth of merchandise had been sold so far.  “It could be a blessing or a curse,” Poteete told the outlet. “She may be in the right place at the right time or the wrong place at the wrong time. [But] I think she’ll do fine in the end.” He added, “She has a bubbly personality. She can be somewhat risque. You never know what she’s gonna say. Democrats raged over the Supreme Court’s ruling on Monday that former President Donald Trump is immune from criminal prosecution for official acts taken as president, but not for unofficial conduct. Justices voted 6-3 along ideological lines in the decision and sent the case in which Trump pleaded not guilty to charges accusing him of unlawfully plotting to overturn the results of the 2020 election back to a lower D.C. court for further review. “The President is not above the law,” the ruling said. “But under our system of separated powers, the President may not be prosecuted for exercising his core constitutional powers, and he is entitled to at least presumptive immunity from prosecution for his official acts.” Democrats responded with a range of false and histrionic claims about what the ruling means with some going as far as to claim that President Joe Biden could have Trump assassinated, claim it was an “official act”, and be shielded from prosecution. “Make no mistake, with the guardrails gone, a reelected President Trump would label everything he did—no matter how partisan, extreme, or overtly criminal—’official,’ and based on this ruling, he’d get away with it,” claimed Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI). “With the radical Supreme Court majority firmly behind him, Donald Trump continues marching toward becoming Dictator-in-Chief. Far-left activists took a line from Justice Sonia Sotomayor’s dissent in which she falsely claimed that the president could order “the Navy’s Seal Team 6 to assassinate a political rival” and he would be “immune” from prosecution and said that it meant that Biden could have Trump assassinated and get away with it. “I strongly encourage Joe Biden to take advantage of his absolute immunity — which he has been lawfully granted by Trump’s Supreme Court Justices — to do whatever ‘official acts’ he needs to do in order to prevent Donald Trump from becoming President,” said one far-left activist. Pro-Biden activist Harry Sisson posted on X: “According to the Supreme Court, Biden could now send in Seal Team 6 to take all of them out. He could send in the military to take out Trump. The GOP-led House Judiciary Committee sued Attorney General Merrick Garland on Monday, requesting that a judge order the audio of President Joe Biden’s interview with Special Counsel Robert Hur be released.  Earlier this year, the Biden administration asserted executive privilege to block release of the audio of the two-day interview in which Hur pressed the president over his handling of classified documents. The lawsuit from the Judiciary Committee says Biden’s assertion of executive privilege is “frivolous” and the audio of the interviews is important for lawmaker’s inquiry into the Justice Department’s handling of the Biden documents investigation.  “The Committee thus needs those recordings to assess the Special Counsel’s characterization of the President, which he and White House lawyers have forcefully disputed, and ultimate recommendation that President Biden should not be prosecuted,” the suit says. Hur recommended no charges for Biden despite the fact he found Biden improperly retained classified documents while out of office, noting his team found that Biden struggled to remember the dates his son died or when he was vice president. A jury would view Biden, who is now 81, as “a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory,” Hur’s report concluded. The House Judiciary Committee suit asks the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia to overrule the assertion of executive privilege and make Garland produce the tapes. House lawmakers say the audio will provide important verbal and nonverbal context missing from the transcripts of the interview that have been made available.  CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP “That verbal and nonverbal context is quite important here because the Special Counsel relied on the way that President Biden presented himself during their interview — ’as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory’ — when ultimately recommending that President Biden should not be prosecuted for unlawfully retaining and disclosing classified information,” the suit says. “The audio recordings, not the cold transcripts, are the best available evidence of how President Biden presented himself during the interview,” the suit adds.  House Republicans previously voted to hold Garland in contempt over the tapes, but the DOJ declined to prosecute.
