Two police officers in Florida served and protected a 104-year-old when he helped wrangle a 5-foot-long gator. According to Fox News, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office got a call from a resident who was “afraid to leave her house due to the alligator.” So Officer Jeff Kopp, his partner, and a licensed trapper named Mike Dragich headed out to the home. The department posted a video of the silly pursuit to its Facebook page. It shows Officer Kopp making an arrest while cracking some jokes. “Oh, hey, buddy! You are under arrest,” he says as he holds the wiggling reptile. Facebook The camera caught Officer Kopp showing off his gator as he headed back to his truck where he gave the “nuisance” a strong talking to. Facebook “We can’t cuff him,” the officer said. “You are under arrest. You’re going to leave the grandmas alone. I’m going to take you downtown. For Saturday’s Good Morning America on ABC, White House correspondent MaryAlice Parks denounced Donald Trump’s Friday speech, where he attacked the process that ended with him being found guilty on 34 counts of falsifying business records for “including misleading claims.” Unfortunately for ABC viewers, Parks never specified what these misleading claims were. In studio, Parks began by recalling that, "Yesterday, we saw President Trump absolutely raging about this case, airing grievances, attacking everyone involved. Republicans then piling on. All of it prompting President Biden to break his silence.”     Who is "we"? ABC didn't show the speech live. That aside, Parks transitioned to a recorded report and added that Trump is “Promising to appeal his conviction” and that he took to “microphones to fume and rail about the case against him, calling it a scam.” Trump was then shown declaring that “it was a rigged trial. We wanted a venue change where we could have a fair trial. We didn't get it. We wanted a judge change. We wanted a judge that wasn't conflicted, and obviously he didn't do that.” Parks dismissed Trump’s venue claim, “Trump convicted as charged on all 34 felony counts, the jury selected by both the prosecution and the defense, buying the prosecution's argument that Trump illegally worked to falsify business records to conceal a hush money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels and keep her story from voters before the 2016 election.” However, she also opined that the speech was “unapologetic and aggressive. Trump's remarks also rambling, at times, hard to follow, including misleading claims about how the case unfolded and attacks against President Biden, the prosecuting team, and judge. At one point, calling him a ‘devil’ and a ‘tyrant.’” It is hard to tell what specific claims Parks is trying to refute. Other fact-checkers have tried to do opinion-checking, claiming former Biden DOJ number three official Matthew Colangelo’s presence on Alvin Bragg’s team was no big deal. Glenn Kessler at the Washington Post argued Judge Juan Merchan’s donation to Biden was also a nothingburger because the New York Advisory Committee on Judicial Ethics said so, which is hard to take seriously from the media, including Parks, because it has spent the past several weeks having a collective freakout over Martha-Ann and Justice Samuel Alito’s flags. The fact-checkers also took issue with Trump calling the falsificiation of a misdemeanor because Trump was accused of also trying to cover up some other crime, but that other crime was never specified, leading to serious Sixth Amendment concerns. For Parks, details were not important as she proceeded to hype Biden’s response to Trump’s speech. Elon Musk and his team at Neuralink have turned to the public for help in solving the company's data compression issue, according to the Debrief. The company's primary focus has been providing mobility to those who are paralyzed, blind, or visually impaired. The Neuralink device is used by attaching it to a human skull and having its wires scan for neuron activity before sending out a wireless signal. The company experienced some success after its first human patient, Noland Arbaugh, a quadriplegic, used the technology to play chess games using only his mind. 'It's essentially seeking a miracle.'The reason for this success is that the company was able to crunch data in such a way that made hands-free chess playing possible. However, the company has now turned to the public to help solve its data compression problem.As it stands, the Debrief reported that the brain implant generates around 200 times more brain data per second than it can currently transmit wirelessly. The company is now seeking a new compression algorithm that will help close the gap between brain data and the amount it wirelessly transmits. The company posted the challenge to its website, writing: "Neuralink is looking for new approaches to this compression problem, and exceptional engineers to work on it. If you have a solution, email compression@neuralink.com.""Your submission will be scored on the compression ratio it achieves on a different set of electrode recordings. Comedian and libertarian political commentator Dave Smith teed off on former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo during a wide-ranging debate, including on lockdowns, ivermectin, and the conviction of former President Donald Trump. The two political commentators squared off during a debate hosted by Patrick Bet-David – the founder of Valuetainment. Referencing the attacks on Joe Rogan for using ivermectin, Cuomo claimed that he "didn't like what people did" to the prolific podcaster. Smith immediately fired back, "You did it. No, no.
