Step Aside, Jaguar: Different Car Company Puts Them to Shame with Pro-Family Ad

It's never a good sign when a months-old commercial is getting a warmer embrace than a ballyhooed new rebranding campaign. And yet, that's exactly where British luxury car manufacturer Jaguar has found itself, after critics dredged up a September ad for another car maker, Volvo, that is now going viral...

DEVELOPING: President Trump Expected To Nominate Former GOP Senator For Agriculture Secretary

President Trump reportedly will nominate Kelly Loeffler, former U.S. Senator from Georgia, for the role of secretary of the Department of Agriculture. “Trump is expected to offer Kelly Loeffler the job as the Secretary of Agriculture, I’m told. She’s expected at Mar-a-Lago Club this afternoon,” CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins said. “This job will be one to watch for many reasons, including RFK Jr.’s promise to assert his influence over the agriculture industry and Trump’s pledge to carry out mass deportations,” she added. This job will be one to watch for many reasons, including RFK Jr.'s promise to assert his influence over the agriculture industry and Trump's pledge to carry out mass deportations. — Kaitlan Collins (@kaitlancollins) November 22, 2024 Trump is scheduled to meet with Loeffler Friday afternoon, but the nomination is not final. Per CNN: Loeffler, who briefly represented Georgia in the Senate, had fundraised for Trump during the 2024 race and raised several million dollars for his campaign over the summer when she hosted a debate watch party with Republican National Committee Chair Michael Whatley. Several of Trump’s other Cabinet picks — including Sen. Marco Rubio and Rep. Elise Stefanik — were at that party. Loeffler is also co-chairing Trump’s inauguration, as CNN previously reported. The agriculture job will likely be a significant one — especially as Trump’s pick to run the Department of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., has promised to assert his influence over the agriculture industry. Loeffler, appointed to the Senate by Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp over the wishes of Trump, lost her seat in a 2021 runoff to Democratic now-Sen. Raphael Warnock. Former GA Senator Kelly Loeffler seems like an unconventional AgSecretary pick – if true – but I recall she comes from a farming and ranching background. Here’s a post she made praising @NationalFFA in 2020. https://t.co/nax5MxoPNn pic.twitter.com/X5myrnqBbE — Gabriella Hoffman (@Gabby_Hoffman) November 22, 2024 From The Hill: The former senator backed Trump during his Georgia criminal case, arguing the racketeering criminal indictment against him and his allies is politically motivated. She testified as a witness before a Fulton grand jury in 2022 and was among the dozens of people the special grand jury recommended be indicted, but Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis (D) eventually decided against charging her. Loeffler penned an op-ed in February in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, calling on the judge overseeing the case to remove Willis. She argued Willis’s relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade made it impossible for her to have prosecuted the case against Trump fairly. Before serving in the Senate, Loeffler was CEO at digital asset company Bakkt. She was the co-owner of the WNBA’s Atlanta Dream and sold the team in 2021. The agriculture industry is closely watching Trump’s transition, as Robert F. Kennedy Jr., has vowed to crack down on unhealthy foods if he’s confirmed to run the Department of Health and Human Resources. Trump made gains among rural voters in pivotal battleground states like Georgia and North Carolina, which helped fuel his victory in the 2024 race.

President Trump Officially Flips County In Battleground State To Red For First Time Since 1988

President Trump is the first Republican presidential candidate to win Pennsylvania’s Bucks County in over 30 years. The last Republican to carry the county was George H.W. Bush in 1988. “It’s official! The final numbers are in. Donald Trump has won #BucksCounty! This is the first time since 1988 that Bucks County has voted for a Republican for President!” Bucks County GOP wrote. “We’re immensely proud of our committee members, volunteers, and grassroots groups that all worked together to achieve this historic victory!” it added. Per Fox News: In a meeting last week, Bucks County Commissioner Diane Ellis-Marseglia, a Democrat, voted to count provisional ballots that were missing one of two required voter signatures. She did so after being told by a county attorney that the state Supreme Court had already ruled that such ballots cannot be counted. “We all know that precedent by a court doesn’t matter anymore in this country and people violate laws any time they want,” Ellis-Marseglia said in a clip that has since gone viral on social media. “So for me, if I violate this law, it’s because I want a court to pay attention to it. There is nothing more important than counting votes.” Facing a packed meeting before an outraged public, Ellis-Marseglia read out her apology on Wednesday – in between jeering and calls for her to resign. “Last Thursday, when I spoke at the meeting that you’re all here about, the passion in my heart got the best of me, and I apologize again for that,” she said. “That was a hearing, and we were talking about provisional ballots. We were specifically talking about the fact that there were certain provisional ballots where a judge of elections did not sign and did not make sure that a voter signed on the outside envelope. To me, it was frustrating and unconscionable that we would have to take away somebody’s vote not because they made a mistake, but because an employee, one of our members … one of the judges of elections didn’t know what to do or forgot or made a mistake. That issue that I spoke on has now gone viral from my comments. It was genuinely not the best words. I would do it all again. I feel terrible about it. I should have been more clear, please, I will be more clear in the future.” WATCH:

A congressional investigation into the events of January 6th, 2021 has revealed that the FBI made no effort to secure uncorrupted cell phone data because ‘it appears the FBI did not want the data’ that could have identified the person responsible for planting pipe bombs at the Republican and Democratic National Committee headquarters on that day.
