And these happen to be professing Republicans. Since the Biden creature had dropped out of the race, I can only assume that these same Republicans would have preferred the Harlot over Trump.
[Definitely not of a right spirit here.]

Randy Houser Calls On Miranda Lambert For Reimagined Version Of “Still That Cowboy”

Randy Houser is putting a new twist on "Still That Cowboy, " a cut from his 2022 record Note To Self. And partnering with Miranda Lambert is a match made in heaven. Over the past year, Houser has been going back into his archives and reimagining some of his older tracks. This is the third tune that Houser is giving a little facelift off his sixth studio record, releasing a secondary version of "Rub A Little Dirt On It" with the addition of Riley Green and "Country Round Here" with Justin Moore. Houser is doing it again today, looping in Texas native, Miranda Lambert, to give "Still That Cowboy" new life. "I always wanted to have Miranda sing on this song because I could hear her voice on it with me. I didn’t have the guts to ask for a long time I guess but she’s just incredible. One of my favorite singers and favorite people. I’m so appreciative of her singing on it. She sounds like an angel!" Miranda adds: “Randy has been a friend for a long time, yet we’ve never recorded one together. I have loved his voice for forever and am honored he asked me to sing on ‘Still That Cowboy.’”  "Still That Cowboy" is a sweet love song where Houser sings about hoping the girl he is falling in love with has the same feelings for him. He hopes that she wakes up and chooses him every day as he chooses her. He hopes that as they build a life together and as life throws twists and turns at them, he is "Still That Cowboy" she wants to be with. "You were dressed in white on a champagne nightWe were drunk on an I do kissFunny how the honeymoon fades, all the suddenYou're a kid with a couple kidsYeah, the minutes get a little bit lessAnd the missing us gets a little moreBut I can't get you out of my headAnd I hope I'm running through yoursAnd that I'm Still that cowboy that stole your heartStill that right one you chose from the startAnd when the nights get long and the years roll byWhen you wake up and you look at meI hope I'm still that cowboy that rode up in your dreams, yeah..." Lambert is the powerful female vocalist that I never knew this song needed. I've always loved the original cut of the track, but having her support Houser through the chorus and on a few lines in each verse amps up the meaning of the lyrics. Having a female perspective on the track without significantly changing the original composition makes the listener feel that the woman Houser sings of has the same hopes for the longevity of their relationship. It is almost as though Lambert hopes she's "Still That Cow(girl)" her lover chooses to be with daily. This new collaboration, along with the previously released duets and another one still on the way, will be released a part of Houser's Note To Self Deluxe album, arriving January 2025. I am sure you'll find this one repeat like it has been for me all morning. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQ3Vptv06wE

Kip Moore Drops Two New Songs, “Flowers In December” And “Wildfire”

Kip Moore Drops Two New Songs, “Flowers In December” And “Wildfire”

TWO new songs from Kip Moore. Today, he put out a pair of songs, one called "Flowers in December" which he wrote with Erich Wigdahl, and one called "Wildfire" that he wrote with Oscar Charles, Dan Couch and Hank Born. These releases come on the heels of Kip's first batch of new music in quite a while, also including “Live Here To Work” (which he put out in September), and "Learning As I Go," which came out in October. In terms of a full studio album, Kip released his fifth studio album Damn Love in early 2023, though he’s turned the page to a new chapter, now signed with Virgin Music Group, after leaving his longtime label MCA Nashville earlier this year. Of the two, "Flowers In December" is definitely my favorite, and Kip says he pulled inspiration from many different places to create it. For me, as someone who has listened to his music for years, it feels more in line with some of his earlier stuff in terms of the sound, which is intriguing to me in terms of what the new project will sound like as a whole: "We’ve played ‘Flowers In December’ a couple of times live and the reaction was just so visceral we knew this had to be the next song to be released. I’ve always been influenced by different types of music, that began when I was a kid. This song has so many different threads of those inspirations running through it. I’m also fortunate enough to be in a new chapter of my career, and so with that in mind I decided to make good on releasing more and more music as the songs are recorded, and so I’m also releasing ‘Wildfire’ today. When we wrote and recorded this song there was no agenda in mind and all the walls came down on trying to fit into any kind of perceived box. I hope people are able to feel this music the way we did while making it." Kip has said that it's part of a forthcoming album, which will likely be released sometime early next year (I'm guessing). It seems as though this big label change has allowed Kip to do more creatively, and more specifically how he wants to with releasing more music and all, which I think is a really good thing. Additionally, on Wednesday, Kip received the 2024 International Artist Achievement Award at the CMA Awards, as he's been touring a lot overseas this year in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and more, where he actually has a huge following, selling thousands of tickets across different countries. I'm sure an album announcement is on the way sooner rather than later to follow a solid year touring everywhere, and from what I've heard so far, it's shaping up to be a solid project and I am really looking forward to hearing what he's come up with considering the new chapter, and more importantly, new inspirations. You can listen to both songs below. 5 things that made us smile this week

After a harrowing election season, we could all use an emotional pick-me-up. Thankfully, the internet never fails to deliver. Check out five uplifting stories we’ve found that made us smile this week. Enjoy—and don't forget to share the love!1. This toddler's adorable reaction @vita.paskar This is when things start to get exciting ? when they begin to understand! #fyp #christmas #target #toddler ♬ Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree - Brenda Lee Victoria Paskar’s son Ellis had just been born last December, so when it came to appreciating the magic of the holiday season, it wasn't something he was really able to do. This year, however, that’s changed: In an adorable TikTok video, Paskar caught the moment when Ellis (now a toddler) notices the lit-up trees and holiday decorations. So magical and pure in every way.2. More meals for seniors in need Subaru - Share the Love Event and Meals on WheelsHunger is a national problem, and one that Subaru is helping to fix. Thanks to the Subaru Share the Love Event, Subaru has delivered more than 4.6 million meals and friendly visits to seniors facing hunger and isolation. Since 2008, Subaru is the largest automotive donor to Meals on Wheels—and they’re just getting started. With every new Subaru sale, Subaru and its retailers donate at least $300 to charities like Meals on Wheels.3. This five-year-old piano prodigy brings down the house with Mozart Alberto Cartuccia Cingolani wows audiences with his amazing musical talents.Pianoforte/FacebookA clip of a five-year-old performing at the 10th International Music Competition in Italy is now going viral, and it’s no surprise why. To little to even reach the pedals with his feet, Alberto Cartuccia Cingolani still wows the audience with a masterful performance of a Mozart piece. According to his mother, Alberto had participated in seven national and international music competitions and won first place in all of them, all by the time he was four and a half. It’s like he’s channeling Amadeus himself.4. An adopted man reunites with his bio mom and forms a "sweet" connection Lenore Lindsey and Vamarr HunterABC 7 / YouTubeWhen 50-year-old Vamarr Hunter decided to take a genealogy test to find his biological mother, he had no idea how close he had already been to finding her. After a genealogy test, Hunter discovered that his mother, Lenore Lindsey, who had given him up for adoption as an infant, was actually the owner of “Give Me Some Sugar” in South Shore Chicago—Hunter’s favorite bakery. The two experienced an “immediate connection” after meeting, and after Lindsey suffered a stroke, Hunter stepped in to manage the bakery full-time. No, you’re crying.5. A teacher uses AI to inspire her classroom See on Instagram Now this is wholesome: An elementary teacher in Turkey named Gülümser Balci used artificial intelligence to create images of her students as their future selves in their dream jobs. Each kid is shocked and delighted to see themselves as adults, living out their dreams. For more things that'll make you smile, check out all the ways Subaru is sharing the love this holiday season, here.
