The culture war is hitting college campuses hard. It looks like their gravy train is coming to an end. Many colleges are worried about how a Trump presidency might challenge “woke” Marxist policies like DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion). And now debates over the purpose of college are heating up, leaving institutions bracing for impact. Is it worth it to go to college and end up with $500,000 in debt just so you can have a degree in gender studies? Good luck getting a job with that, other than teaching at some woke school. But that’s coming to an end too. The whole education system is a mess. These institutions of propaganda need a complete overhaul. The court ruled that retrying Smollett after his initial case was dismissed as part of a plea deal breached his agreement with the state. How convient. Smollett initially reported being attacked in 2019 by masked men. Turns out evidence suggested he orchestrated the event. Originally he got 150 days in jail, but that was just too harsh for this black gay actor, so he was released after 6 days, after making a pinky promise to do better. (Okay that last part was an assumption, but he was released after 6 days.) Hope he doesn’t get too comfortable. We hold that a second prosecution under these circumstances is a due process violation, and we therefore reverse defendant’s conviction.” Smollett, who is Black and gay, reported to Chicago police that he was the victim of a racist and homophobic attack by two men wearing ski masks in January 2019. Charges against Smollett were originally dropped. After special prosecutor Kim Foxx requested a new inquiry, the “Empire” star was convicted on five felony counts and later sentenced to 150 days in county jail.
