Funny Sign Uses Heartbreak To Help Marathon Runners Find Their Second Wind

Endurance is everything when you’re in a marathon. That’s one of the reasons it’s oh-so helpful to train. Still, when the big day comes, anything can happen. Thankfully, there are lots of folks who are happy to provide moral support from the sidelines. These kind folks will often hold up signs of encouragement. While some choose to share the kind of motivational words you’d expect, this couple made a particularly unexpected and funny sign — and runners are absolutely loving it! The sign is simple but powerful: “Remember when he cheated on you?” This sign no doubt elicits a wide range of responses from the runners. No matter the exact response, though, one thing is clear: It gives them the boost needed to keep going! As you’ll see in the video below, the most common reaction was laughter and smiling. @fruityp3bblez some motivation my gals #marathon ♬ i like the way you kiss me – Artemas It’s so heartwarming to see these runners take the time to show their appreciation for the sign. In fact, in the comments of the video, one of the runners shares how much the sign meant to them. “Ya’ll, I saw your sign today and it legit gave me some last minute power to the finish!!” the runner shares. Unexpected Funny Sign Motivates Marathon Runners The runners in the marathon aren’t the only ones appreciative of this clever sign. After seeing this viral video, people from all around the world are expressing how much they love it. After all, it’s always so heartwarming when people find small ways to make a stranger’s day a little bit better. “The girlies finding that second wind,” someone shares, adding, “You know what? I DO remember.” “Listen. I will never do a marathon, but if you showed up at every mile with this sign,” one person writes, “I just might…” You can find the source of this story’s featured image here! Driver Expected Road Rage… But Got Something Way More Interesting

Road rage is defined as “a motorist’s uncontrolled anger that is usually provoked by another motorist’s irritating act and is expressed in aggressive or violent behavior” in the Merriam-Webster dictionary. Unfortunately, it has become a daily occurrence on our roadways. When one man cut off another driver and pulled alongside him, he expected some road rage. The driver the man cut off did “flip the bird,” but instead of road rage, it was just a rubber chicken. @missfortunatemusic No because what did he mean by this #fyp #roadrage ♬ walking on a dream by empire of the sun – sophie The man recording was the driver that cut off the man in the truck. We’re not sure if it was accidental. The driver could only stare at the truck driver, who used a rubber chicken to vent his road rage. Holding the chicken up, the man grasped it gently by the neck. He moved the head of the rubber chicken back and forth in a “tsk-tsk, shame on you” manner. Image from TikTok. The man’s silence and disapproving stare were his only displays of displeasure. His classy use of the rubber chicken to make a statement is an excellent alternative to road rage. According to The Zebra, 92 percent of motorists witnessed some form of road rage in 2023. SafeMotorist reports that 218 murders and 12,610 injuries over the past seven years are the result of road rage incidents. Imagine how nice the world would be if everyone responded with a rubber chicken instead of road rage. Image from TikTok. The driver edited the video to add happy sparkles. As the signal changed, the old man offered one more disapproving stare as he placed his hand on the wheel before turning right. Getting a rubber chicken shaming will make you smile. Share this if you enjoyed this alternative to road rage. You can find the source of this story’s featured image here.
