BREAKING: Georgia Judge Announces Verdict For Illegal Immigrant On Trial For Murder Of Laken Riley

A Georgia judge found illegal immigrant Jose Ibarra guilty for the murder of 22-year-old nursing student Laken Riley. “The suspect was found guilty of all 10 counts total, including one count of malice murder, three counts of felony murder, one count of kidnapping, one count of aggravated assault with intent to rape, one count of aggravated battery, one count of hindering a 911 call, one count of tampering with evidence and one count of being a ‘peeping Tom,'” Fox News wrote. "Quite frankly: she got him.… pic.twitter.com/fX54FPhrqE — Collin Rugg (@CollinRugg) November 20, 2024 Fox News reports: Prosecutors said Ibarra, a 26-year-old illegal immigrant from Venezuela, attacked and killed Riley, a 22-year-old Augusta University nursing student, while she was jogging along trails near Lake Herrick on the University of Georgia campus in Athens the morning of Feb. 22. “Laken Riley herself has given you all the evidence you need alone to find this man guilty of every single count in this indictment,” prosecutor Sheila Ross said in her closing statement on Wednesday. “She did fight, and it is a direct result of that fight that gives you all the physical evidence you need to convict him.” “He killed her because she would not let him rape her,” Ross added. Ibarra, 26, is charged with 10 counts in Riley’s murder and a “peeping Tom” incident on the morning of Feb. 22. Prosecutors argued the peeping Tom incident is related to the attack against Riley, 22, because it happened just over an hour before she was killed and showed Ibarra’s alleged intent to prey on women the morning of Feb. 22. “The roommate of Laken Riley’s killer just testified during his trial that they went to the Roosevelt Hotel together in September 2023 and received a taxpayer funded flight to Georgia. Your government flew an illegal gang member to Georgia with your money — where he then proceeded to brutally murder an innocent girl. January 20th can’t come soon enough,” Greg Price wrote. He made his verdict shortly after the arguments concluded. Riley’s family became emotional as the verdicts were read, sobbing and wiping tears in the courtroom as each count was read off as guilty. Haggard made his decision in the bench trial that Ibarra opted for instead of a jury trial. The judge will give his sentencing at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. WATCH:

NATO Countries OK Long-Range Missiles Into Russia

As Sentinel reported at ten this morning, the US embassy in Kyiv is shuttered because they expect Russia to bomb the city heavily. Our US administration agreed to let Ukraine send long-range missiles into Russia, and then they announced they’re sending land mines and all the weapons and cash they can muster by January 20. Mother Of Cinematographer Killed On Set Boycotts ‘Rust’ Premiere, Says Alec Baldwin Will ‘Profit’

The mother of slain cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, who was killed in 2021 when a gun held by actor Alec Baldwin went off while filming the Western film “Rust,” declined an invitation to its premiere on Wednesday. “Rust” is premiering at the International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography Camerimage in Torun, Poland, three years after Hutchins was shot and killed. Hutchins’ mother, Olga Solovey, released a statement saying she sees the film’s release as an opportunity for Baldwin to “unjustly profit” from her daughter’s death, the Associated Press reported. “It was always my hope to meet my daughter in Poland to watch her work come alive on screen,” Solovey began in the statement, referencing the fact that director Joel Souza, who was wounded when the revolver Baldwin held fired, was slated to introduce the film at the festival. “Unfortunately, that was ripped away from me when Alec Baldwin discharged his gun and killed my daughter,” the statement continued. “Alec Baldwin continues to increase my pain with his refusal to apologize to me and his refusal to take responsibility for her death. Instead, he seeks to unjustly profit from his killing of my daughter.” “That is the reason why I refuse to attend the festival for the promotion of Rust, especially now when there is still no justice for my daughter,” Solovey said. A New Mexico judge dismissed an involuntary manslaughter charge against Baldwin for the fatal shooting. The 66-year-old actor currently has multiple civil lawsuits pending, including one by Solovey. MATT WALSH’S ‘AM I RACIST?’ NOW STREAMING ON DAILYWIRE+ “Rust” armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was also charged with involuntary manslaughter and received the maximum sentence of 18 months in jail. Baldwin has maintained all along that he was not responsible for the shooting death. In December 2021, Baldwin told George Stephanopoulos in an interview on ABC News that “I didn’t pull the trigger” of the prop gun that fired and killed Hutchins. Baldwin further denied responsibility for Hutchins’ death. “I feel that someone is responsible for what happened and I can’t say who that is, but I know it’s not me,” Baldwin told the host. “I might have killed myself if I thought I was responsible, and I don’t say that lightly.”
